Have to say, the grabbing/pounding of the dirt scene was technically impressive. Oddly a bit too impressive given the cartoon nature of the series, that one scene has way too much particle/physics simulation going on in it than was necessary! lol
Two things I noticed: First, the fact that the people of Corvus not knowing that the empire was defeated when the new Republic arrived reminded me of Juneteenth when the slaves in Texas didn't know that the north won the civil war and were freed, but weren't told. Second, I find it odd that the clones did not try to attack Barris because, "she was no longer a Jedi, but that fact did not matter for Ashoka when her clones turned on her during order 66.
I think that the Coruscant guard would’ve been specifically told to not attack Barriss. Palpatine knew he could use her for the Empire. The clones with Ahsoka, namely captain Rex and later Jesse, made a conscious decision that Ahsoka should still be executed.
Clones are sentient thinking beings. The technicality of Ahsoka not "technically" being a Jedi, but serving their purposes and with deep-rooted loyalty towards many prominent Jedi was an obvious threat and target for order 66. Something well within the decision-making purview of a squad level decision. On the other hand, Barriss was one of the known fallen Jedi Palpatine was aware of and probably made special orders not to harm her and to bring her before him.
If we’re going to get picky, Order 66 targeted both Ahsoka (who just said she wasn’t a Jedi to Mace Windu in front of Rex) and Maul (who never was). The inhibitor chip orders would have been designed before the events of The Phantom Menace, when Maul was still Sidious’ apprentice and Ahsoka was a random toddler, so there’s an awful lot of inconsistency there.
yeah the way they decided to word that pissed me off so much because that’s exactly what Ahsoka and Rex used and it didn’t work so it ruins the ending of such a good show. Ahsoka gave up on being a Jedi just as much as Barriss had. It’s not something fans should have to explain away because it would’ve been so easy to say literally anything else. “Tell me what’s happening has there been an attack?” “Just be glad you’re not a Jedi anymore by tomorrow they won’t exist” Nicolas Anastassion really could’ve handled that better of course everyone is gonna immediately think of Ahsoka.
When Grievous said, "Wipe them out. All of them," he was actually quoting what Count Dooku said to him just prior to the attack. Although Dooku's exact quote was "Wipe the witches out. All of them."

Bariss and her friend having to fight eachother for the Inquisititor position is also reminiscent of Mother Talzan and Ventress making Savage Oppress and his brother fight to the death to become Dooku’s assassin
Here is another Easter egg. Barris starts out in a red prison, symbolic of hell and the dark side and ends up on wide open light white space with ice and snow, that's quite the opposite.
Another nice callback: when we're first introduced to Barriss in the clone wars, she's teamed up with Ahsoka in a mission in which it was essential to know the paths within a labyrinth of caves by heart. There was a key plot point of Barriss having memorized the maze, unlike Ahsoka. And now her showdown with the 4th sister was in a similar scenario: Barriss was the one who knew the way out of a maze of caves. I'm not entirely sure Barriss is dead, by the way. I think it's just vague enough so that the writers can bring her back if necessary without painting themselves into a corner. Star wars has already brought back Maul so I don't think Barriss' wound would necessarily kill her. The scene of Lyn carrying Barriss out of the cave and promising to heal her was also a callback to the previous episode, in which Barriss has a very similar scene with the jedi. If I'm not mistaken, we don't get to see if Barriss managed to heal that jedi in the end. Just like we don't get to see if Lyn manages to heal Barriss. (BTW the jedi's pronouns are they/them, I see a lot of people misgendering them) I hope the writers bring Barriss back some day. Gosh I'd love to see Barriss meeting Ahsoka again.
Not only that but Barriss didn't gravitate towards the green lightsaber, the Grand Inquisitor gave it to her. Also she didn't force choke the Grand Inquisitor. This all makes me believe that Ryan doesn't actually watch this stuff. He's just given scripts to read. Edit: Also Barriss didn't die. If he actually watched it, he would know that.
@@daedalus25 you cant prove that one way or another, that she didnt die. sure did look that way to me. i know you could see her breath, then you couldnt. wont know for certain until some new show shows it.
