❤️ thanks 🙏
@@Reg-Editwatching again and I'm noticing I never used multi. I press both multi and single and I use that mode.
@audiolego no you just press multi if you want to use, multi or press single if you want to use it as a single instrument
yes!
My man can you make custom arps/ sequences on the hardware without the software?
Unfortunately not
User ARP is constructed in VC control
I’ve heard of an app called mystery islands which is meant to be very good not sure if it works on the user ARP 🤔
@Reg Edit once made on the software can it be saved to the user arp part though and stay on the unit if software is not connected?
@@chriscrowder3844 yes
how does the surround sound work? is that what the 6 outputs are for
No mate
It doesn’t have surround sound
They are the individual outputs for the individual parts, when using the multi
Use an LFO to modulate Panorama
Just found your channel. Great work thanks. I have the. Virus which is a keeper but lust after the Rev 2..
Would they compliment each other or are they too similar. Cheers.
Hey thanks for watching 🙏
Rev 2 is very capable
16 voice .. but if you have virus
You can make same sounds as rev 2
But you have full control on rev 2 as all knobs are there ..
Recommend sub 37 mono leads and bass
Or notation peak instead of rev 2 it’s cheaper and sounds great
@@Reg-Edit thank you Reg. I’ll swerve the Rev 2. The virus ticks most boxes.
@@LesterAmbientAndroid virus does it all very well man save your money and just make music 🙏❤️
@@Reg-Edit wise words my friend.
Hey mate, how you feeling?
Hey mate 🖐
Brain still crazy man
One more year I should be better 🤞🏻😩
@@Reg-Edit Good Luck!
Bad Thing about the Virus ..
You do Not need another synth...
Hey how r you? can help to program a midi keyboard m-audio keystation 61 a virus desktop. I would like to know what I needed to do on both devices.
You need a DAW to use USB with the virus
Better to use a midi keyboard
@@Reg-Edit ok and with out daw.... it's possible?
@@benarp3921 you need a midi cable
I don’t think Maudio has midi
So get a keyboard with a midi out 👌
yes it has midi output
@@benarp3921 then plug midi out into the midi in on virus
In single mode
Make sure the media channels match
Can I use some of the tracks on my 707 to play different patches at once?
Yes
You can play 8 tracks from 707
Just use multi mode in virus and set each midi channel for each one
@Reg Edit brilliant news !!!!! Shame I can't get the different sounds onto different channels of the mc though
@@chriscrowder3844 you can use external inputs on mc707
in mono
That will give you two tracks from the virus on the MC707
In mono
Using separate outputs on virus
Just add reverb to make them Stereo
@Reg Edit do you think it's wasting the full sound going as mono though? If you think it won't degrade the sound to much. I have a hydrasynth and the virus (on the way) I could run them either mono into the mc707 or run them both into my mx1 and have that going into the mc707 but that fills my desk so much. Do you think mono will be OK?
@Reg Edit thanks dude I'll be recording into a daw at some point so I can add some stereo to the sounds in the daw so mono should be OK.......that's good news I can do away with the mixer now!! Where so I get the plugin for the virus as you need that don't you to do some offbeat arp work?
So, nobody is expert enough to explain to us how can we set the TEMPO for the arpeggiator..
Use this button to change the Clock rate “by ear”. Select the program ROM-A9 (“Boingy HS”) and activate the HOLD function (SHIFT + ARP ON). Play some notes on your keyboard, then try tapping the TAP button slower than the current BPM - the arpeggio will be slowed dow
@@Reg-Edit Don't sweat it, I already contacted Access. It took them about 8 hours to answer, but they did and they said " in the main EDIT menu left of the display, so push this EDIT button and then use the PARAMETER buttons right of the display yo switch between menus. You will find the TEMPO parameter there"
@@thejollyjoker187 you can just tap the tap tempo button mate
Make sure it says internal sync as otherwise it will sync incoming midi
@@Reg-Edit I know, but tap tempo is not accurate. It's strange though, that they did NOT include the tempo parameter in the arpeggiator settings, very confusing.
Yes you can get more precise with the dial, but if I tap quarter notes it works, I tend to use external SYNC anyway
So technically, I was expert enough to explain how to set the tempo 😂🙏 you’re welcome 😂
