Just so you know, i have canned fruit (peaches and pears) for years with no sugar at all!! I use about 1/3 c. Pineapple juice per quart. And then put the fruit in the jar and fill with water. If i want to make them sweeter, i will add a bit of stevia to the jar!! So simple and it keeps the fruit very pretty in the jars!! I also would NEVER waterbath them for 20 minutes or they would be mush! 5 minutes is all i do! Now i know that elevation plays a part in this. We live by the coast. So basically sea level!!
I am new to your channel and I really enjoyed watching this video. Super calm and comforting. Inspiring and good content. Great editing too. Looking forward to watching & learning more.
I’m doing a lot of dehydrating this year! Freezing some corn, dehydrating my garden tomatoes for tomato powder, dehydrating my home grown celery for celery powder, lots and lots of zucchini…dehydrating strips to later be used in lasagna zucchini and zucchini prefer to use in recipes. dehydrating calendula flowers to make balm or soap later. The chicken looked amazing! I love your videos!!
What a great video, I love these so much. Thank you for all your hard work that gones onto these videos. Love seeing those little fingers after a muffin!!!

Does it harden up in the fridge or is it still liquid when you go to pour it? Maybe I’ll finally get around to canning for the first time too 😅 You definitely make it look so easy! Where did you get that large pot? That’s the only thing I’m missing.

My banana pastries never come out this big and fluffy no matter what I do! Especially the banana bread/cake, it rises beautifully in the oven and then the minute I take it out it deflates like a year old baloon. I noticed you put more flour than I do though, so maybe I need to "overpower" the banana with the flour to really get that rising effect. Thank you so much for sharing!

For my fellow Aussies, to make thebrown sugar, use castor sugar and backstrap molasses.
Our brown sugar in the shops is the same thing, but yes if you can’t get that it’s easy to make as Adeline has shown
