So excited to see that revlon came out with a new one. I used the original at my sister’s and it made my fine hair too stick straight. I like more volume. And it was waayyyy too hot. You’re review was great. Def going to buy it! Thank you!! 🥰

i bought the original and like you, found my hair was full and shiny but too straight. I'm returning it for the plus since the barrel is smaller, I'm hoping I can get some curl. Review was great!! Bought both from Amazon, the original as $34, the plus was about $42. Good prices.

My guess is that the reason they made the Plus barrel slightly longer is because it's not as wide as the original. For people like me with lots of hair, the longer the barrel with a smaller diameter, the better because I can still fit a larger section of hair onto it

@TheSpirit AndTheBride thats disappointing to hear, but thanks for sharing! I've been thinking about grabbing one of these for a while. I also have curly wavy hair and it's very thick down to my mid/lower back. I typically use a blow dryer and a barrel brush that's about an inch smaller than either of these barrels but most of the time it's only to touch up I like to let curling creams and hair gel do most of the work. I just hoped that one of these would make the process easier and faster.

I just got my first one and it is he pro. I’m torn between getting the old one and keeping this one just because my hair is so long I feel like the bigger barrel would be better. I’m also thinking the reason why the pro is long is if u look at the bottom of both idk if it’s an air vent or what was added but I did see a lot of ppl complaining abt the old dying out after a few uses maybe to over heating. Hopefully that’s what was added to the bottom to help prevent that 🤞🏼 lol

I like the fact that you can take off the brush head off the new one. It certainly helps, especially for cleaning the brush and washing it throughly.
