Anytime another car intentionally slows down or speeds up in order to pull even with you, it's a hostile move. Get away from that car ASAP, and try to get something between you and it. If possible, take an offramp while that car is ahead of you.

Not condoning the crime of threatening someone with a deadly weapon but Would like to see what lead up to the rage? In my experience most road rage is provoked by non courteous drivers or distracted drivers not following the rules of the road. So many people drive like they are the only drivers on the road obstructing traffic improper lane changes failure to yield right of way etc. So many cases of provoked road rage could be avoided if people would just follow the rules which are laws of the road.

I'm not one to blame victims but seriously why in the world would you pass someone that had just waived a gun at you ? Slow down and put distance between you and that vehicle. maybe even get off the highway then get back on . The dash cam is not going to save you.
My guess is that she was driving slowly in the left lane. Obviously, that's not a reason to pull a gun on someone, but I know how much it gets me heated.
Those that say she was to close, NO. She was back far enough, when it shows a closeup its because the video was zoomed in. Still not a justification for pointing a gun at someone.

There are some real sickos out on the roads, and there's no way to know who they are or what they'll do. If you're unfortunate enough to encounter one, do your best to not engage with him/her, and as mentioned in the video, don't even look their way. There is a narrow margin between life and death because anything can happen in a split second, especially at highway speeds.
Road rage, while becoming more commonplace, is nothing new, it's just that at one time, no one had a name for it. It's been going on for decades.
Be careful, these idiots and their nonsense aren't worth dying over. Let them go to the graveyard alone.
If someone pulls a gun on me on the road I'm not going to turn into an ostrich by burying my head in the sand and think this is not happening. With her limited experience and driving skills I think her best option would have been to slow down carefully to a dead stop on the freeway after that guy pulled out the gun then proceed when that guy leaves. I have more options being a more skillful driver.
@@lym3204 If you can outmanouver a bullet, more power to you.
@@lym3204 Are you kidding. Coming to a full stop just leaves you way more vulnerable to be approached and shot. What kind of logic is that lol. The kind sir brandishing a firearm isn't going to just tip his hat and walk away.
Sums up the current generation we're living in. This is a major problem across the entire country.
So, this just keeps happening to her. Hmmmmm.
Actually no...I live in this area and this area is riddled with road rage. Not just Meridian Street but Indy as a whole. It's scary and the police/911 do absolutely nothing.
She a Karen
She’s probably a tailgater. The rule is one car length for every 10mph. So she be about 6 or 7 lengths behind the white Sonata.
@@Redwhiteblue-gr5em way outdated. was the rule when brakes were terrible. with modern automobile technology 2-3 seconds following distance.
@@andrewdinns1746 really I didn’t know that. Last time I took the written drivers test was in 1979. Do they still have written drivers test these days?
Anytime another car intentionally slows down or speeds up in order to pull even with you, it's a hostile move. Get away from that car ASAP, and try to get something between you and it. If possible, take an offramp while that car is ahead of you.
From right here I can see the content of the character. While driving a stolen car with fitctus tags a felon in possession of a firearm threatening total strangers on the interstate. You don't have a road rage issue you have a lack of police issues...start hiring. They should have this guy arrested in 24 hours.
Police are arresting people constantly. It's the Liberal prosecutors who let them out with a slap on the wrist back into society.
its not a police issue, its an issue of keeping them locked up. no more 3 strikes and no low bail
Arrested in 24 hours, released on the 25th hour.
Won't matter. These criminals learned already if you drive reckless enough, the police will terminate the pursuit.
I wouldn't have passed them and I would've called police immediately to report that incident so that police can get them right away.
This tough guy with his mighty gun will be dead in a year, it's just a matter of time he'll run into another tough guy with a mighty gun.
Exactly...sad, but, facts nonetheless.
Yep he'll meet his match
Well this should be an easy case to prosecute wouldn’t you think?
Laugh out loud
" i dont know why someone would brake check me and wave a gun at me". Ok sweetheart , we believe you.
