- [Taste the World Cuisine in U.S.A.] - Nepal Episode
After years of experience working at an upscale D.C. restaurant, owners Dip Raj and Tuk Gurung brought in the farm-to-table concept and western cuisine influences to Royal Nepal, displaying the exquisite Nepali dishes and serving house-made cocktails and comforting desserts. While not known by many, Nepali cuisine has a lot of influences from its bordering countries, India and China. Chef Rai, who worked at a hotel in downtown DC, is from Kathmandu, Nepal's capital city. The three Nepali friends decided to team up and open Royal Nepal to bring the Nepali flavors and culture to the Alexandria neighborhood.

@@KoreanHusbandHongKongWife They should also add one more dish "Bhaktapur Ju Ju Dhau" to make even more comlplete cusuine , but Ju Ju dhau is super traditional type of curd so only trained people can make the perfect "Ju Ju Dhau" otherwise it would be just a normal curd. But I love the way you present the all the stuff in the video..

Nepali food is the real bomb. So healthy to be honest, if eaten with rice in moderation. Favorite authentic dishes- alo tama bodi, gundrunk and vatmash, aloo ko achar, masaura, sekuwa, choila and the list goes on.

Well with the nan thrown in and the dal bhat tharkari missing dal I wudnt say it seems very authentic...no nan plz ..nan is not at all authetic Nepali even in terai where the food is influenced by Indian cuisine and how cud they miss dal ??? Oh lord haha ...kalo dal gheu Ani Jimbu le bhaneko and Aalu kauli ,and plz plz no boneless mutton plz ...Nepalese love love mutton with bones and skin ,where was golbheda ko aachar ?