@@tooslow4065 You can easily prove it if you have Filoni tell you. But I know how storytelling works, and if it's not obvious to you, just wait until a future story with her comes out. I'm actually willing to bet this is setting up Lyn and Barriss' appearance on the next season of Ahsoka.
If Barriss died, they did it so strangely and anti-climactically that it would really be weird. Plus, it would be a total lack of respect for the character. Coming back after 11 years just to die... Plus, Lyn is currently a noname character; sorry, but 3 shorts are not enough, and we only cared about her character because of Barriss. In my opinion, Barriss survived. Yes, I know we have enough characters surviving lightsaber stabs, but in Barriss's case, it can be realistically justified: 1. In the fifth episode, they showed her iconic ability - Force Heal. 2. Barriss was able to dodge Lyn's attacks and got hit by a completely random chaotic blow that killed her. That sounds strange already. 3. Barriss was focused on redeeming Lyn. My theory is that Barriss wanted to be stabbed or wanted to risk her own life. She knew it would redeem Lyn. Then Lyn tries to do something with her hands. Barriss takes her hand and places it on the wound. She also puts her own hand there. In my opinion, Barriss used Lyn's Force to heal herself, or Lyn was also a healer before becoming an Inquisitor, and Barriss tried to calm her. Offee naturally loses strength and consciousness, but Lyn calms down and pulls them both out of the cave. We as viewers can't see that stab. We don't know we can only speculate. This is very open ending (like in CW seson 5). In my opinion, Barriss survived. Otherwise, it would be silly because even now, if they wanted to show more of this character, she would get eternal plot armor. And the potential of this character is really huge.
I particularly like how in the old novels that Luke was always doing things he thought were in the interest of the lightside for the first 15 years of his life as a Jedi, but Yoda's warning was true that he had embraced the dark side (in the events of Dark Empire) and even prior to that when giving into his anger in places like Cloud City, Jabba's palace (force choke), and his final duel with Vader that he was still on the path to the dark side even as he was saving the galaxy in the name of the light side. This all culminating in the Hand of Thrawn books where he finally realized this after talking to Mara Jade and spending the first half of the books being more and more willing to simply do things like mind dominate enemy troops to get what he wanted and wondering if a Jedi Master were so powerful, why did Master Kenobi always come across as so seemingly weak by comparison, and it was precisely because he was in control of his emotions and felt the responsibility to not use his power to simply ease his tasks. Then after this realization, Luke finally opened himself back up to the light side and felt a confidence as a Jedi Master that he had never felt before.
I mean, I don’t think Bariss died. Or, maybe a better way to put it is that the writers left it purposefully ambiguous in case they want to use Bariss in the future.
11:26 The only part you missed was the part where Admiral Thrawn say's "long live the empire" at the end of the episode. The same as he did in Ashoka when he last talked to Ashoka on the season finally. I was so stoked hearing him say it again!!!
in the opening, that is not a clone pilot, that is ezra's customized helmet. I also thought that the crystal the grand inquisitor threw on the ground was the crystal that was in Ahmar's lower lip. The clone troopers that are escorting Barriss and Lyn are wearing the same armour as the troopers crosshair was training in the bad batch season 1. Their visors have also a green shine. But those are my findings.
baris offee didnt die. The sister said she WOULDNT let her die there, and it was shown her carrying her out of the cave. Baris was breathig during that too.
Just want to say in the opening for the Star Wars logo the “clone pilot” helmet is actually Ezra Bridger’s Storm Trooper Cadet helmet after Sabine had painted it to resemble a Loath Cat. And I’m sure you just call Chopper an “astromech droid” cus Ryan doesn’t like chopper but that’s Chopper also from Rebels.
I think it’s so weak that inquisitors don’t seem to have any kind of mental conditioning to stop them possibly ever turning back. Especially when it’s a Jedi. If someone, like Barriss, was previously a Jedi strong enough to resist the dark side then they’d be strong enough to possibly one day turn back too. Which is exactly what Barriss did. How hemlock made his CX troopers was more effective.
