here me out cody is clone x and tech is the gen 2 clone x that is being created. They go to Tantis get everyone out and blow the place up. Cody most likely dies after a fight with rex and tells him where Tantis is. The batch and Rex's clone rebellion go there. Rex frees the clones and the batch finds Tech being developed as clone x Gen 2. They get tech out of there and just like how the Bad batch were introduced in clone wars, they go out with a bang and blow Mt.Tantis to shreds.
Rey is not Omegas daughter. We already have the canon backstory of Reys true mother
Ryan, did you forget that there are other female clones besides Omega and Emeri?
Firstly, Rey's mother it's not Omega, she name is Miramir. And secondly, Palpatine's son (or Rey's father), he name is Dathan. I once read Wookieepedia.
The aqualesh or however you spell it in Star Wars a new hope was actually an architect and his friend making a bad joke caused him to get his arm cut off by Obi-Wan which subsequently ended his architect career. So they all aren't bad. That is cannon via robot chicken.
I don’t picture it as babies knowing how to use the force. I picture it as the baby wanted its toy and inadvertently triggered its force power to move an object to obtain it.
Babies aren’t limited to what they believe is and is not possible.
Legends had babies doing way more impressive shit on instinct.
Exactly 👍🏾
Babies have no blockage
Totally agree. Great comments here
When Cad Bane says "That question shows more than you think" or something just goes to show how clever and attentive he is.
I loved that scene so much. He wasn’t in this episode much but it was a great Cad Bane episode. Sometimes less is more.
Wow, Palatine’s obsession with kids would have had him fit right in at Nickelodeon back in the day
oh my goodness
makes sense since hes a politician as well
Or the BBC today... cough cough, Jimmy saville, Cough
@@EricDKaufmantoday? The guy has been dead for decades
Dang 😮
I predict Omega has a second tracker hidden on her somewhere. They scanned her looking for a tracker and found one. She figured that once they found the one tracker they were expecting they would not scan her again, and the Troopers did not.
That's what I was thinking... I was like they really should scan her again after they took the first one lol
That or hunter is on the ship and has the same idea as Omega. So at arriving on Tantis he will make himself stealthy to calle for backup.
That’s what I was hoping.
@rafenix84 When Hunter washed up on the beach, I thought he was really in front of the cave with X's ship, guess that would have been too easy/lazy writing for them
She could also connect with Ventress or Gungi through the force while meditating. If she is force sensitive.
When omega left the lula doll with tech's goggles i totally thought "welp i guess wrecker is next to go". Totally has memorial vibes.
stop just stop stop making next he will die ideas its not good
for me, that is what told me their ship was going to be destroyed. and yep.. all the important memorial items are out of the ship, lets blow it to smithereens
Could be some foreshadowing, OR it could just be an innocent gesture. Knowing how well this show has been set up over the last seasons, I'm betting it's foreshadowing.
@@luckygrunt I thought it was that deep, but when the ship blew up I got it. Filoni didn't want those things destroyed, too. Or Gonk.
@@luckygrunt i mean, wrecker first phrase was "the cavalry has arrived", and the final episode name will be that, so either wrecker prob will die or the entire bad batch.. since we dont see them in future series..
There are 4 episodes left 😭😭😭
It’s gonna be tragic
the way he gets me every single time with the "your mom" line. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
I hope that the assassin clone isn't Tech, it would just diminish his sacrifice. It would be cool if it's revealed that the assassin clone is Cody, we only saw him that one episode and if Rex and the others show up on Tantis it would be a mega cool showdown
Knowing Feloni I'm pretty sure it's Tech. I hope I'm wrong though.
I think is Cody :( we still haven’t seen him since s2
The voice is more like Crosshair's than anyone else - doesn't sound like Tech at all (to me at least).
It will break my heart if it is Cody. Probably is though
Yeah sure...Tech with Crosshair's voice xDD
love that it finnaly explained why they need her blood, not that she has an m-count, but that her blood has a BINDER that allows midis to stick in a clone body. p.s governor tarkin not moff
I think Baby Kitty used the Force only because s/he was actually throwing a tantrum about the doll or whatever it was.
He
Baby kitty!! Lol!
The baby alien kinda reminds me of Shifu from Kung Fu Panda, as well as red pandas in general.
