I'm a 100x bigger Oasis fan than Foo Fighters, but when I saw that I agree - instantly thought Noel sounded like an idiot. Similar to other interviews where he's basically said he hates Oasis fans, and a recent performance where he asked the audience if there were any Oasis fans in the house, and then proceeded to play Black Star Dancing. He's lost the plot.

If Taylor knew anything, he knew how lucky he was and he had a lot of “aw shucks”about him. But we need to give him credit for his ruthlessly calculated foresight because he quit playing with one of the biggest selling artists of all time to play with a band that was still playing small theaters that wound up being one of the biggest bands in the world. Just an ace cat he was. Sorely missed.
I love Oasis and have a huge amount of respect for Noel - but I lost a bit of respect for him after he went to dig out Foo Fighters. The most respectful and genuine people on the rock scene. Now Taylor Hawkins is gone I wonder if he regrets his words. A lesson to all - be kind. Banter is one thing but openly mugging someone off who was trying to be decent to you is another.

Used to think Noel was just fine without Oasis.... Key words, "Used to". His music is trash now. I thought his first solo album was great, and the second was pretty good, too. Been downhill ever since, though. A few of the newer more "pop" songs of his are okay and kind of catchy, but a lot of them are really bad. I am continually struck by how refreshing this man’s humility is. Such a loss of such a huge talent & such a beautiful man inside & out. Taylor..you’re hard to forget, and never will be forgotten. Special healing thoughts out to Dave, Taylor’s wife and kids..and all who loved him.

I saw that tour and Noel and SP were both f'n amazing. One of the best shows I've ever seen... massive arena and it was SOLD OUT.
