So that car that’s been sitting for 2 and a half years just sitting still looks like someone uses it everyday? That dust came off pretty easily when you drove it the things y’all do for content. Great job on the 2001 Miata Special Edition. Don't know if anyone mentioned it to you or not, but someone stole the chrome-plated door sills and swapped them with the original plastic ones. Shame, as the plated ones also had MIATA inscribed into them. . Also someone replaced the motorized antenna mast with the stubby antenna. Again, beautiful job. Back in 2001 I went into my local Mazda dealership and there were two on the showroom floor. A red with tan leather and the BRG Special Edition. They were mistakenly advertised in the local paper as being available at invoice. I should have bought them both, but RED is my favorite color, so I left with that one. Plus I only had a two-car garage with another car at home. I have taken good care of my 2001 and it still looks great and virtually looks new inside and out with about 110,000 miles on it. Take good care of your beauty!

Well Foster, once again, you have proven you are a man with many talents. You sang to us, which was a first, and then you drove down the road with the dirty car, leaving a large cloud of dust behind you as you drove. Me and wife got a big laugh from that. It reminded me of Pig Pen from the Peanuts cartoon. There was a cloud of dust behind that poor guy everywhere he went. That was an amazing transformation. Not your typical disaster detail, just a very dirty and neglected car. The color of the car was gorgeous, and the end results were fantastic. I'm not a huge Miata fan, but this was a nice car. Dust protects paint over the long term, so if a car has protection on it already, the dust “preserves” the paint and the product on it in a sense because it’s no longer exposed directly. Engine bay cleaning question. On a 2016 chevy cruze, is there anything i should be concerned with covering to protect before cleaning it?

No, I had one also, I believe the air filter is boxed in so you’d be good to go. That’s the only real thing you need to cover when doing a engine detail

@@Billyhime thanks man. Is it a good idea to remove the battery?

@@shankman2k12 nah you should be good. If I remember right it’s got cover over the connectors. I did my Nissans engine last night and it has no cover and I didn’t change anything. Works fine

Does it matter let the battery on or off when you take car seats out?
