The Valkyrie and Valkyrie AMR Pro are susceptible to porpoising due to them using the floor to generate downforce like the current ground effect F1 cars

The vast majority of race cars use the floor to generate downforce, even a flat floor operates in ground effect.
The Valkyrie is susceptible to porpoising specifically because it utilises a pair vortexes to aid downforce generation at the diffuser. When the car bottoms out, either one of the vortexes (it's random) disintegrates and the car loses substantial amounts of downforce, making it jump.
One uses active suspension the other uses a simpler suspension dampening systems that are illegal. Both are a hunk of junk irl because they're set up for novice millionaires rather than race car drivers.

Going through maggots and beckets you could definitely gain a little bit of time by late apexing the curb and downshifting to keep the car from getting upset from too much rapid steering input

I miss Horizon Colorado 2012, it was just a simpler time. I remember I was 12 years old when this game came out and I would just come home turn on my 360 and once I started playing It felt like I got transported to the festival. All mental struggles of mine just evaporated and I loved the visuals of driving around through a place that felt like home. It had beautiful trees, buildings, sunsets and of course beautiful cars. I partied at the festival and I think we all did. Unfortunately in this universe everything has a set lifespan even the universe itself. So make every bit of your life count, make your life fun it will only come once. So my final message is make life your horizon!

X class was allready broken. The F1 cars were unchallengable, and 919 was useless.
Same as P class, the faster Hypercars (Jesko, Nevera) were uslesss against LMP2s, which in turn were useless agaisnt LMP1s,. which were useless against the F1 cars with ballasts.
I honestly don't know what the hell Turn 10 is doing with these Astons in the game. The regular Valkyrie, which in real life should be comparable to or marginally faster than the AMG 1, is faster than a Porsche 919. I'm sorry, there is absolutely no way that this thing being faster than an MP4-4 is remotely realistic.
The MP4/4 is an 80s F1 car, when the aerodynamic and tire technology isn't as great as it is now, plus the Valkyrie's aerodynamics is on par with an LMP1 and F1 car which it is at the core.
@@ValentinCoder No shit Sherlock, wasn't saying that it was as fast as an LMP1, doesn't mean it isn't close enough to being on that level though.
@@ValentinCoder As it is right now, it's almost certainly (much) faster than a LMH or LMP1 car, since the available AMR Pro isn't the LMH spec, but has way more engine power than what's allowed by rule.
@@ValentinCoder so you expect a car with 300 less HP, no hybridation, and likely aero restrictions to fit the aero budget of the category to be faster ?
@@ValentinCoder I'll have to stop you right here, the Valkyrie AMR Pro isn't road legal, and obviously doesn't have the same aero package as the road legal version, as is clearly visible from the rear wing being a lot bigger on the track version. And I'm fairly sure the differences aren't only skin deep, but also very likely the suspension being set up differently.

The *AVERAGE* G-force when going through a corner in F1 is 5 to 6G's. The actual highest G-force registered in F1 was 254G in Suzuka 2014.
