It’s nice to see someone who doesn’t have super volumized thick hair already use this. I wanted to see if it would work for my fine thin hair.

OMG... FINALLY someone who actually gets to the roots and LIFTS! Too many other tutorials that start 4 inches away from the scalp and are disappointed with the volume they get. I love this styler and use it just as you've demonstrated. Excellent, comprehensive suggestions and information here... hoping many more people see this video!

After losing my hair during chemo, it has grown back thinner and finer. I’ve been struggling to figure out how to style it. Your instructions were excellent and my hair looks amazing for the first time since it’s grown back. Thank you so much!!!

Try washing your hair with indian herbs like henna amla indigo shikaki. They also helped me regrow my hair after chemo… also hair masks weekly consistently helped a lot. ❤️

Your are the queen of thin, fine hair! I know these styling tips are for everyone but you give us (fine, thin hair) so much hope and the Aveda products are the best I’ve ever used. Your are generous with your time and talent and I’m so appreciative. I really mean this when I say, God bless you. (Think I’m gonna cry) hee hee

I love the Revlon One Step Volumizer! I bought it from Target. I was never able to get the results from a hair dryer and round brush, just not that coordinated I guess...lol! This dryer gives me a perfect blow out style I love! I bragged so much about it at work that 3 other girls have bought it and love it too! I have fine hair and the low heat setting works super well on my hair. I agree the high heat is to hot for fine hair. The cool setting does not give me the volume and curl like the low heat setting. After I use the low heat, I will follow up with the cool setting to lock in my style. Love your videos! Thanks so much!

I’m a stylist at a very popular salon in Beverly Hills, and I can’t tell you how many of my clients use this product and rave about it!! A lot of them have compared it to the Dyson, and they’ve all said that the Revlon styler is by far better. I watched this video to see what the fuss was about, and I’ve gotta say I’m pretty impressed w what I just watched! Not only does it look easy to navigate, but the results are beautiful. Impressed w the amount of volume this device gives, and how easy it is to achieve. Most women are not good at styling their hair on their own, and like I said, this device makes it look pretty effortless, I’m going to start recommending this to my clients who haven’t tried it yet!

Thank you for mentioning you have thin hair. I have been watching a lot of the videos reviewing this product and everything has been either not saying anything at all or saying their hair is thick. Since I have baby fine hair, the review really helped me.

I purchased one a few weeks ago. It’s been a serious game changer! I’ve got fine hair, but A LOT of it. I tried all three settings and found the low setting works best. The cool setting took twice as long to do all of my hair, it didn’t do much, the high setting definitely got too hot, though I do occasionally use the high towards the back of my head to dry it faster.

I use this Revlon hair dryer and love it. Took me quite a few times to figure out how to use it best for my hair. I can never imagine going back to a regular hair dryer and round brush. This tool is SO much quicker and not near as much work!!

I have very coarse, thick strands of hair and I usually put my curling iron, straightener, blow dryer on the highest heat setting. However, with this tool, even the high setting is too hot. Not to the touch, it doesn’t burn me, but it makes my hair feel dry. That being said, I still LOVE it! I put it on the low heat and it makes my hair so smooth and dries it way faster than my blow dryer. I got mine at Target.

I just received my new tool last night. Today was hair washing day so I towel dried, then air dried while applying makeup, eating breakfast... Went in with this things and WOW. I am in LOVE! So much easier than juggling the brush and hair dryer. I have a lot of hair and it normally takes at least 25 mins to blow dry even with the air drying time. This took no time at all! And thanks for the tip on rolling the top layer forward for more volume! Never going back!!!

I have this and love it so much. I have never been able to get a round brush through my hair while blowdrying without getting the brush caught so this tool works perfect for me. It gives me so much volume too! I agree - it gets insanely hot haha. My routine is to towel dry, then do my makeup while the hair dries to probably 70% dry, and then I put in my products and use this.

