I have the 2005 XLT 3.0 V6 4WD. Original owner, 126k. 6’3” 210 lbs. Purchased new in 2004. I think you misrepresented the comfort of the seats. I would never have purchased this vehicle without extensive testing for my size. It puts the “sport” in SUV, but that’s also why I bought it 20 years ago.
How many miles you got on it?
I had the 2005 model.Just be aware if you live in the snowbelt like I do,they rust big time around the rear wheel wells,as well as the front cross member.You need to keep a close watch on these areas.Mine was the 4wd model,it work great in snow.Overall it was a great car.
Yeah, this one has some bad rust on it. I made a video on it, and we sold it.
My 2005 Escape had an unbelievably unreliable V6 Duratec. Blew up four separate engines. The offroad tires, XD wheels, full straight pipe, and two-inch lift did that thing wonders though. Definitely held up very well with the things it endured during my ownership, apart from several engine swaps 😅

@MotorMikeMedia It was beyond a pain in my ass, the front subframe being dropped as a requirement is the worst part honestly. I got used to it though after the third one 😂
I have a 2006 With 204k bought at 193K its been awesome so far. No huge issues so far
