Love foot 18, I recently converted 50 dress shirts to button down collars, with the button foot it was easy to sew on the tiny collar buttons. I did have a problem with auto buttonholes on my 720, ended up doing them manually as the 1st leg of the buttonhole kept sewing forward. I tried cleaning the sensors & the bobbin area of threads but nothing helped.

My Daylight died a few weeks ago. I could not find this on Shopify! I hope it has not been sold out! Thank you, Jeff, for all the the good videos you put out!

Thank you for the helpful information! Question for you…I have a Bernina 640. It was skipping stitches and the upper thread was shredding. My dealer serviced it and said it was fine until about 35 min into an embroidery sample when they said the check spring broke. They are telling me because of this I have to pay for a new the top tension unit to be replaced. Can the check spring not be replaced individually?

Is the LED ruler available for purchase? I would love to have one since my sight is not the best.

Dear Bernina Jeff, Thank you so much for this video. Much more in depth info about oiling my beloved Bernina than was in the manual (now missing that page) or marked with red inside my machine. She is my daily driver, and I have owned her since my parents and grandparents gave her to me for a combined birthday and Christmas when I was about 15 years old...50 years ago. She and I have many miles, many garments, many curtains, pillows, cushion covers and tablecloths between us, and now she's my partner in quilting. I think of my dear Nana and the creative spirit she nurtured in me every time I sit down to sew. I love her so much that when I wanted an "inexpensive" machine for my cabin, I bought one used and had it repaired. I want to keep them in good shape for years to come...one for each granddaughter!

I have one! Purchased used in 1982. Sadly I dropped it so the only plastic on the whole machine broke and my dealer says it cannot be replaced. Now it's duct taped The straight and Zigzag stitches are beautiful but the decorative stitches aren't working but you may have shed some light on a fix...I put it away and replaced it with a 590. I just pulled it out again and it works after sitting for 4 years! Put oil where I thought it should go, but missed a bunch. My manual only said to oil the bobbin case. Hmmm. I will be doing all the things you suggested. Thank you so much for this, and ALL your videos...BTW, my dealer finally started carrying some of the things you sell online😂like the custom knob covers and feet holders. I'm still going to order from you.

Hi Bernina Jeff! I have a Tula Pink 770 QE. When attempting to embroider I change the stitch plate (to the 0 mm/Cut) and the presser foot to the 26 foot. When I attempt to embroider, I get an error message which is a picture of the stitch plate and presser foot. It appears my machine is not recognizing the 0 mm/Cut Stitch Plate (my machine does not show "0 mm/Cut" it only shows the "Cut" stitch plate) AND/OR the 26 presser foot. After discovering the issue I updated my machine to ensure I had the most recent firmware update - This however, did NOT fix the issue with the stitch plate (only saying "Cut" and not the "0 mm/Cut" like you talked about and showed in video, nor did it fix the issue with the presser foot AND it will not allow me to move past this in order to embroider. Any assistance you can provide?

My friend came over with her 770 SE and her Michale has an error when she goes to embroider. She says she has the right foot, she has the cut plate on but her machine only has cut and not the 0mm or 0mm/cut option. Her error shows the foot and plate but nothing else. Are we missing something? He can move on to embroider.

I could figure out why it was telling me to oil it when I’d just cleaned and oiled it ~30 minutes prior…can you update when you last oiled it?

Please make table tray supports for the Bernina 440 and the Bernina 550. Please!!!

I recently purchased the table support for the tray table for my Bernina 440. It will not fit my 440 table nor my 550 table, both need support. Will you be having one made for those machines at some point? I sure do need 2 of them!

I like the percentage to get ready for a service visit.

Dear Jeff, my bobbin winder is suddenly making loosely spun tangled bobbins. Can you help?

My 740 won't let me change the foot on the monitor. I know to scroll and find the foot I am changing to, but a message comes up telling me what that foot does. It won't let me choose it. I hope that makes sense. Also, I have some feet that are not in the list of feet to choose. How to I fix those 2 issues -- if you know. Thanks a bunch.

I just unhooked mine on my 200 artista . Today I am getting an error message that is keeping my embroidery from starting .. “ please move the needle to top position “ I cannot figure out if this is a needle bar problem or a motherboard issue? Help !

I always look forward to your tutorials. I'm confused about the oiling. I oil the top blade as you showed us in a previous video but if I do that do I also oil the bobbin casing as well or just look at the bobbin case occasionally to make sure it's not dry. Thank you for sharing all your knowledge.
