That queue needs a few hundred feet more of switchbacks.

Hell I would be completely worn out before I ever made it on the ride

Truly an amazing land! It really encompasses what zootopia looks like in the movie!

I watched this in the vlog! It’s adorable and queue is really neat! It’s definitely screen heavy but it had way more excitement than MMRR!

It’s so obvious that this would be so much more thematically appropriate for Animal Kingdom at Florida’s WDW than Indiana Jones.

I'm pretty impressed, but I know Tom doesn't like projection-based rides. I honestly couldn't tell how the ride vehicles were moving in some of those projection scenes. Did you just stop and focus on the movement of the projections? Or were you moving along with them?

They can still bring it to the states, they just have to replace the prison cells with literally anything else even a plain hallway. They could even expand on the land to include new locations and other attractions based on the sequel.

This still looks like a fun attraction to go on. Very well themed.

You can always tell when Tom's doing the camera work. Very steady, doesn't try to get clever by zooming in & out of things, just stays in frame, calm turns, etc. Not mentioning names but another recent WDW attraction walkthough so was so shaky I got a headache. Anyhow, thanks for sharing these two attractions, Zootopia Hot Pursuit and Zootopia Endless Queue Line.

Nice ride. I think Zootopia would be a nice fit at Animal Kingdom. I would prefer more animatronics and physical sets to screens. Also 75% of the video was the que. I appreciate the detail of the que but make the ride longer.

Actually, I think it would work at Disney’s California adventure as a replacement for the Hollywood land backlot because it already has that urban setting

I disagree actually; I like Zootopia, but despite it featuring animal characters I don't think it fits very well in the Animal Kingdom. That park's theme is nature conservation, and seeing a fox holding a smartphone feels a bit antithetical to that. Zootopia's contemporary city setting just doesn't fit as well as stories that actually take place in nature, like The Jungle Book, The Lion King, or Finding Nemo. I'd put Zootopia in the Magic Kingdom.

Looks like almost the same track as Mickey and Minnie Runaway railroad.

I think we shall put the translation on so that we can hear what the characters are saying if that was in English and even do translation on the signs too

more ip, more cheap rides. The themed land is neat but they expect you to pay admittance to the most expensive theme park chain in the world for this????

Well this should only be for shanghai since because shanghai is the only disney park with no (ratatouille, mickey's and minnie's runaway railway) type trackless attraction.

I wish Disney would do s land not being IP based.

Big advocate to NOT bring this to the US parks. It’s cute, but we need to demand Disney to use the screens less and less. I feel like this video did just as much justice as riding the actual ride itself.

Not a fan of the projection eye look

    • @AuraLeafstorm

I agree, I hope projection mapping on animatronics gets phased out. The animatronics on the Frozen ride in Epcot have projection faces, but the ones on the newer Frozen ride at Tokyo DisneySea don't, so hopefully that's a good sign.

    • @RedPandaStan

@@AuraLeafstorm the tokyo disney parks are not managed by disney, a japanese company takes the ip from disney and in return disney gets some of their profits back. It's why their parks didn't go significantly downhill in quality when the bobs took over, why their attractions are generally higher quality, and they're generally considered to be the best 2 disney parks around.

    • @AuraLeafstorm
      @AuraLeafstorm 4 месяца назад +1

@@RedPandaStan Yes, I'm aware. The Oriental Land Company owns and operates the Tokyo Disney parks, but the animatronics are still developed by Disney Imagineering. They also opted not to use projection mapping on the animatronics on Tiana's Bayou Adventure, if you want an example from an American park.

California Adventure makes sense. Zootopia is based on Los Angeles. All they have to do is just replace the jail cells in the queue with literally anything else, from there, they can add more rides and attractions to the land even new locations from Zootopia 2.
