- In this video I'll be showing how I wash and maintain the exterior of my Mazda MX-5 including the different techniques and products. I usually wash this car weekly to keep it looking fresh and shiny, so here's the complete process.

Keep up the really good work cant believe i haven’t found this channel earlier
What dilution do you use auto foam at in the snow foam
A gorgeous car and as stunning colour.
The initial use of the pressure washer, in my humble opinion, is something I wouldn't do. I see the risk of scratches increase that way by blasting grit all over the paint. The purpose of the snow foam is to gently release crud from the paint and carry it away. In fact, Auto Foam contains wetting agents to help do this on a dry car. Moving on to the wheels and leaving a wet car would give me serious water spot worries.
Still good to see you're fab results.
Is not soaking the panels first and then moving on to wheels an invitation for water-spotting?
Thanks very much!
Completely agree, I’ve changed quite a few things about my approach since my earlier videos. Now I do the wheels, then pre-wash/ snow foam and then rinse
Good process and well put together video.
I just bought a red rf gt, I will be using some of your tips and tricks
Great choice, hope you enjoy your new car!
Thanks for reminding us that wheels are painted, too! Not sure why people tend to tolerate less safe methods for wheels.
I also rinse my mit between passes and only use one bucket.
For my wheels, I use a small cutting from a microfiber towel which I discard after use (brand new piece every time).
Thanks for watching 😊 I completely agree, there’s no need to be aggressive with them just because they’re wheels! That’s a really good idea, one thing I’ve been using a lot recently is an IK foamer to apply some shampoo to the wheels, I feel like it adds a lot of lubrication and feels safer on really delicate finishes
Thanks for a good video. Can you give more info on "Damp Microfibre" to dry the paintwork - How damp ?, How does it work ?, etc. ? Many thanks
Normally I just dry the windows first and then it’s usually damp enough to use on the paintwork 😊 it should just be very lightly damp
@@AutoCareHQ OK thanks. Never got the hang of dragging the towel over the paintwork so will try this.
Nice video👌
love it.
