In every other test I agree... in this one, all that nonsense is unnecessary. Sweet baby rays would still win, and probably by an even bigger margin to be honest.

No labels would make it strictly by taste and not packaging or being partial to a certain brand. I agree!!!

Stubb's is a classic Texas style barbecue sauce. It's outstanding on beef, pretty good on chicken, not so much on pork. It's one of my go-to sauces when I'm cooking brisket or beef ribs.
I think Stubbs has a sauce for pork
Stubb's Spicy is my go-to BBQ sauce.
Never had it but it was interesting how they placed it ahead of Bull's eye a sauce I like and then dumped on it in the next round.
it makes sense that it wasn't really "sweet" as Rhett said if it's a Texas-style
i feel like i never saw it in the grocery stores where i live (in Wisconsin) until about 6-7 years ago

You guys need to be judging these sauces without knowing the manufacturer.

I also think they should be cleansing their palate between each one. Maybe the taste took a "weird turn" because it was interacting with other sauces they had already tasted.
Agreed, blind taste tests are the only way to fairly judge.
In their defense, these two gentlemen are actually BBQ experts due to their NC roots. I think it's part of the birth certificate, honestly.

Been using Sweet Baby Ray`s for years... I have tried a lot of other sauces and I still end up with SBR in my fridge.

There needs to be a palate cleanser between each one. You're getting all the flavors mixed up.
I'm sure they are cleansing their palate. They've shown it in the past, and each round gets cut into the video. Otherwise you'd see them removing previous dishes and bringing the new ones in.

I tweeted this, but I already asked the mythical beasts which sauce was the best for me to buy 2 years ago on your bbq snack taste test episode and majority of the replies were sweet baby ray's and my life was changed forever. It was a credible sauce.

You should do regional bbq sauce style taste test, like Carolina style, Texas style, georgia style, etc.
