i nearly lost my glasses on this ride when i rode it during the september 2024 disney world trip i came home from today; they came off during the banked turn right after the main launch
I'm glad they rewrote the queue and preshow script to call humans "Terrans", rather than bumblingly calling them "Epcotians" or whatever the hell it was. It makes the story flow that much smoother, and helps balance out the comic relief present in the GOTG universe with a more serious lead-in to the ride itself. It's a change that I personally welcome. Edit: Nevermind, it was premature 😩
Rode for the first time a couple weeks ago. It was so nausea inducing, I was looking for a cm to ask for a barf bag😨 Had to sit on a bench for 15 minutes with my head between my legs. Never did see a cm. It's clear!y a one and done for me😵
I spent $7,000.00 for my family to go to Disney World. I tried 2 times to get the virtual queue and failed. Disney sucks. They don't care about you. They just want your money.
Unfortunately everything down there in and around the parks is now dependent on being on your phone and using their app. I see the utility in some cases but truly miss not having to be glued to the phone. Enjoying the details in the parks and in the ride lines.

Fun Fact: Every year on September 21st, the only song that plays on the ride for the entire day is "September" by Earth Wind and Fire.
This ride needs a few giant dinosaur animatronics upon landing. Like "Oh, we landed in the wrong time...welcome to the Guardians!"
I like the song "One Way or Another", so it was awesome!
I think the music you get can make a big difference in the ride experience.

Best new ride EVER. it’s not competing with Haunted Mansion or Pirates. I’m just saying FOR WHAT IT IS, it’s a masterpiece

I despise VQ! Though I’m lucky every time, it’s time for that system to go away so we can go on more and more! And no more “multi hour line” excuses!
