On Day 6 in Bhutan we had a Bhutanese Chinese meal for lunch, then visited some attractions in Thimphu, and finished the day with an amazing traditional Bhutanese food meal at Simply Bhutan.
Zombala 2 Restaurant - This restaurant is located right in the heart of Thimphu and they serve some very unique and quite delicious Indian Bhutanese Chinese food. The fried rice in particular was quite impressively good.
Buddha Point - One of the famous attractions in Thimphu is visiting Buddha Point. The views from up on the mountain were wonderful. We then took a short hike.
Bhutan Takin Preserve - Another interesting attraction you can visit in Thimphu is the Bhutan Takin Preserve. I had never seen a takin before, but there were very cool to see.
Simply Bhutan - For dinner we went to a traditional Bhutanese food restaurant called Simply Bhutan. The restaurant is set up as a traditional cultural house and you can walk around and do various activities. The highlight is the traditional Bhutanese food and they served a huge amount spread of traditional dishes.

i have been a fan since the beginning. I have never read so many negative comments. If you hate the way he mixes his food or chews to loudly, then find another channel.
Totally agree. Unbelievable so many negative people. Nothing but whining and complaints. Just leave and make your own videos.
I like the way he eats his food and his positive reaction makes my mouth salivating lol
Don't dictate to us pal!
I totally agree, in fact it seems logical to me if you don't like watching something then don't watch it. Some people forget that they are actually insulting an actual person just because it's not face to face.

This video made me home sick. I couldn't stop watching again and again. Thank you for the great video of all the Bhutanese dish.

Wish i had
Jordanvanga just finished my lunch 😆
I do too now 😅😸 lately watching mark videos with empty stomach really is a torture
Hahahahah i felt this
Such a beautiful country. Reminds me of Switzerland with the mountains and cheese!
To all the people who were like"Bhutan dont have original cuisine", please note that we have alot. And we have equal dish from outside influence too because we are not intolerant and we know how to live in diverse.
Where are you vegetarian dishes. With one exception I did not see them in this video.
Thinley W are you from there?
sorellman Mark is not vegan, and he only had one plate 😂 Please listen to what they say when he is serving himself 😉
@@isabelleb.1270 That he is not vegan or vegetarian is irrelevant. If you do a video on "Traditional Bhutanese Food" and you do not show the vegetarian dishes, you have mislead your audience. Rest assure, though, dear Isabelle, I will survive this.
@@sorellman Go film a video about vegetarianism in Bhutan, if you can afford to go. You were just a keyboard warrior.
After watching your Bhutanese vlogs am so much in love with their food🤤❤️.

after watching this video...I miss our bhutanese dishes so much..
Everything seems good in Mark's world
another great food and culture video, thanks! from all of us who can't even remotely think of travelling to Asia let alone Bhutan. And now, even not thinking of leaving the (honestly, dull) town I'm living in some South American country.... (go away, pandemic!!). Thanks for these really interesting videos which allow us to travel with our eyes, mind and imagination. I can imagine some of the food tastes because I lived in a large multicultural city in Canada for a long time -- so I tried fermented rice drinks and rice snacks and dried meats with chilli but none so elaborated and rich as the ones you show in this video!!
bhutanese food is best in the world
K cha solteeeeeee!!
Bhutanese cuisine is really cool ha....I must wanna try once...
@ 3:53 That Vegetable Manchurian reminded me of Louisiana Gumbo! Cool video, lots of great-looking food and amazing sights!

Amazing! Enjoyed it!
Wonderful video! I loved it that you went to the zoo so we could see wildlife from Bhutan and then all the culture. Thank you.
Thanks so much for providing this window into different worlds via a medium that anyone - regardless of geographic location, status, wealth, language, race, or culture can understand (food!) I am a bit too sick to travel, but your show and life experiences provide some unique travel destinations that I would have most likely overlooked otherwise. Please keep packing culture and cuisine into your food destination videos in your own style. (Also, that rice in the Bhutan videos seemed to have a reddish hue - what type of rice or grain was it?) - Thanks again Mark, and hope to run into you one day!
what a Culture in bhutan,'first time i see those wonderful food's.''.
You low-key freak me out but you go on these badass food adventures so I can't resist
