Toyota does the same thing. Will lie to you about their truck frame rust.
Are they still catching on fire ??
You sit on your high horse and blame Hyundai Corporation when they have issued the recall, but your real problem in my opinion is with the Hyundai DEALERSHIP that isn't up to date or without a clue of the recall if that is actually the case. You probably paid a great deal over MSRP out there in California too. I'm guessing at least 5k over...YOU should have researched the dealership and their service department before you bought your vehicle there. Live and learn!😊
My Santa Cruz came with a CVT transmission.
When your transmission goes out, and it will... the vehicle will quickly drop to 20 mph, its called 'limp mode' you get no warning, no warning lights. try not to get killed if you're on the highway. These vehicles are a menace and should not be on the road.
@@cmscms123456 yours came with a DCT mine came with a CVT which are very solid and reliable. A DCT is pretty much useless in an SUV and they don't last a long time if you drive in every day traffic. It pays to do research ahead of time instead of after.
@@DTWave81 6000 miles...??? What explains Hyundai LYING??? I posted their own documents... "DO NOT SELL".. Id like to hear back from you.

Experience loss of power 2023 Hyundai
I had the exact same problems almost to a tee. Hyundai is the worst!
Keep all your receipts, and find a lemon law layer.. it is FREE for you, Hyundai pays the legal fees.. Worked for me.
Too bad you didn’t do that research before you bought it. Sorry that happened.
Im just letting everyone know what LIARS Hyundai is, and dont buy a LEMON from them.
@@cmscms123456 I'm so sorry about what you're going through. Your video is so informative! Everyone should be thanking you! I see posts about the 2023 model having problems as well, but Hyundai hasn't included them in the recall. I won't be buying a Hyundai. Thanks again. 💜

hyundai / kia are family business...
daewoo with american GM company...
LG / samsung are family business
Dont buy a lemon, dont buy a Hyundai. Dangerous at any speed.
Ive read Hyundai is ending, quietly ending production on the Santa Cruz...
It's a Hyundai , low quality. I thought everyone knew that. It's a Korean vehicle.
Maverick wins 🎉
haha, I won.... I read Hyundai is ending production of the Santa Cruz.... LOSERS.....
I don't know if you are uniformed or just angry and acting out, but this recall is hardly hidden! All affected owners received a notice of this recall and searching by VIN, will instantly identify any affected vehicles. Did you throw away mail or buy this used, not sure but you are WAY off-base here, nothing hidden, no subterfuge or malice on the manufacturers part. Yes, it sucks (I own a 2022 SC), but it was not hidden or otherwise supressed...
CLEARLY you are not informed about the 'process' of 'RECALL' certain cars are 'selected' and some are not selected for 'recalls' MY CAR was just outside the selected VIN range. My car had all the same issues, so I didnt not get a recall notice. BUT.. when I asked the dealership the LIED and said there were never any RECALLS on the car I owned... MY ISSUE with HYUNDAI is THEY ARE LIARS.. and should be avoided at all cost... Seems you're another Hyundai employee trolling me.... I get a lot of grief from Hyundai about this.
@@cmscms123456 You never included that YOUR VIN was excluded from the recall. And yes, I am fully aware how it works, but thanks. If the recall didn't affect your VIN, then you weren't notified (and wouldn't be), and if the dealer said that exact sentence, and not "YOUR vehicle has no recalls", then maybe actually looked up your specific VIN or are just incompetent, but EITHER WAY, they aren't Hyundai Corporate...
@@cmscms123456 Not a Hyundai employee or even in the auto biz. I am angry too but I understand 1. Crap happens, 2. Many vendors have recalls, 3. I was notified and there is a free recall/service and 4. THE DEALERS ARE CAR SALESMEN. Finally, always look up any vehicle you own or plan to buy using the VIN on NHTSA, especially if you suspect a recall exists...
I went to the General Manger of the dealership (Tustin Hyundai, CA) and show him Hyundai Documents... he continued to lie and denied they existed.. he would not look at them and would not allow me to leave them with him.
@@jackfetter The Hyundai documents are CLEARLY SHOWN in this video. One even says "DO NOT SELL" vehicles... This a BIG PROBLEM,, putting lives in danger.
Ford are worse vehicles ever.
Hyundai 🤣
Ive had my 2011 Hyundai Accent for about 8 years and it has 221,000 miles on it-and it runs like a beast still🤘
Even a broken clock is right twice a day... lol
