The area where the "Wishing Tree" is, it's called Maple Slough. It used to be my favorite location to canoe until the tour boats started going in there - just killed the peace. But, it's for everyone to enjoy, so I'm not insinuating that the tour boats stop going there - just stating the fact that it used to be my favorite place to canoe due to the peace and beauty of that area. I was always fascinated by that tree, for it truly stands out from all the rest. I photographed it numerous times with different positions of the light. Oh, feeding the gators isn't cool.
I was fishing in a flatboat with my uncle about 15 yeas ago.when out of nowhere comes one of these swamp tours, telling everyone to pay attention to the Grand titon mamou on the right, explaining that they wee native american mounds.I could not believe they were all taking pics of a spoil bank created by the army corps of engineers.
Hello, who can help me with a three day itinerary. Want to do some kayaking of the swamps, but need a place to camp that’s in the middle of it all. New Orleans, Manchac swamps. Any advice? We have our own kayaks so do not need a tour guide.
Question. Can one just rent a Jetski and go deep down into the swamp? In the rare case that Jetski Would Brake down. What would someone do? Swim to shore ? Or is that too dangerous?
I don't know if it was a joke but I'm going to take it serious😅 I wouldn't rent a Jet Ski rent a small flat bottom boat one that generally has an engine and comes with paddles 👍🏻
People should buy my "Impact" a James Grider novel on Amazon so I could potentially live there. James Grider could kill a gator by spawning the Wykkdik of Fhekris into its mouth or body, squishing it's internal organs aside. He can also stick his empty hand into the gator's mouth and pop the Wykkdik into existence to fill its mouth as it bites down, saving his hand. He could spawn the Wykkdik through that boat's bottom real quick and vanishing, busting a hole through it.
You would have a lot more views if you gave the footage to a professional so that they would split the audio and video and edit it. You could have Nat Geo Qaulity with the same footage and it wouldn’t cost that much. Just saying.
I was enjoying this video, until he started feeding the gator hot dogs! You are setting a VERY VERY bad example for everyone visiting your state. It is not ok to habituate wildlife to humans. There are gators everywhere for viewing!!! For the life of me, I cannot understand why this company feels the need to do this. This is exactly how people die and get injured by alligators. Please teach the visitors who come to Louisiana how to be a responsible stewards of the land.
I’ve always been fascinated with swamps and bayous. Not sure why. I love the sounds of the frogs and crickets at night.
me too, i just love them and idk why
14:30 ~ the fireflies he speaks of, i would love to see them twinkling above that water & among those cypresses!

and yet you pay to go to the zoo or pay money for kids to go to the zoo... so much hypocrisy.
@@sweetsendaedreamr You dreaming or hearing voices? Literally speaking about the peace of the swamp, no one is talking about a zoo.
@@kellikirkpatrick801 He meant the last sentence of OP's message, when he said "feeding the gators isn't cool".
Amazing Awesome video --Thankyou ❤
Glad you liked it!

D Benoit your lucky I always wanted to go to the swamps with my boots and walking around on the soft mud parts
This video makes me wish I was in Dixie.
I live in the swamps born and raised i swim in the waters hunt fish and everything but if ur a tor guide dont fucking feed them infront of tourists
You are sooo lucky I’ve always had a fascination towards swamps I dont know why
Does feeding the animals destroy their ability to forage on their own?
Na just a quick free snack in their eyes.
Video is good, however, a smoother camera movement would be appreciated
Thank you for video 🤗
Shrek just entered the chat.
In Poland, in swamps we have stupid turtles and maybe a duck.... Poland does not have so nice swamps like u guys in USA in Florida and Louisiana ....

Alligators are SMART creatures! They outlived the dinosaurs, and they will probably outlive us!...
This animal have a stupidly acidic stomach, probably hotdogs are just snacks for him.
