- I BUILT A GOLF SIMULATOR IN MY BACK GARDEN! GARMIN LAUNCH MONITOR GIVEAWAY! The UK is still currently on lockdown. And I've pretty much had all the fun I can have on the golf course I built on my back garden. So American golf have sent me a Garmin G80 GPS and Launch monitor to use in my garden. The only thing is, id need to build my own simulator, and they sent two! so I'm giving one away! lets do it... and lets do it now!

James, I have been using golf as a “get away” from the extreme stress of work for many years. As a 20 + year career first responder and flight paramedic golf has always been my oasis. Since the start of C-19 and the sheer volume of incredibly sick patients needing help, I have had no time to even consider making it to the golf course. If I am not physically working, I am on the computer or phone planning/preparing how to keep my team safe. Thank you for posting your videos every day and providing me with 10-15 minutes of joy! I truly mean that from the bottom of my heart.

Found your channel a few months back and subscribed. I have a more robust version of your washing line using 2 old sleeping bags zipped together. Doesn't need the pegs to take the weight. Just started using Zepp2 for 3D swing analysis - it is *really* good. Loads of data and graphical analysis - including video. But it only measures club head speed - not ball speed. Fantastic aid - love it. Fingers crossed - I could be one of several thousands of commentators that gets randomly selected. Better chance than the lottery. . .

Great stuff James loved it!! built the same at home with safety netting from a trampoline and 2 by 3 timbers no launch monitor yet.Working on a covid unit come home after 12 hr shift and hit 30 balls with driver love it keep up the good work Richie.

Love your videos and the Garmin. I have set up a hole in my back garden (only about 10 yards!!) but with zero technology apart from the fact that I have started doing videos for my golf club. I am taking contributions from the members to make a whole video. Some have built amazing setups in their own gardens. Happy days from The Burley Golf Club.
Love to have one of these for my yard and to teach my little boy and girl golf with it.. hard to bring them to a course, don’t want to waste other people’s time with them waiting for us.. love your channel..

This brought back some childhood memories, as I used to do this as a kid with my mums bed covers hung over the garden hedge, with the neighbour’s nervously watching out the kitchen window lol

I have been looking for a monitor that will help with my practice sessions. I just have a hitting net and hitting mat in my garage. Getting ready to install a TV mounted on the wall by the hitting net. Can you project this information to a TV. Thanks again James for all the information.

Made a driving range in my garage using some old OR sheets but I don't trust it yet to use anything other than soft golf balls. So I laughed watching you use a comforter. Well done. Stay safe.

Followed I also built a golf course in my garden it’s only 12 years long but I have a driving range net and then a chip and a putting hole, loved your idea so thought I would try it myself 👍👍👍

Played 2 rounds after using these TPpix and they literally are scuffed on the skin off one wedge. Mid you I still use the Y cut on the tp wedges, but my goodness. Love thm around the green.

Just getting back into golf and been using a local top tracer equipped driving range to range my clubs, however I could do with something more accurate 😊 Top tracer gives me an extra 15 yards on each club.

“Followed” I’m 14 and I’m getting into golf. I’ve got a net I borrowed from my grandpa and have been using it to improve my golf. The only problem is that I don’t have anything to tell me if I’m improving my shot. I have been looking at other launch monitors and have been doing jobs to save up, yet I’m only 1/40 there and I’ve been doing it for 2 months. I would really live the approach. Kind regards.

I used my old trampoline, just loosened some springs and it worked as a net.
