    I dont know how they can call it Atmos at all, when its 3.1 or 2.1 and has no up firing speakers!
    When he says "its better than just a TV" was it meant as damning with faint praise?

    I returned the Sony I found the sound muffled and muted without many options to tweak.

    Sony S2000 is unreal. Best value for money soundbar for the last 2 years.

    Got my eye on the Sony but torn between it and the Bose 600

      Sound quality wise they are comparable with a slightly different feel. Bose is going to be warmer and potentially moodier for films, while Sony has better instrument separation and clarity. I went with Sony because it's a very simple bar. I didn't want to deal with the software problems of Bose but especially Sonos.

      As soon as he mentioned dialogue you knew it. With Nolan it's best to bury the dialogue into the soundtrack.
