If you have a Sony HT-A9, HT-A7000, HT-A5000, HT-A3000, or HT-S2000 sound bar, you need this subwoofer. I have the HT-A7000 sound bar. Bought it last year and was very happy with it. It produces great sound, has all the functionality I needed, and produces pretty decent bass sound. When I saw an open box special buy on this unit, I decided to get it. The reason was mainly because it was from Best Buys and from my experience, Best Buys sometimes mark items as "open box" even though they seem new. Check out the unboxing video and see for yourself if this is a new or use item :).
After the unboxing, I was blown away on the sound. It definitely compliments the sound bar when it comes to listening to music and watching movies, especially Dolby Atmos movies. Unfortunately I can't really demonstrate the sound to you guys since I'm shooting this on my iPhone but the sound is fantastic. The bass is deep and rich and it totally brings your home theater experience to the next level with the sound bar. I'm surprised how well it sounds with just a sound bar and a subwoofer.
