    When the interior of your car gets to the point where it's infested with roaches, maggots or ants, it's time to re-evaluate your priorities and habits. Great transformation. I hope the owner keeps it that way....for a while at least.

    You can try NaOH on most stubborn stains. Recently I made few experiments on cotton and this is what I have got:
    NaOH will eat every dye and paint you would give them. I had a few "workshop" black pants, with massive white paint stains. Pants was in jar with 10% NaOH for a few days (because I'm lazy, NaOH don't need much time to work). All paint was dissolve, additionaly some original dye go to solution. I washed pants from NaOH throughly, paint was completly gone and black pants wasn't be any less black. After all of that, you can even filter out participated paint and reuse NaOH later. Tell me if you actually try it ;)

      What dilution ratio would you recommend for fender liners tires and motor? I’m really interested in trying this out! Do you think also by using an electric power washer since it’s less pressure it won’t be clean compared to using a gas powered one which topically have more psi then a lower priced electric one.

    • @cglenn1457
      @cglenn1457 2 года назад +1

      @@EseGavino7 My vehicle had an embarrassing amount of break dust because I never really knew to focus on my wheels. I've always kept the inside of my vehicles immaculate and didn't realize brush-less car washes didn't do enough for the outside until I got into detailing during COVID. I bought MAD Xtream APC, and it is, by far, one of my favorite cleaning purchases of any kind. My wheels were nasty. I diluted it 5:1 and used a regular garden hose set on spray mode, and it only took me 2 times to make my wheels and liners 100% clean. I did use a spoke brush for the wheels, but didn't need anything else for the liners. I also used the same ratio for my engine bay, again, using a garden hose, and it only took 1 time, spraying it with water, then the APC, then letting it soak for 30-45 seconds and then rinsing off.

    Bug bombs are about all you can use short of calling in an exterminator but they have a serious handicap: they work mostly by gravity. That means they don't get under things. Even a piece of tape or a wire can save a bug's life, never mind a piece of trim or a fastener hole.
    I keep hoping for a death ray that makes them instantly explode. Better than a bug zapper.

    Never understood how you get roaches in your car 🤢

    • @jessicah3450
      @jessicah3450 2 года назад

      I'm guessing the owners bring them in the car from their house (in baggage and such) or when the car's parked outside and full of spilled food and trash the roaches move in.

    I didn't know you could apply pressure water directly to the engine. What about the air intake? Shouldn't you protect it? If water reaches a cylinder it could be a big problem. IMHO

    I own and drive a 17 year old Ford Taurus, and by no means do I EVER let it get dirty inside! Yes, it needs detailing---I've been sick with COVID twice since November 2020, plus am now 69 y.o., with various health issues---but it would take an even an inexperienced detailer only about an hour altogether, MAYBE, to do the interior. There's no trash except what little is in the small trash bag I keep inside, and then the things I feel I need to always have in the car are kept inside a clear plastic bin with a locking lid so it doesn't pop open. In that bin, there's only a few masks, "just in case" (MO has no mask mandates, but very rarely some businesses will demand they be worn), a roll of paper towels, and a box of tissues. That's it, no food, no weird items, no wrappers, no roaches, no anything that shouldn't be in a vehicle! My apartment is also clean, because that's the normal way to live!

    I hate roaches, I would have set the car on fire.
    Hopefully they did not track the roaches into the house especially since roaches can make you sick

    I know the car was horrible looking but you cant base how the person is just by what you see their car look like. You can have someone have a perfectly clean car and have a trashed house. Also you dont know if the person has been going through hardships or just having to work more than anything and didnt have the free time to get the car cleaned. A lot of things can cause even the best cars to slip into a filthy look. I applaud the person who owns this car for getting it cleaned by this guy and I applaud him for doing it for free. Lets stop judging people by a single aspect and just be there for each other to help, not ridicule.

    If I was hair dye go to Sally’s and get 20 vol developer. Hair color removes color normally. So pretty much any pink should work.

  • @leeinatl8295

    You need to use Raid Max No Mess Dry Fogger for a vehicle like that. It’s a dry smoke that will penetrate deeper that an aerosol fogger. It comes in a 3 pack and has a canister that you drop in to a cup that you add a small amount of water to & it creates a chemical reaction that produces the fog.