I feel like on some level that’s the point, they are kind of an after thought and thus outside of basic reeducation we’ve seen that they don’t much care for them after that point
GUYS THERE'S 88 EASTER EGGS. don't leave out the crazy c.s. lewis parody scene from the beavers and pevensies to the fleeing familiy and furry creature in "the way out"
The stance that bariss takes with her hands behind her back also is what some quakers call a “nonviolent stance” one that shows a willingness to suffer or be vulnerable, but not inflict suffering.. aligns with Luke Skywalker as well as Ben Kenobi’s death.
Cal Kestis did not found the path. He did help the path get to Tanalorr. According to Fandom Kawlan Roken was one of the founders. But again, Cal Kestis only learned about the path after it was already established.
"Long live the Empire." This phrase was said twice in prominence. Admiral Thrawn said it with a subtle irony. He knew the Empire was a grand idea but the execution was rotted away by petty greed and lack of foresight. The Grand Inquisitor said it with vigar, almost as if he'd want those words to inspire confidence in the ideological focused Barriss.
1) What makes him think the inquisitor killed by Ahsoka in Tales of the Jedi is the "first brother"? When was that stated? 2) Why would Rey's mirror scene be "undone" by her being a Palpatine? Seems compatible to me.
Awesome insights, thanks. I think they should keep doing these “Tales of…” series. I enjoyed seeing Barris Offee’s redemption arc and your description helped fill in some gaps for me!
Star Wars: The Thrawn Trilogy is a Legends adult-fiction novel series from author Timothy Zahn. It consists of Heir to the Empire (1991), Dark Force Rising (1992), and The Last Command (1993),
i want to thank you for remaining an open minded fan, who is able to see the internal storyline of all of these series. and while not every story is GREAT, they all serve some purpose. it is nice to see someone trying to remain positive.
Barriss had 2 EU novels, "Jedi Healer" where she was the doctor for the clones on a (bacta?) planet. They tied into a few other groups of novels from the end of the pre-Disney era that established an ensemble reminiscent of the Rebels crew
A deep cut that you missed: Several of the Mountain Clan witches, including Nali, has a headdress nearly identical to that of Lumiya, a character first introduced in the post-RotJ comics of the 80's.
A lot of episode 4 in the Inquisitorius is lifted from the novel Rise of the Red Blade by Delilah Dawson, including the fight to the death against fellow initiate and the force choking. Excellent read.
1. Ahsoka train in a blue circle in Tales of the jedi and deflect blast from droid. Here Barris has to kill someone in a red circle. 2. The clones don't kill Barris because: "Dhe is not a jedi anymore". But in the last season of Clone Wars, Rex try to use this knowledge on the clones that tried to kill Ahsoka and they didn't stop.
Ahsoka was likely specifically targeted by Sidious, being so close to Anakin, given how that's what Rex tells to Jesse and the other clones right after Order 66 was put into effect.
I think i liked tales of the jedi more. I was not really that intrested in Morgans Backstory and for me it felt a bit stretched for seeing not much from her life after all. I was wondering how she actually got Magistrate of that Village but its just a timejump after the 1st episode and now she is magistrate and also had the Idea for the Tie-Defender?? felt a bit random i mean i never got that she is big into spaceships overall. Barriss redemption arc was a bit underwhelming. If they spoil a connection with Ashoka after Order 66 how about showing it and not just mentioning it at one point?
Her being big on space ships is a pretty big part of the character though. She owns shipyards, has her own golden ship which is unlike anything we've seen before, and she leads construction on the Eye of Scion. The Tie-Defender fits in neatly there.
9:56 Calling the style in Rebels "kiddy" is a little odd considering that is not that different from the style of the Clone Wars, that and the coment at 10:24 made me think that you guys should make a video about the evolution of the artstyle in the Star Wars animated shows. From the Christmas Special and Droinds show to The Tales of the Jedi/Empire, the jump from 2D Clone Wars to 3D Clone Wars, and how they evolve from being more stylized to be more close to the movies/shows.
