There is a crazy amount of pieces of heart pieces in this game, probably the biggest amount in the entire franchise. Thks 4 the guide bro im playing for the 2nd time now on my Nintendo switch and I forgot a location of 1 misery heart piece and it was driving crazy. Then I realized I forgot to combine kingstone with 1 bro ages ago on a forgotten house in eastern wood. Very tiring to watch almost the 44 other location all over again but very satisfying knowing I will complete the game another time but this time it will be finally 100%
You got this! Minish Cap might be the most random Zelda game in terms of heart piece collection, with its rng in certain kinstone fusions. make sure you fuse kinstones with the wind tribe guy in the town market before going to the clouds!

This seems to be a common problem, I think it may be caused by a glitch. If fusing all four elements to the sword doesn't work, one player had to beat Vaati, essentially beat the game, to fuse kinstones with the minish in the house. It does kind of defeat the purpose of the heart piece, but at lease at that point you can get the mirror shield from Biggorn as well.
Wow....the ones I've been missing are the ones like the one in Lake Hylia by diving, hitting the bell in Hyrule Town etc....like how the heck was I supposed to know that lol. Thanks for the guide and last whole heart!
Hello! Quite a few people had this issue as well. I'd say continue the story as much as you can to trigger more fusions, but a few people have stated they got all the way up to fighting Vaati and the fusions still didn't show. This might be really annoying to do, but if you still can't fuse with the Minish after reaching Vaati, someone said they ended up beating the game, going back and the fusion was available. It might be a development bug. This can be a bummer especially since the game is already beat, but if you have the full powered four sword and you still can't fuse, you may have to beat it, then load save and load it to get the heart piece, and you can get the mirror shield at that point and beat it again. I hope this helps

How far along are you in the main story? Sometimes you have to progress in the game's story to open up the ability to fuse with certain characters. I waited to fuse with this Minish until after I beat the Palace of the Winds, right before beating the final dungeon.

Hm very interesting. I did some digging and found that the EU versions of the game don't have the shallow water to get the heart piece. It seems you can only get it once you obtain the Roc's cape and use it to jump the gap from the bridge to the heart piece. I've only played the NA version of this game so I was not aware of these weird regional differences of the game. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I'll make note of it in my description. I'm sorry for the confusion the guide may have given you.

Oof that sounds rough. I read that the first time reentering town after the Deepwood Shrine, it may be possible to miss the heart piece from the hurdy-gurdy kinstone fusion. That's the one that opens up the tree southeast from your house. I'm not sure how true that is though.
You should still be able to get it. You'll just have to line up the extra Link either in front or behind one of the Link clones and be careful walking through the openings.
There are notorious bugs in Minish Cap, especially in the EU/PAL versions. People have ran into missing heart pieces before. I think they stemmed from the Kinstone fusion with a Minish in Northeast Minish Village, the one you have to swim to. Some people had to beat the game entirely, then load up the save file. This allowed them to fuse kinstone pieces with this Minish and unlock their final heart piece. It does stink you have to beat the game sometimes to overcome this bug, but you could also pick up the Mirror Shield while doing it, which might be worth doing it and beating the game again with a full set of upgraded equipment.
I play with Retroachievements, so this is a Savefile I play where I have beaten the game and all Kinstones connected. So I already fused with that Minish. Still I can't find this Heart Piece. I thought it was the Simon's Simulation Minigame, but it does not give me anything other than Rupees or Fragments. Really Frustrating because I don't know what I can still do about it.@@thelostwoods247

@@ravyn1320 I'm sorry to hear that :( I've noticed this Zelda game can be a little glitchy and also punishing if you don't fuse Kinstones with certain characters in time, or don't have the correct piece when trying to fuse. A glitch prevents one of the farmers, part of the Goron sidequest, from fusing kinstones if you don't have the correct piece upon first try. It won't allow you to try to fuse with him again. It may only be for certain regional game versions. And there are differences between the games pending on the region you bought yours in, whether its NTSC or PAL. This Zelda game more than any other one is very glitchy
Yeah it's annoying. What I ended up doing was buying the picolyte to spawn more rupees, then buying mysterious shells from the shop. There's picolyte for finding mysterious shells as well, but I think the rupee picolyte was more effective for getting shells.
I can't get the minish in the lake house to fuse with me. Story-wise, I've gotten the wind element and I'm ready to make the four sword and I've also fused with Librari. What am I doing wrong?
Is this the house in Minish Village? Someone else had trouble fusing with that Minish as well. I'd say fuse the last element to the sword and try the kinstone fusion again

@@ZeZoficeZaire You have to fuse kinstones with that Minish three times. Try leaving the house and entering again. That should allow you to continue to fuse with him
The town npc who opens up the fountain is random. I happened to find him as one of the carpenters. The random town npc will want to fuse red kinstones together. You'll have to check with each towns member who wants to fuse a red kinstone piece. I forget what the little thought bubble will look like before fusing, it might be a heart or a question mark. This game randomizes a lot of the kinstone fusions upon starting a new file. Just keep checking with all the townsfolk and you'll be sure to find the correct red kinstone fusion to open up that fountain in the castle gardens.
It's a random towns person. This game randomizes some kinstone fusions. You'll have to check for a red kinstone fusion possibility with every towns person (maybe even an animal while minish sized), until you find the right one to open the fountain.
Hm, talk to him to advance further in the story. If that doesn't work, I'd suggest trying to come back later in the game, possibly after beating the Temple of Droplets. His fusion should be accessible once you get the ocarina, but this game is known to have a lot of issues.

If your having problems with the electric orb enemies, use boomerang on them, it kills them in one hit and gives a fairy each time

No.25 in the fountain, I still can't get it. I have the flippers but there's no shallow water for me to get out of the water on the other side :(
