This is likely going to be the go-to bar in 2023 for consumers that don't want to start off with a subwoofer on their initial soundbar purchase. You can later add on the Sony SA-RS3S wireless rears for around $300 if you want or either of Sony's two wireless subs. The 200w SA-SW3 sub for around $350 or the larger 300w SA-SW5 for around $600. All of those options will wirelessly pair to the bar as soon as you power them up. Sony has really knocked it out of the park with the new X-Balanced speakers that they are using as the drivers inside of their new soundbars. The sound quality on them is just remarkable, no matter what you are using them for or what you are listening to. Note here that this bar does not work with the larger SA-RS5 wireless rears that have the ability to run on battery for up to ten hours and there is no support for Sony's new 360 Reality Audo format on this bar. To get those features and options, you'll need to step up to the slightly more expensive Sony A3000 soundbar. This bar is shaping up to likely be the best bar you can buy at the $500 price point for 2023.
Great video, Rodney! I was checking the Sony HT-X8500, but I'm considering moving to this model now. One question: does that LED on the front always stay on?
Really random question. I have the soundboks go and Im thinking about buying the soundboks 3. Would you consider it worth doing so? 😀 Love your content btw
Hello. The question is for you - you tested the Sony HT-S2000 and JBL BAR 300 soundbars. Write which one has bigger bass, high frequencies and which one sounds louder? Thank you.
Really honest review, i really enjoyed it dude, but i have a question, does someone knows if this soundbar is already good enough to compare with a onyx studio 4 or a xtreme 3? I have both speakers and im searching for a soundbar that sounds better than those two models, and with this soundbar i may still aiming low

What about stereo separation ?
How does this compare to the Sony hta3000
A3000 is bigger and better
This is More of A Complete Product and Best Value For Money. For A3000 You Need A Separate Subwoofer For Sure!!
Excellent Sony sound bar
Better base than the JBL multibeam 5.0?

You can change the led behavior in the app. 👌
Love it❤
Sounds like it’s got some great features but have read that this soundbar downmixes surround sound to stereo. Thoughts??
Is it worth paying twice the price of a JBL multibeam 5.0 ?
Are you going to review The Sonos Era 100 and Era 300?
Got this from costco to go with my new sony bravia A80L oled tv,very impressed especially playing video games 😊
Can the soundbar also be used with the same tv remote control, for example loud and quiet?
yes using sony interface

This One is With The Same Class of Bose 600 and Far Better Than 300.

do you use it for your pc?
Just saw this for $300! I have a jbl soundbar with a subwoofer the size of a small dog cage -_- This one would definitely save space
How would you compare this to the Bose 600?
I'd really like to know that as well. Bose 600 is at the top of my list.
sonos beam gen 2 vs bose 600 vs s2000 😁
Sonos … for the novelty factor
More of talking, rather then live audio test 👎👎👎👎
