Interesting vid.
Chart plotter integration with autopilot has a lot of advantages. Have you ever looked into all the nav stuff available for Raspberry Pi? When connected to your SeaTalk net, it's the ultimate in configurability and interoperability. (Although it does tend to be on the complex side. And full disclosure, I don't have anything useful currently deployed on RPi, but I do have a Garmin chart plotter...it's a very long story.)
Any plans to visit the West Coast (of North America)?