Rebels art style is VERY different from Clone Wars, even the earliest Clone Wars. It's a much more simplistic design, edges and details are blurrier, colors are more pastel, bodily and facial features are more exaggerated. It looks cartoony. And the show didn't come out til 2014 - by the end of the original Clone Wars run in 2013 it had evolved into a much more mature art style with better detailing, textures, and lighting effects. For me, watching in chronological order, Rebels style was jarring and very difficult to adapt to because it felt like a huge downgrade.
@@keefgtp Just to clarify, i just say they are "not THAT different", at least when compared with other Star Wars animated shows, Star Wars Resistance and Young Jedi Adventures had styles that are more diferent and "Kiddy" or Cartoony. Obviously when you put them next to each other one can see the diferences, just like if they were made to oppose each other, one is more geometrical while the other is roudend and organic, one had rough textures like if it was hand painted while the other is more smooth and colorfull, one took inspiration for its visual language the prequels and the 2D Clone Wars while the other took it from the OG trilogy and Ralph Mcquarrie's concept art, ETC. (Also the style of the Clone Wars evolve through its seasons, so comparing the original CW "movie" with the Tales of the Jedi/Empire, it's gonna look very different)
The red force fields in the tryouts fight are a mirror image of count dooku's "the box" challenge 3 where they have to choose the correct vile to the ray shields as they close in
Also, This was way too optimistic for me. Spent all that time developing Barris reasons to attack the Republic (thus the Jed) and become a major terrorist in the clone wars, just for it to be all undone. Terrible perspective.
This was great storytelling IMO...both Tales series, Jedi & Empire 👍🏾👌🏾🫡💯 I hope Filoni & Disney keep this going to fill in holes + incorporate non-canon tales 🙏🏾
Damn, I was hoping you might have an explanation to why Barris looks like she age into an old lady in the last episode while her friend, Lyn still looked the same.
I mean Lyn is not human so if it does warrant an explanation it’s entirely possible that she just ages at a different pace, not really a big deal.. remember Grogu was a 50 year old baby when we met him
@@YungBenGriffey wasn’t making a big deal haha just wondering because if I remember correctly her master is of the same species and she didn’t look as old as her. Just curious on her own situation.
I really enjoyed it i do think bariss story wouldve benefited if it was one or two episodes longer. I think it was a big mistake putting Vader in the trailer ,and in doing so teased that he ,and bariss would have an interaction The animation was gorgeous, and is some of the best SW animation that ive ever seen fourth sister was a stand out ,and i enjoyed her grand inquisitor is just so cool. Keep throwing money to Jason issacs because he always kills it.
Yeah, Barriss story was a bit too short. Morgan's story also makes good use of Thrawn, Pellaeon and Rukh. While Vader, Marrok and the TOTJ Inquisitor are just silent cameos. Still really good, but I think Morgan's story was stronger.
They need to do a baylan skoll 3 episode arc. Around clone wars timeline. Post order 66 pre fall of empire and post fall empire leading up to meeting Morgan.
8:23. Re: TIE Defenders, you brought up the TIE Fighter flight sim game. In that game (which is Legends, sadly not Canon), there was a huge arms race between the tech-savvy Imperial renegade Admiral Zaarin and the Empire (Zaarin attempted a coup), with the TIE Defender being the most sought-after technology. The fighting over the Defender is what lead to the destruction of the specialized production facilities and control of the R&D engineers. By the time the conflict was finished, the infrastructure and political support required to mass produce Defenders was gone, and starting it back up again was prevented by a little skirmish at Endor.
Also noticed that this new republic ship in Path of hate was destroyewd in the same way the Marauder was destroyed. And Naruma was as close as Wrecker o this ship, but Wrecker had armor, so he survived.
I would love to see "Tales of the Chiss." I am a few chapters into Thraw: Alliances, and it would be awesome to see in either animation or live action. Also, great way to close out Barriss' story.
I think it would be cool if we get a tales of the sigh next. The first half could be about maul, showing his origins up to where we see him first in the Phantom Menace, to his prison break based on the son of Dathomir comic, to how maul got to malekore (maybe with the help of Kira?). Then the second half could be about Darth Vader, perhaps showing that there’s still that spark of Anakin Skywalker within him (planting the seeds for his redemption in return of the Jedi)
This was soooooooo good!!! Does Lynn the third sister now become the healing person on that planet? Does she turn face now? The rest of it was so good. I was on the edge of my seat and even though some of it was a little bit predictable because you know nerds see that shit I loved it.
