FYI, you don't need to exit out to get another rival, you can just keep on hotlapping and it'll give you a new rival each time you beat the last

this game is crazy because you'll drive what feels like on the limit and then end up like many seconds behind the top players
I'm currently 20th in the world with a 1:27.743 as my PB. I'm on controller, though. Anyway, through the exit of the first corner, I noticed you kept upshifting to gear 5 at the end, which kept causing you to go too narrow and understeering like mad. You'll find a tremendous amount of time by staying in gear 4. Additionally, if you repeatedly tap the gas throughout the duration of the corner, the car will turn better and carry way more momentum than just letting on and off the gas.
Besides that, through the carousel leading to the uphill section, I noticed you were losing a lot of time by staying in gear 3. Heading into the carousel, quickly downshift to gear 2 to get more rotation out of the car, then once you're at about the midpoint of the carousel, shift back up to gear 3. Doing this will give you a good set-up for the rest of the lap, and you'll end up crossing the line with a drastically better time. Those were the two biggest mistakes I noticed you were making. I made the same mistake trying to adjust the fuel and tire stuff, it ended up crashing my game out when I tried to undo my changes. lol. I think my time is pretty close to yours, there are a couple turns on Maple Valley that I always have issues with, I might be able to squeeze out a little more time if I nail those couple rough spots. Keep it up!
I love rivals mode. You get a message in Forza menu if a friend beats your time it makes it great fun when you been trying to beat that one time then you blast it by 2 secs lol
If this continues every month the game will be top for years maybe also with other sponsors logitech nailed it🎉 love the game

Been stuck at 1:31.099 clean and 1:30.254 dirty, feels like there’s no way to go any faster but my rival proves otherwise
Enjoyed watching someone elses frustrations with this, i reached my limit with simulation settings and refuse to remove them to beat my time further, but I cant break that barrier to the 1.31

Finally, someone at my same skill level representing on RUclips. Wallride for life.
A suggestion. Turn on track limit markers under assists so you can see how much you can cut corners. You just need to keep at least 2 tyres inside the line. Blue is good, yellow is 1/2 wheels off and red is 3/4. Then just hug the inside at T1 using the track limits to keep on the right hand side for the left hander.

Good race, I've been stuck at "1:32:867" for days and just can't seem to improve. I just recently got the G232 thinking that would help but that slowed me considerably, I think I just need to continue practicing.

Same. This is the first track I tried to run rivals with my wheel. Seeing this helps me realize I'm not alone with my wheel racing on this track.

I’ve made it to 45th in the Americas for E class on Suzuka. I’m so stuck now, I need to tune gearing, but all of the tunes from leaderboard are locked. Rivals is like crack.
I’m at a 1:30.949 and cannot fit the life of me cut even a thousandth off. I’ve noticed the top drivers are all on controller, and run no assist. In the first corner I’ve seen them dip into 2nd gear for a second to rotate the car towards the exit, but beyond that I’m lost as to how to gain three seconds on my current time.
Just got to get in the groove!!
@@Kireth well after about 50 more laps I was able to cut it down to a 1:30.560! 😮💨 I’m easily 200 laps in and finally getting the hang of this track

Got to round 2 of the logitech challenge and am currently placed #250 in EU. Super happy but also had to waste so much time and make like 300 laps xD

I cant play anywhere near my times on a controller compared to my wheel rig. But the fastest times in the world are rarely set on a wheel. But its significantly more fun and thats the main thing 😂

The car feels so weird in this game. you turn in and understeer ridiculously bad, then get on the throttle and lose the rear immediately. even in the video you hear the front tyres screaming and him turning more and more, and then immediately goes into snap oversteer.
I doesnt do this on race tires, well snap oversteer does but the understeer doesn't also this is fixed with lower tire pressures since the game runs SUV tire pressures by default
@@Simracingisgoated what's "low" tire pressure? i run 20-25 on almost everything cause its set to like 35-37 psi
Finally someone that does not bash the game for 30 minutes. I recently downloaded the game and was looking for content on it and literally everything is a a video about why the game sucks lol.

i would really love to try to play forza motorsport with a good direct drive wheel instead of xbox core controller. since i‘m sitting behind the wheel for around 20 years i dont want to spent money on any logitech 923 or tm248 but that logitech you‘re on is 1k. thats too expensive 😅 but looks like it makes the game so much enjoyable 🎉

Bro that mcclaren senna is deliberately set up as a bag of shite handling nightmare anyone who can drive that fast has got to be terrible at Forza tyre pressures too hard suspension too hard bags of understeer its basically a bag of shite
I totally agree with this, I find it hard to imagine this car would understeer this much. I feel its a purposeful thing to make the game easier to play as understeer is safe 😢
