I live in a part of the US which has very little water and what we do have is fiercely guarded. So, these swamplands are a revelation. Good to see back. Your channel was invaluable for planning our honeymoon in New Orleans. We took in a swamp tour as part of that and it was brilliant. We went for one of midsized boat options, max capacity of 8 (I think), and could get into some of the areas inaccessible to the larger boats. Very fond memories of the day.

How is the weather and nature in New Orleans and Louisiana in November in general? Looking to do a trip in November to get away from the dark and depressing feeling of my home country and swap it with something warmer and more colorful. Never been to the US before and will be traveling solo so trying to find an interesting and social place to visit for my first visit that at the same time feels quite secure. Saltwater intrusion is a recurring problem in New Orleans. At the moment they're still safe, but the situation is being monitored.

We took in a swamp tour as part of that and it was brilliant. We went for one of midsized boat options, max capacity of 8 (I think), and could get into some of the areas inaccessible to the larger boats.

How is the weather and nature in New Orleans and Louisiana in November in general?
Looking to do a trip in November to get away from the dark and depressing feeling of my home country and swap it with something warmer and more colorful.
Never been to the US before and will be traveling solo so trying to find an interesting and social place to visit for my first visit that at the same time feels quite secure.
