I have always owned a Bernina as an adult. I had the domestic/ industrial, then an 830 and now the 770. I have a portable machine from another company. It’s the difference between driving my small economy car and getting a ride in a friends luxury vehicle. I 💕 Bernina machines.
I just got my stitch regulator table and attachment hardware. Can’t wait to try it out! Thanks for the video that shows exactly how to install it-the direction sheet wasn’t very clear!
Hello! I hope you had a fabulous day. I just got done supper and sitting to watch your video. I always find your videos interesting and enjoyable. Thank you for posting your video and for your time.
Incredible! That was the one thing I was really frustrated about. I was trying to use a ruler with the stitch regulator, and it was just awkward and didn't work from all sides, and was more frustrating than anything. This is such a genius invention!
Would you please do a you tube on all the perks of the upgrade on the 770 that makes it a plus? I would sincerely appreciate it. Thank you so much for this post..love all you do❤️
Any chance you might partner with Horn Cabinets and make this cutout available for their acrylic cabinet inserts? That way, one could use the larger surface area that is available when the sewing machine is flush with their cabinet. The sew-steady table is a much smaller sewing surface area. Thanks for all the help you bring with your videos. Your hard work is appreciated.
I really enjoyed this video.. I always pick up at least one tip. Today it was the tip about the foam vs. Teflon side of the spool pad. Question: when using cross-wpund spools on the horizontal pin ... Do you bring the thread from the bottom & backside of the spool, over the top of the spool toward you, and then proceed to do the threading process? Or can it come directly toward you from the bottom of the spool?
I ordered this table and the glider. Why is the glider so small? As soon as my project lays beyond the slider, it drags. Also, my glider didn't have a hole for the BSR and the sheet chipped/cracked when I tried to cut the hold out for the BSR. Thanks Jeff!
How is this better than my old Kenmore 158.1789 and some practice? I bought the thing for $13 at Goodwill, you can't possibly convince me this rig is 500 times better.
I had a wonderful kenmore. I grew out of it. I took a class and they had us use bernina and i fell in love. You don't know what you need until you try it. But you may never want or need one. Thats ok but if you ever fell the need for more. Take it for a test drive. I love this guy he helps us learn new things. I love to keep learning and do simple tasks with ease. So quiet.
I have the wish table with cutout for BSR. Thanks for showing how to install it as the directions provided with table do not emphasize that the metal foot still needs to be attached before inserting into table. I got it attached no problem now. But...the BSR does not stay on consistently. I've watched every video, practiced for hours and hours and it seems to go in and out. You mentioned problems with the cable. Can you share the "symptoms" when there is an issue with the cable? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I believe that with the BSR attached above the needle in normal position, it gets in the way of the thicker ruler foot. So you can't do ruler work with the BSR.attched.
It is a pity that I can't buy your invention in Europe. I have connected Bernina in Switzerland to inform them about your great idea but they didn't seem very interested.
Hoi Elsa ich habe diesen Tisch seinerzeit in de USA direkt bei Versa Table bestellt. Musste einfach den genauen Maschinentyp angeben. Möchte das Teil nicht mehr missen. Lg Ursula
Thank you for inventing this I love doing ruler template guided machine quilting. This is a game changer! I have a 9 year old 710 and works great!

I bought that table along with my new 770 QE foot and haven’t had a chance to use it yet. Can’t wait.

Will this table work with older machines such as the 440?
Interesting to know you can make a BSR insert for Horn cabinets. I need to investigate that!

Love the thread guide. I use the clippy I got from you
I purchased one of the first BSR tables from Mr Jeff....I am still working on perfecting my stitches, but YES I like it!

@@christinechristoffersen6256 And that's an honest answer, thanks.

Is this table also for the 880 Plus?
Looks good, but what is the benefit of moving the bsr under this table and using the 72 foot?
I believe that with the BSR attached above the needle in normal position, it gets in the way of the thicker ruler foot. So you can't do ruler work with the BSR.attched.
I already have a Sew Steady table. Is there a way to add this to an existing table?

He will Send it to you , but shipping & duty to Europe are expensive 🤷♀️
I think if you order thru Sew Steady direct they ship world wide
@@berninajeff - ooh, good to know!
Does it work on the 79b?
So it comes with the stitch regulator
Does the stitch regulator fit a 480? Thanks!
Brilliant
My Bernina was bought in maybe 1995ish so not as fancy as the one you are using today.
Is this available for the 830?
Jeff what does calibrate the hoop on a 790Bplus
Mean how do I do that thanks
I could talk you thru that call the shop 970-256-1293. It’s not critical if you don’t stitch close to the hoop
Can you use it with an 880 plus?
Do you also ship to South Africa?
I only have two modes on my 790 plus.
Is there a stitch regulator for the bernette?
Sorry not for the Bernettes
Could I find this table here in Switzerland?

@@gingerpahos1386 - ooh, good to know, I have an 820, but live in the UK. Need to find out if/when we can get this over here!
It doesn"t work. The stitches are not even. I hope it is the cable. I will try another cable once I get it.
Will this table work with 830
