I was very into this game. It’s short, like the first, but I replayed sludge life a lot as a comfort game before and so I’ll probably do the same with this one. It’s low stakes and just fun to go around in. Also, random aside, but I have a funny theory that the game starts you off with an ungodly high mouse sensitivity for the express purpose of getting players to explore the menus, because they are pretty integral to this game overall
I still need to play the first Sludge Life, but it's nice to see that this seems to be just as good (if not better) than its predecessor. If I ever tackle enough of my backlog, I'll have to pick this up, especially with the good options it has. Thanks for the review.
Man. I dunno. This looks like it should be up my alley. Goofy vandalism and thuggery, distinct art style, exploration, and a tolerable amount of on-the-nose messaging to make you feel bad about things you have no control over. Yet, I'm not interested for some reason. I don't know why. Maybe I'm just in a funky mood today. Something just feels off.
Really enjoyed the first one, this one looks nice. Added to the ever growing backlog. Thanks for the review!
I never heard of Sludge Life, but what honestly loved the most was the super chill vibe of this video!

This game very much has that Devolver Digital stank about it (no, that's not an insult).
Already in my WL 😎