Man, really don't like Morgan's motivation. She is immediately shown what will happen if she goes down her path when she gets the mountain sisters killed, and she just has no remorse and just does what she wants anyway. Like a kid who gets their Xbox taken away has it made up in his mind that if he can't have an Xbox then no one can.
This may have been mentioned, but the character named "Dante" is a clear reference to the poet, and his journey through Hell accompanied by the poet Virgil. And just as in the Inferno, where the lowest point is the circle of the traitors (i.e. Brutus, Cassius, and Judas) after which poet-Dante and Virgil begins their ascent out of Hell, so here Sith-Dante's betrayal of Barriss in the forced duel both marks the low-point for Barriss (the only time in the series she kills someone) as well as the point where she starts her journey back to the light.
Someone has probably pointed this out already but that is not a clone pilot helmet it is Ezra Bridger's Helmet for most of Star Wars rebels (also the helmet he wears is originally a imperial cadet helmet for any wondering) And one more thing that is not any astro mech that is my manz chopper.
After the way the Bad Batch ended, there should be a Tales of the Clones; telling more of the story of Rex and Echo and the other clones fighting for clone rights.
I dont buy Barriss' "redemption". They decided to make her a villain out of nowhere, they should have leaned all the way into that. I refuse to believe the same person that could ruthlessly bomb innocent workers in the temple and frame her best friend also had sympathy for those they hunted as Inquisitors. My biggest gripe is we STILL never see WHY Barriss did what she did. No backstory before and during her time as a Jedi to make us sympathize with her. Only a mention of her "darkness". The writing felt like they were apologizing for her. Also, no Ahsoka or Luminara in her story. Then we don't even know if she's alive or not?
Bear in mind that being radicalized is not quite the same as outright turning evil. Now of course, radicalization leads to awful consequences. What Bariss did in TCW was completely and unquestionably wrong. But she made her intentions clear: she was fighting against the Dark Side. She was never a villain. She was led astray and made big mistakes, but her heart never once turned to the dark side.
I don't think that she was ever evil, if you read books like Jedi Healer, Bariss most definitely suffered from PTSD as a teenager. She blamed the Jedi for the horrors of the clone wars and saw them as corrupted by the Dark Side, her attack was not to destroy the Jedi, but was a misguided attempt to wake them up. It makes perfect sense that she would find herself at odds with the inquisitors once she learned their true nature and intentions.
3:31 I think that Palpatine does use Force magic. In the scene in Rebels S4E13 Palpatine is seen through one of the portals in the World Between Worlds, using a blue flame, similar in some ways to the green flame used by the Witches of Dathomir. The color of Palpatine’s flame is similar to the color of the Force lightning.

@@daedalus25 you cant prove that one way or another, that she didnt die. sure did look that way to me. i know you could see her breath, then you couldnt. wont know for certain
until some new show shows it.
@@daedalus25 i prefer proof. like what you need in a court of law. i dont assume anything.
1:15 thats the helmet of Ezra Bridger and at 1:20 is probably Chopper.
I was just coming to see if anyone noticed this... They've messed up the intro helmets a few on this channel.
I also saw it was ezra😢
Ezra's helmet is just a trophy from a clone pilot though. I'd agree they were meant to represent Ezra & Chopper but he wasn't wrong per se.
@@kendyllpoth4457 Ezra's helmet is a modified stormtrooper cadet helmet tho. You can see the drawings Sabine made on the helmet it's one of a kind.
exactly. all the other helmets are specific characters.
Yes, I know we have enough characters surviving lightsaber stabs, but in Barriss's case, it can be realistically justified:
Lyn was also in Kenobi though right?
@@My_Fridge And there, Lyn was a literal NPC. She was just there and didn't add anything to the plot.
Don’t give Disney that much credit
@@My_FridgeYep
Wasn't the grand Inquisitor stabbed through the stomach in Kenobi? Seems that wound is only fatal to Qui-Gon, barriss could still be alive...
