Hello Vlad. Do You maybe stil have all files which come with printers sd card? I did not manage to copy files because files was corrupted. Can you please upload it? thanks in advance
This has been an enormous help! I just got this printer, no experience with 3D printers prior. Literally just set up mine as I watched you do the same. Thanks so much!
I had to come back and watch this again - I saw Teaching Tech's video and that almost scared me off getting this printer. :D Your printer seems much more friendly.
Very helpful. Am setting one up right now. But I will add 2 point. When installing the reel holder, you can disconnect the mount from the arm, attache the mount, then bolt the arm back on. Much easier. Second, and most important, try powering it on before attaching the gantry. If it powers on, all good, proceed. If it doesn't, gently flip it over and remove bottom plate (watch out for the fan wire attaching the plate to the circuit board. Check the side of the power supply for a recessed red switch. Make sure it is showing either 230 or 110 (maybe it was 115), which ever corresponds to your region. I spent half a day using a voltmeter to test various connections, fuses and wires before I found reference to this.
In order to disable power loss recovery for the printer, you must insert the following code at the top of the start gcode in machine settings (CURA): m413 s0 (Obviously if the power goes out, your print will automatically fail without being able to recover). I also like using this gcode: m300 p200 s440 (play tone) only works for certain printers. I know it works for Ender 3 Pro (very loud), Ender 3 V2 (too quiet), and CR-10 V2. For me it seems to only work on the printers with the blue LCD screen. I use it to let me know when my print starts and ends.
@39:32 Start G-Code should not be changed from E5000.00 to E500. The image provided with the printers manual is cropped and refers only to "home" part, not to the rest of the code.
this model i like probably will be my choice good size projects checked auto leveling cheked, good control screen checked. Now i will wait and see a good price sale and will perchase this model. Nice review. thanks for sharing
I used a machinist square to make sure the gantry is at 90. Another thing I’ve seen you do in the past is make sure the X screws are at the same point. But I guess with the auto leveling it does not matter. Another good review.
Thanks for this - looking to buy one of these real soon. That spiralise problem - on another review of this the (I think) Make With Tech channel he found if he did exactly the same print but from the computer it worked great - there seems to be a bug in the Recover process where it tries to write to the card on every Z change.
My CR6 SE had the same reading problem of the SD card. The printer can’t read files folders so it shows up blank. You have to remove all folders and keep just the g-codes
Thanks for your detailed video. I had this printer a few days ago and its my first 3d printer. Can you send me your profile settings about this printer?
THe memory capacity should be augmented no? to correct the lack of memory on bigger prints? if that is the problem when you tried the yellow space ship?
I bought it but I have vibration in y axis like yours maybe even worse. How can I solve the vibration problem I tried to loose the belt nothing changed. I dont want to change glass bed. Is the cause weight of glass bed? Please I need advice.
Thank you for this great review! I'm looking to get my first 3D printer soon to print R/C model airplanes so I need at least a 10" x 10" bed. But I see the Creality has some shortcomings. Are there any other printers in that size and price range that are better quality? Also, would you be able to look at a model on Cults called the Das Liddle Stick and tell me if the printers in that size and price range will print it properly?
Hi bro i hope you fine , bro can you please tell me about this printer few question is did the lcd of this printer hange sometime ? And is the firmware of this printer is great without creating software issues ?
hi I just bought my cr10. smart I did what's in the video for tightening the bed only 3 of the 6 wheels get tight the bed doesn't wobble but I feel a little skip when I slide it any suggestions would help. thank you
Thank You so much for the video and with all the information. I have you tried to set up the wifi because I am not able to do so. Can you help me with any information about that part ? please
I would think very carefully before buying this printer as the Smart features don't work, the WiFi is the Creality WiFi box and the Creality Cloud site is full of models that the creators sell as their job yet they are available for free on Crealitys site and have no reference to the creator and were uploaded to the site 4 days before the site launched which is ample evidence that Creality has stolen these thousands of models and the WiFi problems were ommited from this review
Just get an ender 3 max instead .... It's just good in everything .. massive build size, immaculate prints , room for upgradation , filament runout sensor
@@AndrewAHayes I really get the impression Vlad values the sponsorships and/or money from these companies over being fully honest with his viewers. I don't think there is a single printer he reviewed where he disliked anything about it. Mediocre print quality being labeled as 'pretty good' and stuff like that. If what you say about the WiFi problems is true and Vlad left it out on purpose, then that's unacceptable in my book
Mine has had a catastrophic firmware failure after only 3 months. Will not boot or stay on. Have re flashed the firmware given to me by Creality to no avail. Needs a new mother board and screen. Being provided by Creality but that will take 3 weeks to arrive. Plus the time it took to get them to send one. Machine will be out of service for over a month, not including replacing the board and then seeing if it even works. Very disappointed.
Hey Vlad, you really need to start being less biased about the products you receive and also show off the less good sides. Like another comment mentioned, you didn't show off any of the 'smart' features - was it because they were not working?
I was told this was one of the best systems on the market. Like a guy I know wants to get one when his older system dies.... It isn't perfect. It does seem to have some issues. The display for example had an issue

Considering the name of this offering from Creality contains the word "Smart" some people may be wondering why you did not show the "Smart" features of this printer. I was not wondering and in fact suspected this part would be ommited from this review, you see there is a reason and that reason is that it doesn't work, Creality have just stuck the guts of their WiFi box in there which also had problems when it launched and still has problems, also there are problems with the cloud printing site not working correctly, well you could always connect via Octoprint, except that you cant, Emily The Engineer also failed to show her viewers that the Smart function did not work. Considering that your loyalties lay with the company that provides you with free printers and not with the people that buy printers with hard earnt money I shall no longer be watching your videos and I suggest no one buys a printer based on your reviews as they are not a true evaluation of the product, "Did Sainsmart Ask You Not To Mention The WiFi" is the question that should be being asked
@@kry102001 they are taking the community for fools by fitting the WiFI box to this printer, a Raspberry Pi should have been fitted, even a Zero W would have been better to connect to their cloud service with stolen models than this abomination, they are 100% aware that the Wifi box does not work correctly. Thank you. That was a very clear guide/instruction on how to change a filament on Creality CR-10!
Ive been unboxing a bunch of printers lately but this specifically looks a hair higher quality than normal. Love the bed mount! Nice one Creality!

honestly the only cr 10 smart review anyone needs to watch (edit: typo)

amazing setup .. very detailed and informative .. many thanks
The nozzle expands the most and should be hot for leveling BTW
You have the spool holder on the wrong side of the mounting bracket. That's why you can't turn the holder all the way to the back.

Hi Vlad I have a question cuz I did not see this anywhere does this printer have a switch for 110-220 V? Please answer if you can
Not 100% sure but I think there was a switch on the power supply as it is 110v-240v
@@JustVlads it doesn't have one

Nice video
can you test the anycubic i3 mega S 3d printer?
why do you stick so much on that bottle? CR 6 does not stick at all so there is not adhision there (CR 6 SE)
Do You need to level the bed every time you do a print?
Nope, once levelled using the Smart levelling, your good to go.
Dude, I need to know how to change the filament in this thing... you skipped right past it.....
What to do if filament gets stuck and won’t go thru tube?
Yes I have it unlocked
which firmware is this ???? my autolevel is way dumber...
