Next time instead of using a single cup measure for such a huge batch, you can use a big measuring bowl and do 8 cups at a time. I just pour on top of each layer and measure that way! Way quicker for large batches!

Hi, been enjoying your cooking videos for a little while now, and I was wondering if you might ever want to try something called Clear Gel? It works the same as corn starch, but it won't affect the color of your sauces or glazes as much as corn starch does. I used it during one of my last cooking jobs and it still thickens a sauce just like corn starch does and you mix it the same way you would mix corn starch. I just don't know where you can find it for public (consumer) use. I don't know if it's just for restaurants or if Amazon carries it. Either one works in my opinion, and it really doesn't matter unless you don't want your sauces or glazes to look "milky" or cloudy if it's not supposed to look that way. I appreciate all of your recipe ideas that you share with us, I was just curious and lending a little food for thought on something that might be useful in future recipes that you share with us.
Thank you for sharing your recipes and cooking wisdom. I hope you had a great time at the cabin with family. 😀

On the s’mores rice crispies rather than doing like you did I think it would be a good idea if immediately after panning you top them off with a marshmallow imagining lines in how you would cut them giving each square a marshmallow on top (still mix some in obviously) and take a torch or few seconds under broil if you don’t have one however the torch would give the roasted effect to the marshmallow anyway just enough to make a tad gooey then take the chocolate and press into the torched marshmallow both sticking it to it and causing it to partially melt on them!

You said the cheese dip needs 2 oz of cream cheese. A block of cream cheese is 8oz, half would be 4oz. Are you using a brand than comes in a unusual quantity or did you mean to say a different weight? I'm confused as there's a big difference between 2oz and 8oz.

Do you have a silicone or other type of nylon. Or plastic spatula that makes scraping out the bowl or whatever you use for mixing to get everything out to avoid waste.
I never had a bear cheese or bear for that matter could never stand the smell plus the bear never agreed with my stomach. But I have had wine cheese. And wine has something that can help settle the stomach. It is even mentioned in the Bible.
Too much sugar from what I see hope you watch out because of not needing sugar high kids. Plus the issue with diabetes which is on the rise. I was hypoglycemic but now type 2 because of insulin resistance and organ damage. So I have to watch the sugar. But there are nature's cane sugar substitutes that are low glycemic and low glycemic load based on how the body processes. Them. Do some research and substitute. So.ecrun around the same as cane sugar but others cost more but you need less of it compared to sugar. So a good conversion chart and doing some experimentation you will find what you need to meet your taste preference. I know CC cannot stand anything super sweet It makes me sick to my stomach always had since I was a kid. I am now 51 years old looking after my 49 year old special needs brother. And we just lost our father this year on 2-1-2024 at 2:25 am in his sleep at the age of 79 his 80th birthday would have been 9-19-1944 as his birth year. So he didn't meet his goal of 80 this year of 2024. Our family usually lives in our 80s, 90s, and 100s. Unless of severe illness, accident or murder/assassination. And considering who many of our relatives are assassination has been an issue through the centuries. One of my great uncles died because of an arson fire. And my great grandfather was almost killed because of an attempted murder using horses and a wagon. By creating a run away wagon situation that in the late 1800s early 1900s with the horse and buggy area as it was known and very few automobiles aka horseless carriages on the road. But he did lose his leg from what my grandfather told me and it happened before my grandfather was born which was 5-5-1908.