Barriss was breathing at the end… & if Riva survived that strike 2x I’m sure Barriss is ok. She’s know for her healing abilities anyway lol
Barris is not dead just think about rebels in season 2 with Ashoka. Their stories mirror each other. I have a feel this is not the end of barris story
You… weren’t watching the breaths right at the end, were you? They actually stopped right near the end of the scene.
It was barely a flesh wound that Barriss suffered. -Sabine Wren
I mean, I don’t think Bariss died. Or, maybe a better way to put it is that the writers left it purposefully ambiguous in case they want to use Bariss in the future.
Better ending, they are both entombed in the ice cave
yes they show she's still breathing. and in the both of them are seen going out of the cave.
Without the betterhelp ad? respect. Time to watch again!
11:26 The only part you missed was the part where Admiral Thrawn say's "long live the empire" at the end of the episode. The same as he did in Ashoka when he last talked to Ashoka on the season finally. I was so stoked hearing him say it again!!!
3:40 Thats Morgan's Mother, Not Morgan
Right
Time to watch it again
Right? I thought I was crazy for a minute thinking " didn't I just watch this?"
Honestly I was so excited for the Baress story. Full redemption arc.
So is no one gonna mention that the Fourth Sister is voiced by the amazing Rya Kihlstedt, who played her in live action on Obi-Wan?
in the opening, that is not a clone pilot, that is ezra's customized helmet.
At 1:15 the "clone pilot" is actually Ezra Bridger's cadet helmet
Bastion reminded me of Thrawn when I was watching X-Men 97.
baris offee didnt die. The sister said she WOULDNT let her die there, and it was shown her carrying her out of the cave. Baris was breathig during that too.
i was still hoping atleast 1 episode that Barres and Ashoka meet them in a episode and explains what happens after the desicion in the courtroom
Have faith! It could show up in a season 2 of tales of the Jedi
@@GGBlaster i hope so for it.
Could she be the Jedi that Harris said was an old friend and scent the child too? If so than they must’ve reconciled
I like how that scene with Barris Offee in the force field mirrors Ahsoka’s test in tales of the Jedi.
Still miss my Rancor riding, badass warrior sisters. She's not dead.
Thank you for de re edit ! You guys are the best! Excelent work my friends loved the video and the series. LIKE
Just want to say in the opening for the Star Wars logo the “clone pilot” helmet is actually Ezra Bridger’s Storm Trooper Cadet helmet after Sabine had painted it to resemble a Loath Cat.
GUYS THERE'S 88 EASTER EGGS. don't leave out the crazy c.s. lewis parody scene from the beavers and pevensies to the fleeing familiy and furry creature in "the way out"
i think someone took that whole "world burning" trope a bit too literally
IMHO, Tales of the Empire is some of the best Star Wars content ever! I very much hope they make many more seasons!
The stance that bariss takes with her hands behind her back also is what some quakers call a “nonviolent stance” one that shows a willingness to suffer or be vulnerable, but not inflict suffering.. aligns with Luke Skywalker as well as Ben Kenobi’s death.
I feel like Barris didn't die. Lynn said "I'm going to get you out" so part of me feels she is still alive.
That’s ezra’s customized stormtrooper cadet helmet not a clone pilot. 😅
Loved it - they can keep doing these little stories and I won't complain a bit.
Seeing the story of Grevious would have been more interesting
It's called "Tales of the Empire" not "Tales of the Separatists"
I thought it was also a nice detail that Barris' eyes never turned yellow, like with most darkside users
I like seeing general grevous even if he is still written to be cowardly.
Cowardly? Or smart and survival focused?
Cal Kestis did not found the path. He did help the path get to Tanalorr. According to Fandom Kawlan Roken was one of the founders. But again, Cal Kestis only learned about the path after it was already established.