The music in episode 11 is freaking amazing! It is dark, sinister and and keeps you on edge
Agreed
Bad batch is what Star Wars needs to be. It’s great
Love they used Crosshair's empire theme again. And WE need to see Delta Squad man.
It’s weird not hearing scorch’s original voice but I’m glad they finally admitted that commando is scorch instead of just his name popping in at the credits
@@Darkwolf523 scorch being so robot and emotionless also is sad, considering he was the "comedic relief"... But oh well, his whole squad died
@@brathersadda9436 😭
I have a feeling he survives for a while with Rex, Wolf and Gregor and that they save him in this show. Or he dies and that’s ok too. Great that they included him either way.
Some people have the blood type that makes them a universal *donor*, "O Negative". Omega has the blood type that makes her the universal *cloner*, "Omegative".
This should have more likes
The "He'll be less trouble then" line about the new test subject baby is a solid foreshadowing of that baby ragdolling those troopers with the force hulk style
I'm glad you said Clone X and crosshairs sound similar cause I was thinking maybe crosshairs had his DNA spliced into the regs to make them stronger and become clone X. Also Omega knew the com would be taken off her, I would guess she took Wrecker's or Crosshair's com as well so she could be tracked to Mt Tantiss
I'm pretty sure the species that Bane kidnapped was introduced in the "Solo" movie.
It’s funny how SC repeatedly forgets that Ahsoka was shown to have survived her duel with Vader IN SEASON 2. It took two years for them to reveal how. But her survival came first.
Emperor palpatine is going to feel a huge disturbance in the force when clone force 99 get to tantiss! Shit is going to go down i am so ready for our boys to free omega ,and the rest of their brothers.
These episodes were so good. I can tell they are building up to an “omega uses the force to save the day” thing, but I’m actually excited for it. Because unlike all the other characters that have been given the force, the story of Omega actually is good.
Omega is such a great character. If she survives this show then someone like Ventress can train her either in attitude or in the ways of the Force and her whole life story will end up being so interesting. Like coming from her start as a scientist with Nala say, then learning to survive with the Bad Batch is a crazy back story for a future Jedi or rogue mercenary/adventurer.
You know I actually have a feeling that Emerie will be the one to make the ultimate sacrifice and be one of the first to try and defect and I actually thought that the bad batch would come and rescue the baby like they'll get contacted by the hidden path..
I have a feeling Emerie also has the right blood they need. That's why she was said to have the power, but she has never been tested
@@mattyt1961omega said they took emeries blood too
@@Fuzzmo147 when?
@@mattyt1961 when she was telling Rex about Tantiss on Pabu
@@Fuzzmo147 Rex hasn't been on Pabu (since Tantiss) When she spoke to Rex on Teth the said that they were taking samples from all the clones even me... there was no mention of Emerie's blood
The moment the fuel droid removes the fuel hose because of the alarm reminds me of the library scene from Indiana Jones 3 where a worker will look at his stamp when it makes metal noises.
Cad Bane's ship is actually called the Justifier
I caught that too.
Bane "Here we go!" *plays Toto in the speeder* lol XD
Too bad he never actually has any fun like that
The quip about Omega escaping with the Cortexiphan children was very sharp! Great Fringe callback!
The spaceport they met Cad Bane at looks like a station in the Mass Effect series ironically named Omega
Ha
props for the closing comment on cortexiphan kids. amazing reference.
Came here to say this.🤜🤛
Same! Love a good Fringe reference. 👏
Seconded 🙋🏼♂️
I missed it despite watching the show, that said I haven’t seen it since it originally aired

Ryan continues to call Lee Van Cleef Clyde 😂
I had to check if he knew something we didn’t. I’m like LEE! But IMDb does say Clarence Leroy Van Cleef. So, I was like…is Clyde a nickname for Clarence? No. Still not Clyde.
@@al28854 I am, but being as this is the second video with Ryan using “Clyde,” I started to believe I was the one who was wrong.
Thank god I am not the only one. Being one of my all time favorite actors its been driving me up the wall. Appreciate you guys.
Saved me an akshully.
Honestly, the babies using the force seems like it can be compared to children using magic in Harry Potter. Despite having never received formal training wizarding children can still pull off some powerful magic, they just don't really have any control over it. For example Harry causing the glass to disappear and then reappear in the zoo. Force sensitive babies are equally capable of Force feats, but it's more something which happens than a conscious action.
