I would advise against this, as it damages your turbocharger. The blow off (or in the case of 1.8t, diverter) valve is there to prevent the turbo from surging, which besides damaging it also produces the cool sound. Also will actually make the car go a little worse before turbo spools up, but that is the lesser problem in my opinion.

Tested on a MK5 Golf with the 1.4L Twincharged. Mercedes W176 A250. Without any issues or codes. The Golf is a champ, Bypass airbox, Unplug diverter valve and remove exhaust collar no codes just dumb, fun noises. Soon to test in MK5.5 Polo GTI 1.8T and a Audi 8P 1.8T

I also have a tuned/modified 1.8t and hey just so you know these cars are not made for turbo flutter, it's a really bad idea, it's destroys your turbo and it hurts your engine. If you want to hear flutter I recommend to install a BMC air filter and a forge dumper valve and you can hear the air filter flutter which is pretty similar sound to the one on the video.
B6 has three 1.8T engines : 150hp, 163hp, 190hp. The last one has engine code BEX and can be recognised by red T letter on the boot door and on the motor cover there are all red signs : 1.8 TURBO
Frankie Flores it’s been so long since I did my deletes I don’t remember which solenoid is the n80? But it is important to leave any sensors plugged in or else the car won’t run right

You effectively removed the engine's ability to vent excess pressure from the pipes after throttle plate closes. All that air pressure suddenly doesn't get consumed by the engine anymore so it goes the only way it can, back trough the compressor wheel which is still spinning. The wheel cutting through this air is producing this sound. It's a bad thing because it stalls the wheel and stresses the thrust bearing. Tl;dr This is bad. Don't do this mod if you want your engine to operate healthy and don't want to service your turbo soon 🤷♀️
@@travis420j6 doubt it. Ove done it to one of mine (volvo s60 2.0 T) and the car performed worse, like 20-30 hp less maby, but the sound was awsome. Its not good for the turbo, but it doesent destroy your turbo instantly. But it does putt extra strain on diffrent parts.

Wonginism unplugging things on these motors is always a bad idea, throws codes and sends into limp mode

FYI, flutter is cool on these cars, I had that myself but it is soooo bad for your turbo and can damage it. Its just not worth it.
Just remove you're stock air filter BOCKS and replace it with a open filter and it flutters
