Good luck with that pole and all the cabling cutting across the view! :) My only other concern would be that flimsy door - I'd much rather something solid and secure to safeguard the expensive equipment within. Also, going to such lengths without installing a solid pier in the process is a little redundant, especially if you're going to such lengths to set up a permanent housing - most people who do so are typically looking to set up large telescopes that are impractical for mobile purposes or for wheeling out of garages.

I see one side slides down. Do you have any issues on the opposite side shooting low objects? How high is you mount inside?
