The modernisation was good on the first 2 elevators. But they shake a bit. They need a bit of work. So do the doors in the DieselDucy elevator

DIESELDUCY WONDERFUL MODERNIZATION and You tell all workers change the DieselDucy elevator.
TKE seems to generally use a high pitched chime for installations, and a low pitched chime for modernizations...
They use the low pitch for installations now.
I just realized the bank of two elevators could've been glass.
Mod is quite nice, apart from the fact the inner lanterns don’t work on the right one and they patched up the old indicator place up with tape which looks a bit unfinished. Apart from that, these are quite nice especially with the snapcabs that they added after this video

Look at the floor numbering on all of the elevators! Are they all mixed up because the Thyssenkrupp elevators start with 1A but the Montgomery starts with 1B!

I think the mod was good but bad, Thyssenkrup did a nice mod on the elmwood parking garage elevator, The 2 elevators were modded, But, THE DIESELDUCY SHOW ELEVATOR STAYS ORIGINAL FOREVER!!!

I honestly think they could of done better on the other elevator. By the way there used to be a cool otis lexan that I filmed at my local mall, but unfortunately it caught fire and it is now defunct sitting in the pit. I believe it’s getting a kone replacement
Floridian Elevators the Montgomery isn't original either but it did survive. The 2 Elevators kept breaking down a lot so that's why they got the mod. The DieselDucy show elevator didn't break down a lot
Nope. I prefer modernization, but not when they modernize the lift with generic (i.e. Nordstrom elevator Stoneridge Mall)

I think the mod was good but bad. ThyssenKrupp did better on the Elmwood parking garage mod. Also, are they leaving the tape up there? Because it just makes it look worse.

Knowing other modernizations that have been done in the past, you'd think they would mod the other Montgomery ("dieselducy show one"). Surprised they left it original. Nonetheless, glad to see it original.

But the elevator was in a bad condition but atleast it worked, it just needed maintenance but they just wanted to mod it

Good mod, but unfinished. They need to slap some pieces of metal over those open holes where the old indicators used to be, and they need to wire up those lanterns in the one car.
The left one seems slightly rushed in a sense of it shaking and the doors not sounding too healthy.
Also you can see how it shakes quite a bit due to the image stabilization on the camera not fully able to compensate for the shaking.
At least they didn't touch the other one...

I just do not understand, with as much an elevator costs, why such a crude floor indicator display, that displays an "8" with a couple of horizontal lines attached, to pretend that it is a "B"? When they ask squarish numerical digits to display letters also, why not go with this thing we have long had called "dot matrix"? It does these amazing things, such as allowing letters to look like letters without resorting to bizarre shapes that sort of almost look like a letter, but not quite. And this is what we get in a "modernization"?
Mod was good. Didn’t like how elevator 2 shook and the floor indicator was covered with tape. Otherwise, good job Thyssenkrupp! Good thing they left the DieselDucy elevator the same.

Elevator B shook like this before the mod.
How is it possible for both sets of elevators to have a different order for the floors with the modernized two having A then B while the other elevator has B then A when going up.

I totally agree. Otis would have been a better choice than Generic Thyssen Krupp. They did a crappy job and it runs worse than before. It is an overall bad mod. They didnt bother with cleaning the stainless steel on the landings. They are now unfortunately ruining the other one. If you look at my Channel, you will see an Otis Modernization in a parking garage. It is just better. Everything in that elevator is nicer than it was before. This one is a junky elevator and Park Roanoke needs to change their contract over to OTIS!
I still have suspicion about the DieselDucy elevator being modded.

OPM1961 There have been elevators that are vintage get modded and look bad but some have been good. I believe the only time the elevator needs a mod is if the building is being renovated or the elevator is in bad shape.
