You’re amazing Jeff. I am ordering this . I couldn’t believe when that little piece you mentioned did break off of my tray. For the price we pay for our machines you’d think the trays would be built a bit more stable.
Hi Jeff- I love your videos. They have helped me so much since my local Bernina dealer closed during Covid. Anyways - I have an issue I haven’t seen you address yet. The thread keeps coming out of the thread guide by the needle (in front of the needle bar at the top of the needle). When it does this and I don’t catch it the thread seems to lose tension there and then breaks (looks frayed like it was rubbing on something). Can that guide be fixed or replaced?
That guide can get bent outward a bit that causes the thread to come out. I have tried to reshape the metal parts with no luck. I would have that part replaced next service. Call ahead and make sure they order the part
Hi Jeff, I have a different question of a problem I have..the last thread guide that you thread before using the needle threader has a piece that broke off ... it's just a small metal guide there and my ? Is.. are there replacements parts for that piece and can I install it myself? Please help!! PS.. I love my threader!!
I took my 740 for cleaning and when it came back my tray was chipped! This will help! Once again, you hit it on the nail. Thanks Jeff
Added this video in my groups. Your the best

They have fixed that with the 790 Pro
Another winner video, thanks again Jeff! ❤️
I need the foot holder and the tray support!

I believe you will need to see a dealer for that fix
I love this piece for my extension table. But mine doesn’t click in on the 3rd rib. It’s still usable but any tips how to get it to click and stay on?
Some fuzzy side Velcro stick on to fill up space
It would be nice to see this/similar design on Thingiverse as well.
I have a 480 that has the clear tray which is more flimsy that the others. Will it work for that model? Thank you! Love your videos!
We are working on tray supports for that model. Keep watching
I have a slant sewing table, will it work with it?
Clever fix...do you have a patent on that piece?
Even with a patent China copies it anyway and there is no recourse with them.
Can you use it with the embroidery module on?
Not with a module it will be stable already
I tried it on my 790 pro and I can’t seem to get it to fit on the tray.
Will the leg support the table on a Bernina 570?
I just tested a prototype they will be on a video soon.
Such a shame that it is not shipped worldwide😢
I wish shipping and red tape was easy
I always worried about exactly this lack of extension support when I took my 200 to classes (back in the day)!
Can this go on the 790 plus?
Yes it will git
My husband made me a wooden support after my tray started chipping.
