I have literally come back to your video scores of times, to solve many issues that were due to my own human error. Thank you so much for a simple, direct video. I feel very prepared to use my new printer.
Nice video. I have CR10S pro 4-5 years old and I love it. Also have a new Bambu lab P1S,..but when it comes to CR10Spro,...you have to be a little of mechanic.:) This manual bed leveling and some other stuff, is very unique ,...I was surprised that a newer version doesn¨t have an automatic bed leveling. But,..I like this printer,...and I like Creality products. Keep on going man:)
Haha, yes he did and he even said at the beginning of the video showing the runout sensor that "we have an arrow of the direction the filament flows". Either way, it'll still work the same.
My springs are compressed, and the nozzle does not come close to the bed, not even close. Decompressing the speings almost full and my z offset is still -4. This feels wrong and still bad first layers. Corners trammed as shown. What am i doing wrong?
My CR touch starts flashing red when bed leveling and if I do get it to level then it will not run a process the CR-10 Smart pro is new I have never gotten it to work it will not run a job. This has been a $400 waste of money
Hi. So I just bought this printer largely based on this video and perhaps I just got a lemon or perhaps I just don't know enough about these 3D printers yet. My first issue right of the bat was the right hand side of the gantry was not square to the table. The left side was perfect. However, I was able to bring it back to square by adding a small piece of paper shim from a post-it note and now it is perfectly square. The next issue was the printer trying to print into the air instead of on the bed. Using your video I was able to figure out that I needed to use the Z access offset feature to bring it back down. However, the offset correction seems pretty big "-3.15mm" so I ask is this a normal amount or is there something wrong with this printer? After I changed to Z-offset by "- 3.15mm" I printed the candy bowel and it has bumps in it and a few holes. I would guess that perhaps the filament provided by Creality wasn't very dry but it looked very well packaged. Then lastly when I tried to get the cloud app working and that didn't work either It wouldn't connect to the printer or the WIFI or something. Truthfully, I haven't really focused too much attention to that problem yet. I have engaged with support but haven't heard back from them.
I can't get mine to stick keeps balling up and not making any Type of shape. I've tried raising the z Axis so it's higher off the bed. I've tried lowering it, so it's lower on the bed. But it just keeps balling up.

most clear explanation i have come across for this 3d printer. Wish this video was out sooner woulda saved alot of headaches!
Excellent video man. This is much more comprehensive for bed leveling than the provided instructions. Thanks!

What do you mean by that the aluminum knobs should be run down all the way? Does it mean the copper spring should be tight or loose?
The filament runout sensor has an arrow for the direction the filament is supposed to go.. you installed your line backwards

Looks pretty cool

So helpful
Thank you.
How do I turn off power recovery mode? I can’t find that in any of the settings.
How can I change spiralized print to a straight print?
Where is the camera?
connects via usb

Buy some bed adhesive sticks. It’s a life saver