We have also seen force user anger tantrums inadvertently cause objects to shake or move.
@@watcherzero5256 I'm pretty sure we also saw a force sensitive baby levitating a ball back when Cad Bane was impersonating a jedi to kidnap force sensitive kids for paplatine.
@@jameslars7391Thats mentioned twice in the video.
The baby using the force didn't bother me. I mean, giraffe babies can walk when they are born and human babies are wiggling balls of fat. One thing that makes Scorch stand out is that he was player-controlled in the Republic Commando game in 2005. I actually loved hemlock telling Tarkin "That's classified." We saw troopers shooting at kids and a dog, which makes me want to turn on a game and slice up a whole platoon of stormtroopers. I was thinking the same thing about the Marauder and the Razor Crest.
The music was the best part of both episodes.
I get Stranger Things vibes with the synthesizers.
I like how the dirty rat narc at least looked like he felt a lot of regret when Bane through the credits at him, hopefully he went home and rethought his life.
The closer we get to the finale the more I fear that the entire Bad Batch will die 😢
Babies using the force makes sense. They don’t have to unlearn. Or try, they just do. Controlling the force is another matter…
I felt so bad (extra emotion encouraged by the superb spundtrack) for Crosshair seeing that he failed to place a tracker. The emotion shown on his face when Omega told him that it's her choice to surrender made it all the more sad. I wonder if Hunter and Wrecker are going to turn against him briefly, thinking that he gave her over to them.
16:09 - Emrie does not pass the toy on to Bairn (the toddler - not baby - owl kid); she passes it on to Eva.
2:34 that species was first seen in Solo: A Star Wars Story.
one you missed is in Point of No Return, during the invasion the music that plays is the same tune that some call "Anakin's Dark Deeds" or "I'm so Sorry" which had become the theme for Order 66 which we heard all the way back at the beginning of season 1 with that Order 66 scene
"Ode to 66" is the music beat I believe
The babies using the force feels more like how babies use their muscles intuitively, so I never minded that. Makes sense that as they age into children whose brains develop more, they would actually get in their own way a bit and thus require training.
There's a subtle audio FX cue to the Death Star when Emerie first enters the Trek Starbase 1 looking space station. A few seconds into the first scene of her walking in the station, immediately after landing, there is a deep "oooooOOOOOoooooh" sound present that is only ever heard on the Death Star. I think that it has something to do with the lifts(elevators) or high power systems.
I'm not ashamed to be a Ben Burtt fan.
In retrospect, it honestly didn’t make much sense to think Omega was force sensitive (especially after her time on Tantiss). The Empire would have discovered it, and - even without us knowing about the child experimentation in “Identity Crisis” - the Empire would have treated her very differently had they discovered it.
I look forward to watching SC straight after the new episodes.
Todo may actually be nod to the band Toto. In 1979 they released a single "99", which was inspired by George Lucas' movie "THX-1138."
I like how the droid is named Todo 360, with the word 'todo' being Spanish for 'everything' or 'all', and 360 referring to every single direction of observation.
I really didn’t like how Luke was able to weld the force after a 20 minute session with Obi wan. Then to blow up the Death Star without his targeting tech… come on now. A few days before he thought the force was a myth.
He didnt wield the force..he simply cleared his mind and focused and used the technique obi wan taught him on the falcon with the blinders on. Might want to watch that scene again... Do you even Star Wars bro? lol..and he didnt think the force was a myth btw... He had never even heard of it before.
8:50 Lee Van Cleef
I wasn't expecting a Fringe reference, but I'm here for it.
OMG, you are so fast! I'll watch the vid after I see the new episodes. Just wanted to give props for the all nighter it must have taken to get this video up so soon.
He's got a staff. And I haven't ruled out them getting prerelease tape. We have no idea how far this goes.
They get screeners early, Ryan mentioned it in the last 2 episode release on same day earlier this season
Excellent pair of episodes. Love seeing servants of the Empire having to confront their own involvement and have cringe-inducing second thoughts. We need a whole wave of Black Series figures from this season! The siege of Pabu was ruthless. The mood on Tantiss with the “specimens” was chilling. MORE!