It could be that some lunatic(created by the government such as in the public de-education camps) just thought someone cut them off or was stressed out due to all the insane things in society or whatever... It's not always, but it usually is, two sided. All it takes is for the moronic lunatic to *think* someone did something to them and then they think they have to prove they are tougher. It is a common mentality among thugs. They gotta prove how tough they are or take out their insanity on someone weaker to get their fix.
I'm not one to blame victims but seriously why in the world would you pass someone that had just waived a gun at you ? Slow down and put distance between you and that vehicle. maybe even get off the highway then get back on . The dash cam is not going to save you.
Npc
So she could flip them off. Duh.
THEY BRAKED Hard!! Re-watch it.
My guess is that she was driving slowly in the left lane. Obviously, that's not a reason to pull a gun on someone, but I know how much it gets me heated.
Was crazy in CA when Road Rage hit hard there, we were scared every time we were on the Interstate I5!! 20 years of it has been going on in CA.
Yeah, happens when you over populate an area. Hmm, another major city with problems. Almost like a pattern emerging.
It's everywhere Maggie . No need to single outf CA
If someone in front of you pulls out a gun, wouldn't any normal person slow down and not pull up next to them?
She’s stubborn or has no situation awareness
Those that say she was to close, NO. She was back far enough, when it shows a closeup its because the video was zoomed in. Still not a justification for pointing a gun at someone.
Last time I saw that I was traveling down rt. 17 in southern NY state and I saw someone climbing out of the sun roof of a car only to soon realize they were completely naked as they sat on the roof of the car while flying down the interstate, but that was in the late 80's as society was in a better place then.
there's the open sunroof topless review, n also there's that window rolled down, n wouldn't ya know it, the moon is out early.
Tip, stop camping out in the left lane. Road rags is always caused by an idiot driving slow or acting foolish.
You sound like one of these people out there that needs help! Write Dr Phil maybe before he quits!
Tailgating is also a precursor for road rage. Leave a safe distance between your vehicle and the vehicles around you.
@@Cfchild1 if you are being tailgated, then you are going too slow. Move over to the slow lane or pull off and let the people you are holding up pass.
@@D.J.Trump2024MAGA Yes, I totally agree you should not drive in the left hand lane unless you are passing slower traffic on the right. You should move over for faster traffic behind when you are in the left lane unless you are going to be turning left such as on a divided highway that allows left hand turns.
@@D.J.Trump2024MAGA What if the people in the right lane are going 55 mph, and you are going 60mph so you are passing them in the left lane, but then a car comes along wanting to go 80mph. I've experienced a noticeable increase in a hole drivers just in the past 2 months. Blowing through red lights and stop signs and what not. Nothing like this but people blocking your inability to change lanes or come up and ride you ash then speed around you only to go slower than you where going in the first place. For some reason they are 40 to 50 years old and there is another commonality as well. But, i know jerks comer in all shapes and sizes.
are you say Scott Adams was right?
Yes! I agree with the comments about her passing right next to them. She's definitely not the brightest crayon in the box. This could have gone so much worse.
Do you think he bought that gun at the store?
girl is an idiot for passing them after she saw the gun.
Incredible how people can’t seem to deal with being on a crowded freeway. She did the best she could. Try and stay calm and not engage. I personally would have not passed them and would have been hands free on the phone with 911 as soon as I saw the gun.
2:13 Over 3 car lengths away, they're over the yellow line, closer to the car in front of them. If anyone thinks she's in the wrong they need to get their brain checked. Nothing excuses pulling a gun on someone anyways like this.
People just have such hardons for victim blaming and delivering condescending truisms. It's like it makes them get a rush from finding an angle to spin it around and assigning blame to someone who didn't do anything wrong.
"She shouldn't have driven past them when they slowed down!", "She should have slowed down and gotten off the highway immediately!", "She should have done x instead of y!".
Bunch of pointless truisms that has absolutely nothing to do with the core of this news segment: the fact that the absolute human filth in the white car pulled a gun on another motorist for no reasonable reason. They don't even address that fact, they just go after the victim instead.
That probably was a bad idea to drive next to them or past them. They looked like they were dressed for Halloween 💀 creepy people!
Especially when that freak was looking out the side window.
Reason 999 why people in other countries think Americans are insane and would never visit here. Other countries regard America as having a gun culture.