This show should've been about tarkin and wulff yularen
Warwick Davis’s name is pronounced the same as Warwick the place in the UK - WORR-ik
Star Wars: The Thrawn Trilogy is a Legends adult-fiction novel series from author Timothy Zahn. It consists of Heir to the Empire (1991), Dark Force Rising (1992), and The Last Command (1993),
There's also a Canon book trilogy, too
@@matthiasquickblade there are two canon trilogies. One follows Thrawn while he is still with the Chiss and the second follows him withe the empire.
i want to thank you for remaining an open minded fan, who is able to see the internal storyline of all of these series. and while not every story is GREAT, they all serve some purpose. it is nice to see someone trying to remain positive.
"WE DESIGNED THESE SHIRTS OURSELVES." ...(we took images and quotes from existing media and put them on t-shirts)
These episodes were all poetic I love it
I was thinking that too like them was the royal guards so you know they crazy 😂
Ahsoka was likely specifically targeted by Sidious, being so close to Anakin, given how that's what Rex tells to Jesse and the other clones right after Order 66 was put into effect.
Ahsoka was still an enemy of the emperor, while Barris had inquisitor potential.
The red force fields in the tryouts fight are a mirror image of count dooku's "the box" challenge 3 where they have to choose the correct vile to the ray shields as they close in
Where do you keep getting "First Brother" from? That's not mentioned anywhere in canon.
I didn’t really want a Morgan background. It was done well. I just other characters on my list ahead of her.
Tales of the empire was so good but so short at the same time. I hope we get like a new show for the empire later on.
1:16 this is clearly not a helmet of a clone pilot. This is Ezra Bridger’s helmet from Season 2 of Rebels
I think the night sister weapons were sickles, not scythes.
I think it was a big mistake putting Vader in the trailer ,and in doing so teased that he ,and bariss would have an interaction
The animation was gorgeous, and is some of the best SW animation that ive ever seen fourth sister was a stand out ,and i enjoyed her grand inquisitor is just so cool. Keep throwing money to Jason issacs because he always kills it.
I'll never forgive Disney for not throwing as much money as was needed to get Jason Isaacs to be the Grand Inquisitor in the Kenobi show.
Then the second half could be about Darth Vader, perhaps showing that there’s still that spark of Anakin Skywalker within him (planting the seeds for his redemption in return of the Jedi)
seeing palpatine rise through the naboo political system and killing plagueis would make for an interesting arc too
You all should make a video going through each inquisitor in order and their backstory/ cannon appearances.
Makes me wonder if marrok was one of those jedi who was killed. Brought back with nightsister magic.
Morgan's whole magistrate setup: garb, architecture, attitude, etc, reminds me of an Edo period Japanese daimyo.
The "Clone pilot helmet is Ezra Bridger's from Rebels, and the astromech is C1-10P (chopper)
Te Mountain Clan is probably a reference to the Singing Mountain Clan from the Courtship of Princess Leia and the Young Jedi Knights books.
Definitely need more Tales . . . of the Empire, Jedi, Old Republic, High Republic . . . MORE!
Clip listed as being from "Ghostbusters (1984)" is actually from Ghostbusters 2 (1989). Only complaint 👍
Death Star destroyed by small fighters - Spolier Alert??
This is how Star Wars should be done, Dave is an amazing writer and creator
He’s saving Star Wars
Someone has probably pointed this out already but that is not a clone pilot helmet it is Ezra Bridger's Helmet for most of Star Wars rebels (also the helmet he wears is originally a imperial cadet helmet for any wondering) And one more thing that is not any astro mech that is my manz chopper.
8:46 And of course Moff Isdain disdains Elsbeth's design. 🤓😎✌🏼
After the way the Bad Batch ended, there should be a Tales of the Clones; telling more of the story of Rex and Echo and the other clones fighting for clone rights.
Did anyone else notice the Jedi Berris saved on the mountain top was non binary? I only know because I watch with the audio description .
It was Morgan's mother who enchants the blades around 4.00, you imply it's Morgan herself, otherwise, great video as ever.
I hated to see Morgan killed off in Ahsoka. She was interesting.
Holy Forking Shirtballs did you just make a deep-cut Eddie Izzard reference!? If so, I will become a patron.
cake or death?
Is it just a coincidence that both characters in this show have an interaction/relationship with Ahsoka ?
