Everyone - here’s a tip for you: the template for the clamp hoop comes from the manufacturer with a frosted film that needs to be peeled off before use. It is pretty stuck on there so don’t be afraid to get it going from one of the corners. At first I thought my template was defective as there was no note on the box or in the booklet about the film… I bought my hoop last week and went back to my local dealer, they opened another box and figured it out that this film is intentional and needs to be removed. Hope this helps you out!

Jeff, 8 purchased the 8.5 X 8.5 Clamp hoop, only to find out it will not calibrate my 830E or B780, when with update be available

The update is being tested and should be released in the fall of 2023 it is a very involved process to do an update and make sure it works.

If you hoop a quilt sandwich and Then Calibrate the hoop as BERNINA shows, there is no template slippage and No Need for the tape foolishness
