Man this synth is incredible! Over 10 years I have owned mine and have barely even delved into any of the wave tables as I've always got so much satisfaction out of the basic level stuff like the arp, arp to matrix for modulation stuff and LFOs all just on basic saw waves for the most part. I've always found all the Wavetable, Wave PWM, Grain Simple, Grain Complex etc etc all so intimidating and foreign. Would love to see more content going through sound design with the Virus using these menus. Thanks heaps for sharing bro
Formant and Grain complex etc is the reason for getting the Virus hahaha, or not that only ofc but it's what actually is pretty damn unique which you can't get from any other synth afaik. Also the FM is amazing
really like the Sound, nice work! was About to set up this patch Right away but i was really confused About the A4 key you are playing with the Init patch as mine sounds totally different.. is there anything About the transpose range etc you might have changed before? when i Play that note on init patch it Sound like 2 octaves higher on my Virus :/
@@Sacredriver1008 thx for the reply. where is the semi pitch done? in virus control or daw? im on ableton so i have no idea what the settings in fl studio might be in the video.. when the vst is shown first time in the video the semitone pitch on osc is on default position if you know what i mean.

This "vst" is not like a synth himself, its just to control your Virus Ti (hardware) smoothly! Without a Virus ti (hardware) the software will not work!
It don't work like that in Serum cause the "Grain Complex" is missing! You can try in serum to add a Formant Filter but the results are very different :-) maybe try Rayblaster from Tone2 aswell, seems like there is a great formant inside! ;-)
1. Select a nice WT (there is a pack of Virus TI WTs resampled for Serum floating around the internet, so you may download it and use the exact WT from this video). 2. Use some of the "Sync" modes for Warp, whichever sounds best (full window, 1/2 window etc). 3. Assign "chaos" as a mod sourse to Warp. 4. Sync Chaos to 1/16. Here you have the base sound of the oscillator, then you can apply the filter, effects, gate etc as you like. Won't sound exactly the same but close.

Yes in realtime =) when i worked in FL Studio a few years back, i‘ve used ‚Edison‘ from FL Studio on the Mixer Channel to record in realtime 😊

@@djanthonyrap8222 you need the hardware of this synth. Like ti snow or ti2 desktop :) otherwise you're not able to work with the software ;)
