- Here is another Sunday Reset!
This is a weekly routine that I do to get ahead for the week and prepare meals for our family of five as a busy full time working mum.
I set aside 3 hours on a Sunday which reduces the mental and physical pressure during the week by having meals ready to go and not having to think each night what to cook!
I budget $350 a week to cover all food, cleaning and household, toiletries and nappies.
Here is my budget breakdown for this week :
Fruit $32.30
Vegetables $60.95
Treats $12
Meat $13.30 (I had meat in the freezer to use for a few meals)
Cleaning and Household $0
Toiletries $14.50
Nappies $45
Everything else $157.14
'Total $335.19 between Coles and Woolworths
+ $10 From the bakery
Meals for the week:
Dinners
Loaded beef nachos
Beef Bolognese with Basil and Bocconcini
One Pan oven bakes fajitas
Pesto Gnocchi
Nandos chicken and rice bake
Leftovers
Green Thai Chicken Curry
Breakfast:
Baked raspberry and chocolate pancakes
Lunches:
Air Fried cajun chicken and salad wraps
Snacks:
Brownies
Anzac Biscuits
Kids baked pancakes
Vegemite scrolls
Cut up fruit and veg

I hope you enjoy this and I will be back next week to share my Sunday Reset!
As always thank you for the time you've taken to watch, like, comment and message me!
I’d love some kids lunch box inspo, also maybe seeing some of the meals when you dish them up / how you reheat too :)
I was coming to say the exact same thing. I find kids lunches to be the hardest. They get so bored of the same thing and I get so sick of trying to work out their lunch every day haha
Yeah same!
Also… THANK YOU for this labour of love! Who knows where you find that extra time to edit and post your video within 2 days!! We appreciate you 🫶🏽 #goals
Would love to see what your evenings are like, heating or preparing the meal and serving the food. Maybe something you can add to the end of your video
I love how insanely organised! I love it. Really enjoying these videos, thank you for the time and effort you put into them throughout your already busy week!
Thank you so much for these meal prep videos, you have inspired me to start this. If you're thinking of other content ideas, I'd love to see a video on your planning process, where you get your meal ideas from, and even how you map it all out on paper from the meals to grocery list to the order you decide to cook it in. Again, thanks so much for the inspiration and hard work that goes into a video like this.
I would love to see how you plan this, if that is possible. Love your videos
Amazing, I’m blown away. Fantastic food for your family. 👏🏻💙
Thank you! 💕
Love your resets ! Not only motivational but gives me loads of ideas … you’re insanely organised I love it !! x
Thank you from the UK 🇬🇧 X
I love your videos. They are so motivational. When I don't feel like being consistent I see your video and instantly feel like I should get to it.
I’m excited to watch this when the kids go to bed!!!!!
Perfect! It is such a great meal idea, and even though i live alone i am a firm believer in meal prepping and planning -it has helped me save a lot of money and keep food waste to an absolute minimum.
Just came across your channel. Super helpful and you’re a super mum. Thank you 🫶
Thank you so much! 💕
Discovered you last week and really love these! I no longer use Instagram so I yearn for more content like this from working moms here on RUclips. Thanks!
Greetings from Tasmania, I love your resets videos ❤
I needed this As a single mom of 5 who work 12 hours shift .. Thank you so much😘
Ok i need to know where you get all your pots and containers. I love them!
The glass containers with the snap lids are from IKEA, most of the other ones are Decor brand
Amazing thank you so much ❤️ loads of inspiration for me xx
Line your videos so inspiring. Thank you so much for all your time and effort Monique.
Completely unrelated, but I'm STILL not used to the newer coles paper bags being so much shorter haha. Another fab reset!
So I wasn’t blind. They are shorter. What a weird thing for them to. I don’t shop at coles and if I have to for something that’s on special, I take my own bags.
My partner works at Coles. She said it’s to fit into their trolleys better - convenience for the online shopping packers.
I love meal prep 👍🏽😍 thanks for sharing. Can i ask how old your Kids are?
Getting so many helpful tips and recipes from your vids! Fridge goals!!!❤
I'm a new subscriber from Queensland. It's gd that I can relate to Ur videos. Do u only do cooking videos or home stuff as well like cleaning or organising etc.. I would suggest when u cook , then show it after in detail as to wat it looks like
This ending was a bit too fast fr me
It's very economical batch cooking I do it often there's only me but I still cook for 4 then I freeze meals for later
Baked pancakes? Oh that would make my life so much easier.
How do you reheat everything so it still tastes good? Looks amazing 😍
Loving your videos Monique ! So organised.
I love Mingle seasonings, meal bases and sauces.
I came searching for this.. posted 1hr ago 🎉yay!

Can we get a tour of your pantry?
Thanks for the motovation, i love the wooden baords over the stove where did you get them?
Really enjoying your videos. Just curious how you get through so much without your kids interrupting a million times 😂
Can i Please have your brownie recipe?
New subscriber 😊
👍😍
May i know what you use your fruit and vegetables? Thanks!!
Where do you live? Curious for currency conversion since I usually only get 3 bags of groceries or less and spend between 2-300$ Canadian and would never be able to buy the amount you showed for the price you said
I’m from Australia 🇦🇺 😊
@@Theorganisedeverydaymum oh wow I’m surprised since the conversion isn’t too different from cad to aus but it is from Euro to Cad so wasn’t sure if you were from the Uk
@@Theorganisedeverydaymum I would never be able to buy the amount you bought for that price where I live
Hi is the American measurement’s slightly different to the wales| England measurement’s thanks 😊
She is Australian.
Yes, she measures in grams and cooks in Celsius vs American ounces and Fahrenheit. You can pretty easily convert in Google, or if you use a food scale, they usually have both grams and ounces.
@@taneshanurse9883 Thanks 😊
