Turned out great. I do a similar method. I do the bulk in Blender, send to NS to remesh higher and sculpt (potato PC), clean up, then send to Blender to finalize for print. I don't worry about topology though since they are not going to be used for anything but physical miniatures.
I’d like to be able to use valence 3D for the hard surface and more low poly things! I’m getting a little better at modeling in blender, but I always just want more of an organic touch. I’m also looking forward to getting back into 3D printing!
Check the bottom of the tools window, should be there (icon should prompt the in-app purchase) 👍🏾 -dang can’t believe I didn’t show where it was in the tool window! Oops!
I tried it a while back, but I couldn't really give a good account since I didn't know what I was doing. I may give it a whirl again! I will say, the quad remeshed version of this little guy seemed to do much better in blender (I believe...always hard to tell with so many elements in blender, but the animation seemed to render a lot faster!)
@@drugfreedave Thanks for your reply. I wish there’s a robust renderer on IPad (that’s not subscription based). Your channel is great btw, keep if going 👍
Oof that works so delightful, it's definitely worth its money
Yes, I’m pretty sure the animation rendered better in blender too! 💯
@drugfreedave: If you disable mirroring in the main application, the mirroring will be off my default for the Quad Remesher tool.
Ah interesting, thanks for the info!👍🏾

Good video as always! Where we can find that function? I can't see it on my app V1.90.
its a paid feature but well worth it

That looks like it could be very useful! Do you need good topology models for 3D printing purposes or is this more for animations?
3D printing no, i'll mostly use it for my small time animations: just keeps the models cleaner and lighter
Brilliant! Did you have a chance to test Octane on iPad any more?

Kelvin, Are you using Android because no Quad remesher for ANDROID only ios!
Ah that’s right, I have to remember to mention that when people ask!
@@drugfreedave Ty for all that you give! YOU INSPIRE ME. I learn so much from you dude x
Can you do a video of your settings
Which settings? Things are pretty much stock, if I change anything I include it in the videos!
@@drugfreedave like your gesture settings or interface settings also how do you change your grid color?
I cant find this feature
It is money
Check the tool window on the right, it should be an icon that prompts the purchase pop-up!
iOS only for now
