Nice recipe ,Imake barley dosa . 1cup.udad dal + 1 cup barley ,soak and grind to dosa consistency,add methi powder , leave it to ferment and make healthy yummy dosas

I tried your first method and the roti was all in pieces. It’s was very soft atta where you couldn’t even shape it. I have to try the liquid dough method I guess

Tried with 1:1 propertion of barley to water and it was too soggy. I don't think what you are using is barley.

Jau Barley is gluten free with very high Fibre. The flour which you kneaded is not of barley as it doesn't has elasticity.

Can you write the recipe in English.
Jai shree mataji. Boil one cup water add 1/2 tsp salt & 1/2 tsp butter cover the pan & let it boil , in that add one cup barley flour keep the flame low & mix it. Turn off the flame and cover it with lid. Let it cool. When the dough is little warm start kneading it. Take small portion, roll it into chapati & roast in a pan afterwards apply butter for extra softness. Barley chapati or tortilla is highly nutritious as well easy to digest as it contains high fiber.