Let Doug at him 😂😂😂
From the last shot of Omega beginning to meditate, I was thinking she would connect with Ventris which on Tantris, and Ventris would help the Bad Batch find them all. That does not preclude Omega joining up with the other Force sentistive kids at all. Looking forward to a great finale.
The theory that Omega is Rey’s mother is sadly not true as in the book Shadow of the Sith, Rey’s mom name is Miramir and she is from a different planet that Rey’s father visited
Here to say this.
I thought the space station looked more like Earth Spacedock from Star Trek
Unless they’re showing that this baby is very powerful in the Force, I agree with you. If the baby just wants its toy, it probably used force telekinesis, instinctively
That makes sense. They wouldn’t know what they are doing, it is just their will to play so they play with the force.
Force pull and force push are among the easiest force abilities to on instinct. None of you know anything about star wars.
Will say here what has been said elsewhere: Emerie Karr is voiced by Keisha Castle-Hughes, an Oscar nominee (for "Whale Rider"), Queen Apailana in "Revenge of the Sith" and one of the Sand Snakes in "Game of Thrones." I don't think it's outrageous to believe that she was cast with the idea of playing an adult Omega in live action down the line.
X2 IS A CLONE OF CROSSHAIR. His voice was clearer and sounded identical in this episode
That’s what I thought as soon as they showed him, he’s also a super good shot like crosshair
This 100% I will be so disappointed if this isn't the case and he is tech
I think clone x sounded like each of the bad batch at different points in this episode - perhaps a super soldier that is made from each of them?
There was a Separatist Communications Officer Aqualish on Grievous's listening post.
Then theres Lott Dodd claiming 'we have nothing to do with the separatists', up to no good immediately calling Dooku
It would seem to make sense to folks that Gonk would be disposable enough to be exploded... to anyyone but Wrecker, who sees the droid as a friend. For him it would never have been a choice.
I get that they had to go with the cloning of Sidious to make sense of the "somehow Palpatine returned" saying.. But it would have made so much more sense (canonically - per the book)
, resources for the Empire, and secrecy wise for him to figure out his Master's plan (Darth Plagueis) of "manipulation of midichlorians" for healing and life-lengthening... Could have healed himself and lived for centuries in his pure un-cloned body. It's "poetic" Palps. has a pure obsession for immortality, even though he berated and killed his Master who's life's work was trying to do exactly the same.
ep 9 showed he knew such a power but only but draining the life drain of others to heal himshelf
Cortexiphan kids!
Thank you. Always appreciate a Fringe reference
I think younglings using the Force is kind of like a child using magic in Harry Potter. It’s there, but they have little control, like Harry made the glass disappear in The Sorcerer’s Stone. He had no clue how he did it, no control. Children with a high m-count, have it, they just can’t control it.
I literally am choking on my own sickness: 9:28 😂😂😂
That was beautiful LOL
When that clone commando said “it’ll be less trouble” saying the baby would be less trouble than an older child, it was like the commando spelling out that he’d never taken care of a baby before…
Really great observation 🎉
These two episodes were fantastic, all be it very sad and sombre, which was to be expected, I'm so hyped for the final four episodes of this show.
Emory is gonna replace Tech in Clone Force 99, that’s my guess.
My guess is either her or crosshair is dying. Like s3 building up crosshair’s redemption arc and building up emery’s arc as well.
@@Darkwolf523 I want to be wrong, but I am not sure any of them are getting out of this one.... best case it will be Omega and the doc, but it is possible they will all sacrifice to bury the place, that is why they are still looking for suitable bodies after ROTJ
sadly the whole batch will not make it out😭 they will probably go out like the ending of rogue one. Clone rebellion sacrifice watch
@bubberr6649 Final shot on the shrine with Tech's glasses and the loth cat stuffie. Roll credits.
@@blairhoughton7918 final shot is the girl from necromancer prison placing the doll on a shelf with Emory's glasses
You briefly mentioned but did anyone that assassin x voice keeps changing its not the same every time he talks. Once he even sounded identical to crosshair
I think he has all the same genetic “defects” as the bad batch. So he has Tech’s brain, Hunter’s instincts, etc.
He’s the culmination of that project.
I noticed that this episode too. Sounded just like Crosshair!
It's not exact. Dee Bradley Baker wouldn't make a mistake like that.