This is a great tool! I can’t live without mine. I did burn myself at first because it does get so hot, however, I’m better at using it now so I don’t have that problem. I do let me hair get 85% dry before I use it. Best home blowout I’ve ever been able to achieve 🙌🏻

I have this blow dryer and I absolutely love it! I have very thick hair, so I either let my hair dry a bit before using or I tip my head upside down and use a regular blow dryer to get most of the moisture out. Then I use this blow dryer to style. It not only styles great, but it keeps my hair way healthier because the heat is mainly being applied to the under side of my hair. I used to struggle with frizziest using a round brush and applying heat to the top side of the hair, but not anymore! I get compliments on my hair from complete strangers all the time!

  • @BlingyBea
    @BlingyBea 5 лет назад +2

My favorite and holly grail ever, I use the low heat only, fabulous product and takes no time to do my hair now. I don’t use it on freshly washed hair, I let it air dry while I put my makeup on, it’s usually about 80% dry when I use it.❤️

I have this product and love it. I learned a lot from your excellent tutorial. I do most of my work with the low setting. It’s not the high velocity that goes with high and cool, so there’s a learning curve. I hope you’ll try using the low temperature setting. Still use cool for setting.

I have it and I love it. I don't find it too hot yet I do it quickly. It's great for volume and smoothness. I also let my hair dry for awhile naturally first so I do not use it for long. Any type of heat is hard on your hair so speed is important. Thanks your videos are excellent!

Your hair is so fine but you have so much of it! It is beautiful! And the majority of people don’t realize that you should blow dry your hair when it is damp because it is in it’s weakest state whenever it is wet. Also, to blow dry it in the way that you actually want to style it :)

I used it for almost 2 months and I loved it at first. I just returned it last week because I’ve noticed my hair become very dry and brittle. I’m going to have to get my haircut this week and get at least 3 to 4 inches cut off of it to make the ends look good again and bring back the thickness.

Just received this from Amazon. Your tutorial is the best. You give information that is most helpful. I tried using it b4 watching u and my hair ended up flat. So glad I found yours. It’s really fast and now I have volume. Thx

Fyi if you are having a hard time getting your hands on this... Hot Tools makes the exact same thing with a hot, warm and cool setting. I was searching everywhere for the Revlon one and it was sold out everywhere. I bought mine at Sally’s.

Tried this tool today and I absolutely love it. I can only use it on the cool setting. Anything else is too hot for me. My hair looks really good after using it. Now if I can just figure out how to make the ends look better, I would be in heaven.

Try a trim....or get a serum or repair mask. More than likely you need a trim

Oh dear lord am I weak....I bought this brush dryer just yesterday from Amazon and it arrived at 5pm this evening......I was in the shower by 5:15 (what took me so long, right? hahaha) afterwards I let my hair air dry for about an hour. Then with much anticipation I gave this gadget a try and MY GOD I thought my arm was going to fall off....hahahahaha. I wasn't making a video but I pretended like I was just so I could set it down....I looked my viewing audience (me) straight in the eye and used 4 letter words to describe my pain but with a smile on my face I grabbed that bad boy and gave it another go......this went on after each section and let me tell you......I never sectioned my hair so much (just because I really needed the break). So, with that said, my final analysis is that I LOVE IT but more importantly I need to join a gym. Thanks for your wonderful videos!!!!

I have this dryer and I’m so glad to see this tutorial from you. I have very fine hair as well and I never use it on the high setting. Like you said, it gets way too hot.
Also, the downside to this is the controls are just about impossible to change with one hand.

I bought one of these last year for my fine thinned out hair and I found it just flattened my hair and made it so staticy. I’ll try with products like yours it is true that the hi setting is way too hot…my ears got heat burn very quickly . Your tips for the top was an eye opener. I’ve never heard that before. Now I wish I didn’t cut my hair last week. Haha! Thanks for the great video.

I have one and I love it but I would highly recommend using earplugs with it, unless you wanna damage your hearing. It's so noisy.

I love this styler but have been using the low setting and finishing with the cool but always was too hot. Never thought of just using the cool setting the entire time! Thanks so much. Can’t wait to try it this way