We were taught like the military when we were young and disrespect will not be tolerated when they are acting dumb. We don't put up with this type of disgrace we act only in self defence because it's only common sense.
Yeah...what good is a dash cam? For a long while left fire arms in the safe at home. Then one day coming home from work was involved with a maniac on the interstate. The 410 went to and from work after that. And was replaced by a 38. And a single shot 223 under the seat. Reliable accurate firearms. And like they say...if you pull it you better be smart enuf to use it. It's a serious threat when some one pulls iron. I figure they mean to use it. Cuz it's a last resort desperate situation when you pull iron...NEVER threaten any body with a firearm....expect return fire if you do. I hope I never have to deploy mine. But it's there...
Rove 4K is pretty good, I hardwired mine and mounted it off the rear view mirror.
Like the OP, my modded G19 is on a magnetic holder nearby. I also have a mounting kit for my AR-15 in my other car.

Why is she staying so close to them after they pulled a gun 😂
So she can flip them off.
She should have called 911 while following them at a distance.
This woman is not too bright. Why would you continue to drive near those people? I would have slowed down, moved to the right and exited the highway.
It makes you really angry. Who are these people who think they can do anything they want?
Let's see...dont tailgate, especially when a gun is shown. And dont pass the car that you know has someone in it that has pointed a gun at you. Not looking over as you go by is not an effective strategy for stopping bullets BTW.
My ass was tight when she went to pass em. My god
Geez... this is an example of the level of my fellow Americans??....sigh..
@@chieftech714 yeah no. She's very lucky.
I would never pass alongside a car whose occupants were threatening me like that ..
What I can tell you is that I have been driving for 46 years. Whenever someone is riding my butt out there it is usually a girl like in this video that is clueless she is riding your tail. She even says they brake checked her but did that tell her to slow down? Nope. She stayed right on there tail. Young lady that car is a hazard. First thing your taught is to avoid hazards. At the first brake check you should have backed off, changed lanes, or both. Yes those people are nuts! but you did nothing to calm the beast!
FYI it's illegal to brake check someone and it sounds like you engage in that behavior or at the very least condone it from your comments.
@@kensmith2796 Like where I said that car is a hazard and you should avoid hazards ? Nowhere in my comments does it insinuate that I condone brake checking. But it happens every day and you have to learn how to deal with it without getting hurt or killed.
She knows why. Stop driving on people ass.
I believed her behavior, 100% after she drove pass that vehicle.
So many people drive aggressively and call it road rage when they piss someone off?
The police will do absolutely nothing
That 6% of the population doing their very best to keep stereotypes alive.

I drive in the right lane and I no longer give a fuck about what people do. I drive and play music. Life’s too short to complicate it.
*Can we **_NOW_** admit that Whites and Blacks simply can not coexist peacefully together?* Or are we still going to pretend?
The other problem is the massive use of fake paper plates. A dash camera is great but if there is no way to trace, its just another unsolved motorist complaint... until someone gets shot. Be safe out there, lots of crazy, evil people filled with rage, no morals and on drugs.
The government isn't interested in solving the problems it creates. Why would it clean up it's own mess. These are not isolated incidents, it's common because something is generating these types of people.... I wonder who? You think that lunatic was born insane? Nope. Something created it. Most people refuse to think past their own nose.
And she didn't call 9-1-1, and drove next to the car so that she could be shot. Very intelligent.
In florida if someone points a gun at you while driving you can shoot them. There was a video of some guy flashing his gun at another driver in florida a fews years back and the driver pulled out his gun and shot threw his windshield at the other driver and they found it to be lawful.
Not worth it. An idiot shot at me one night on the Palmetto. I cut him off as he was doing 40 in the left lane. I didn't shoot back, I drove home. I had the balls, but also a bigger brain.
@@Plata-ori-plumbu well my life is worth it. so if someone shoots at me I'm shooting back. I'm not going to give someone the opportunity to take my life when I could have shot back and potentially saved mine.

It's because our citizens have lost respect, have no concept of honor. Degrade of family........
Another case of gun being used to protect oneself.
Hey look someone’s waving a gun at me, I’ll just pull up alongside them as they changed lanes and are slowing down….WTF is wrong with that driver to think to do that? If she is that dumb after being threatened, I have cause to believe a mile or 2 before the incident, she pulled a bonehead maneuver and drove the people in the white car nuts.
Tail gating is out of control.
Should've called 911 immediately, dropped back and trailed informing police of the location of the car.
Why does she have as many cameras rigged onto her car as a Hollywood movie set?
it's just two dashcams. Pretty common configuration
This kind pf behavior should automatically result in a loss of car, license, and guns.
Her following distance was too close. That is why. She was less than one car length and was/is totally oblivious to how her poor driving habits caused the interaction.
While this behavior is criminal, She was prob tail gating which is very common in heavy traffic. Should show the entire video of when she got brake checked then backed off.
Thank God the girl is ok
If she has bad history and this keeps happening, she likey is an extremely aggressive driver but likely has no idea. Most people these days drive like they want to kill everyone else on the road, then when someone gets upset about it and they find a problem, they're shocked about it.
Ignorance meets aggression, that's America's roadways today.
Either that or people are literally unhinged

We all need to be focused and drive like we have precious cargo on board, im not saying this woman was driving bad I’m just saying out of all the years I’ve driven, when I drive right nobody bothers me, sure there are others who you have to worry about on the road. It’s simple though, you see stupid drivers, you avoid them use a different lane or like I’ve already seen in these comments, take a different route. 99.9% of the time if you are not doing wrong and are keeping up with traffic not going too slow then no one is going to mess with you
If I were her, I will let them go, create a distance and never approach them. And the last one, I would never give an interview with all of my identity as clear as sunny day, especially if I plan to report to the cop.
why ? you know exactly why.
I wish she had called 911 as it happened. I doubt they'll be found without a plate number.
Some cars and trucks have a sign that says "makes stops frequently" "stay back" this guy just waves a gun around instead.