And I don't think he was a clone, and his remark about Crosshair "could have been one of us" just refers to what Crosshair said about how he started to train on Tantiss for the assassin squad but washed out.
you mean like when babies uncontrollably move an arm or leg or they throw something farther than they intended?
The Fringe reference was excellent!! Olived it!!!
Great review as always and awesome Fringe reference at the end LOL
Really enjoyed the Fringe reference you used at the end 👏 👏 👏
Maybe Palpatine is in fact William Bell 😱
I wish I could somehow post a GIF meme of the “Dinosaurs”baby saying, “Not The Mama!”
First the razor crest now the marauder 😭
NGL, hearing the song, Africa in that clip with Bane was strangely fitting. Lol.
Suggestion, what he was looking at was actually a Phase 1 Dark Trooper, which makes sense if years later Gideon was managing the program and had Phase III Dark Troopers suggesting the dark troopers (brainless soldiers) have always been associated with project Necromancer. (Gideon of course though was diverting resources to create an army of force sensitive clones of himself)
What did you think of the episodes?
Getting darker every episode
So heartbreaking.
Crosshair
I liked the episodes, espesially the darker tone but I can't help to feel that they make the rest of the season rather redundant since we just ended up at the same place the season started with Omega in the custody of the Empire.
@@mortagon1451it is and it isn’t redundant. We got a lot of good development between the whole team and crosshair is no longer captive, but I get why you’d say it was.
The best 'Your Mom' jokes are always on ScreenCrush! XD Said it before: Do enjoy far more ScreenCush's episode about the episode than the regular episode
What I love about the imperial prison on Narkina 5 and this part of the Tantiss facility is that their design are clearly inspired by the theory of the panopticon. The panopticon is not only fitting but also terrifying.
Love the Fringe reference at the end
‘Cortexapham’ … love the reference 🤩
These were two great episodes, and have me on the edge of my seat to what happens next. For the first time, I'm scared for the Bad Batch.
Great vid Ryan!
I think the kid was able to knock down the vase, because it had a higher m-count than most. You can see her blood levels are higher than both of the other kids in all three graphs. I think the kid has higher than normal
Hahaha Doug @5:11 was awesome. Feels little guy. Feels.
Hunter wakes up at the beach with batcher; Clone X ship was left in the cave by the beach. I think Hunter managed to slip into the ship.
The Cortexiphan kids was a deep reference I did NOT see coming 😂
I think C Bane threw the credits in distaste. A job is a job, but if he didn’t get a call for that job, I’m sure he wouldn’t have been bothered by not having it and he probably loathe the informant
Nice breakdown as usual, but FYI, just about every time you've referred to Mr. Van Cleef, you've gotten his name wrong. It's "Lee Van Cleef", originally "Clarence LeRoy Van Cleef Jr."
Cortexiphan kids! lol Love a random Fringe reference!
Clone X's ship looks to have been based on the Stardestroyer fighter from "The Star Wars", the original script before it was fine-tuned into the version we got. Great analyses, Ryanarey!
I like to imagine that the baby wasn't 'throwing' something. More that the baby was just blindly reaching out with the force and 'it just happened'. Less active control.. more just kinda happened.
The Assassin Infiltrator is a product of Kuat Drive Yards, hence the similarity to the Acclimator and Venator. However, its genetic roots come from the Sith Infiltrator the Scimitar, a Star Courier manufactured by Sienar Systems.
After Maul's death on Naboo, Emperor Palpatine had the Scimitar taken to Kuat Drive Yards. It wasn't that Palpatine wasn't familiar with the ship, but rather wanted the technology it possessed to be in the hands of KDY.
From this, the Assassin Infiltrator was born. The Kuat Athame Personal Shuttle.

I bet Hemlock has been making fast growing clones of all of the Bad Batch and have been using them in different positions/ranks.
That crossed my mind today as well.
Yeah I figured the assassin is a clone of Crosshair
14:26 nah, that's high charity from halo
Exactly what I thought
That baby and parent's race was in Solo.
I think you will find that it's Lee Van Cleef, not Clyde (8:53).
Oh I guess Echo and Rex will have to jump in and save the day. Hunter Crosshair and Wrecker need some serious help.
And Cody, that clone still has alot to make up for since gunning Obi wan down 😂
and Asajj will return, to continue Omega's training ..... in another series.
I’m so glad they actually made Scorch the commander as a call back to Republic Commando🥹
