I actyally used CGC's inhouse pressers, CCS. Lets see the quality of their work.
Nice upgrades. Crazy that Wolverine didn't move any but WOW that Captain Marvel with that gold label looks fantastic. To have a book that old in that grade is amazing! Congrats sir!
@@BrotherJohnComics Thanks buddy. I still don’t know whether to keep it or sell it. It’s a one off really.
9.8 😅 thats what we like to hear. Congrats on the 300. Like the pedigree book to, need a GA pedigree for my pc at some point
Another fab vid, some cracking books bud
Thanks Pete. Appreciate you watching as always. X
Wow!!! 😂 So happy for you Jason!!! Wish you would've gotten the custom label on that baby though.
That Captain Marvel looks Fantastic in that Pedigree case .....and an 8.0!?!!! That's nuts!!!! Great stuff
Thanks Spec. For some reason I forgot to tick the custom label box on this one.
*_Gratz on the huge bump._*
Edit: I checked your website and found the answer.
Thanks buddy. Appreciate your support.
Congratulations I just got my amazing Spider-Man 300 from CGC signed by Todd F from my 9.4. Told CGC to clean. And I got a 9.8 so I know the feeling congratulation.
Well done fellla. That is a big jump in grades.
Congrats mate, I think overall, despite the minor bump, it was a huge success, good on you mate
Thanks Dan.
Was worried at the start how the grades were going. But so glad to see how happy you were at the end! Never seen anyone so happy they sneeze! Great video Jason
lol. Thanks buddy.
Really appreciate you watching.
Yeah that's called clickbait what he did. A very pathetic way to label a video.
@@Comicbookyoutubersrock How is it clickbait. It’s exactly what happened.
@@JasonParkerComics You said "What was I thinking", which implies negatively that the results weren't what you were hoping. Clearly, the results were positive. So by implying the results were negative, especially when soo many people are anti CGC, that's clickbait to get more views from the negative side of how the video would be perceived. Clear example of pathetic clickbait, not even debatable.
@@Comicbookyoutubersrock thanks for watching. I really appreciate it.
Hey JP - great to see content again. Really pleased for you on the grade bumps !
Thanks buddy. Overall a a winner I think.
Well happy for you bud 🎉
Thanks so much Jedski. Appreciate you watching.
Well done, sir !!! 🤩🤩🤩
Thank you! 😃
Congrats on the bumps! Glad to see some content from you again
Thank you so much. Greatly appreciated.
Clever how you stacked them blind in order from disappointment to exultation. Go quickly and buy a lottery ticket! Loved that Captain Marvel cover, nice to see something older than me in your collection, lol!
lol. Same. And it’s in better condition than me.
@@JasonParkerComics You and me both, Jason! 😆
Well done, Jase! Overall, not too bad at all 👍🍻👍
Can’t complain pal.
So awesome!!!! Congrats!!!!!!
Thanks for watching pal.
Congrats mate, you did well ahahah. I have of few slabs that have that thing in the middle mate, seems like a different method of how they get the books slabbed.
Ah. Thanks for that. Was wondering what it was.
love the dacula and captain marvel great colours on the covers congrats on the asm 3oo mate
Thanks fella. Some ups and downs. But overall very happy.
Jason, if you are going to play the slab game your going to pay for your education. What you think vs what graders allow in reality comes with extreme highs and lows. The key point is to learn why they do what they do. Find out why your CBCS 9.8 did not cross over to a CGC 9.8 and have an open mind. I can tell you from experience slabbing comics or coins are all about the grading line and appearance (eye appeal) and once you have learned what is and what is not acceptable your results change drastically. Have a blessed day from Sarasota, FL and be well. Oh, no I am not with CGC, but I do submit with them.
Thank you so much for watching. And thanks for the advice. Greatly appreciated.
Talk about going from the outhouse to the penthouse.
Ha ha. Love that saying. Thanks for watching buddy.
You did very well all things considered.
Thanks Steve. I can’t complain
lol Congrats, dude!
Thanks for watching Pulp
What a result buddy. Started off slow but picked up. Can’t believe not one was greater than 1 grade bump though. Strange but congratulations nonetheless bud. 🎉
Thanks fella. Overall very happy. Thanks for watching matey.
Awesome bump on the ASM 300 and the Captain Marvel. I have a ASM 300 cgc 9.6 that I thought about CPR but looking at it I think if I cracked it, it might come back a 9.4 or a 9.2. So it's staying the way it is. Lol. Congrats on the bumps. 👊🏼
Thank you buddy. And thanks for watching. It was a big a risk but glad it paid off.
I like watching your video 😊
Thankyou very much for watching hobby. Appreciate it.
Ouch to pay to have your comics devalued must be a massive kick in the dangly bits!! Ah it all turned out better in the end so ups and downs, swings and roundabouts and all that
Life is a rollercoaster bud.
@@JasonParkerComics try not to lose your lunch!
DAM that ASM 300 at a 9.8 .... AWESOME!!!!
Thanks hammer. And thanks for watching. Really appreciate it.
Love to see the graders note on the wolverine, see the justification for the down grade.
Apparently very light spine stress.
CGC is just doing that to say they grade harder than CBCS, but they really don't.
Ultimately it’s all down to who is grading on the day.
Cbcs books usually lower than c g c.
In price or grade buddy?
I might have missed it, who did you have do your press and cleaning? CCS?
Hi there. Yes it was CCS. I know that they have had mixed results in the past so was taking a risk but I think it was worth it.
@@JasonParkerComics I've used them before, I have no complaints personally outside of there turn around time. Is it still months long?
@@RevengeOfTheNerd it’s better than what it was. I think I had to wait 2 weeks.
@@JasonParkerComics thanks! I think I'll give it a shot again
Sorry, mate, but CGC is trash. They can’t get their grades straight. It’s rare they actually grade anything properly.
I appreciate your opinion dude. Where there is human intervention there is room for error.
@@JasonParkerComics I did not mean to come off so harsh. Just know how it is to have them botch grading. I still have slabs, just don’t submit to them. Thankfully I don’t rely on that for sales or making a living.
@@AngryStraightWhiteMale That’s ok mate. Appreciate your honesty.
