Thanks jordan! I’ve been in the inner circle for a month or so since having my son! He’s 10 months old and getting to the gym is so hard! I know I need to take care of myself for so many reasons as a new mom- one of which being able to keep up with him!! The inner circle is a great program now with the app and I hope to be able to continue with it!
Hey Jordan, just wanted to take a minute to say thank you, and share how you have helped me completely change my life the last few years! In 2018 I decided I wanted to join the military. Unfortunately, I was 120Lbs over the maximum weight for my height. I tried all the crash diets I could find on google for the next year, and I ended the year only 6 pounds closer to my goal. In the verge of giving up, I stumbled across one of your videos. I spent the next 2 weeks watching over a hundred hours of your videos, taking notes and creating a plan. Fast forward to April 1st of 2021, I had dropped 125Lbs and passed my entry physical. I then had to wait 9 months to actually ship out to boot camp, and I had to stay below that max weight! I had to weigh in once a month, and once again your videos helped guide and motivate me every step of the way! I’ve been in the military for a year and a half now, and it is truly thanks to you for being so blunt, yet kind in your videos. And also for taking the time to explain the “why” in all of your videos! I’m still not at the point where I’m comfortable taking my shirt off, but confidence in my belly and overall physique is my next goal, and I’m sure your videos will continue to guide me and motivate me! Thank you for being such a genuine, kind and supportive person! You’re truly an inspiration!
This is why I follow you, Jordan. You're not afraid of sharing and explaining your trials and errors. You talk to us about what mistakes you've made, but more importantly, what you learned and how you grew from it. That's how we become better and help others do the same. Love you!!!
Great Q&A! The last one is solid gold!!! I'm 59 and the best financial advice I ever received was "pay yourself first." My husband received similar advice about maxing out his retirement contributions as soon as possible. We were each in our 20s. It didn't take us long to figure out that we couldn't pay ourselves AND afford credit card debt. We became non-negotiable about building our emergency fund for unexpected expenses or loss of a job. We did without a lot of things our friends considered "must have" purchases. We bought used cars and drove them until they died. There were many ways our priorities shifted from consuming to saving. It was sometimes hard, but today we are 100 percent debt free and have a nice little nest egg heading into retirement. Pay yourself first and never look back!
Can’t stress how much I loved this Q&A, so much practical advice in several areas of life, not just losing the last 10lbs which is what made me click on this one. I’m going to share this video with my 21 and 25 year old immediately. On another note, I’m turning 50 in 2 days, I’ve lost almost 60lbs over the last year and I know YOU will be the one to help me reach my goal which happens to be losing 10-12 more lbs. and toning/becoming stronger. Thank you! Keep inspiring others, Jordan, it’s your gift and I love that you just wanna share it with others!!
You videos are so solid and down to earth. You make things seem doable and less daunting. I also appreciate that you answer questions that might seem silly or basic without making someone feel like an idiot for asking them. Also the budgeting tidbit was nice and practical!
Just joined the IC and I really love the monthly editions! I also appreciate that Jordan wrote me personally and didnt send a automated e mail as i joined !! Now, i am gonna get f*****g strong lets go
Thank you for that! That was exactly what I needed! I lost around 25kgs after pregnancies and I am at my lowest weight ever. Now I am trying to tone up and lose the last little of weight. So this information is super helpful!
I’m a licensed mental health therapist and you explained anxiety and worry perfectly. I also like Henry fords quote “ if you think you can or you can’t you are right”
My favorite part about these videos ( besides the great information) is that I love walking too them. Thank you for the time and effort you put in giving us amazing content. Much love Kim
Yes, I would love a separate video dedicated to your favorite ab exercises! This video is awesome as are all of your videos! I’ve watched so many! Grateful for you!!!
I love how you debunk myths and cover 2-3 different sides of things and how you make many things so individual. I really like how you dissect WHY people even have the questions and then still give answers
The explanation of how to lift with shoulder presses was awesome- I struggle with shoulder exercises- they are rounded forward and are lax so click and pop quite a bit.
Would love a video on your favorite core exercises. Also just wanted to share on how my husband and I deal with alot of our daily stress/anxiety. We have been together for 20+ yrs and we make a point daily to take 5-10 minutes just venting or just talking about everything that may bother us (sometimes more time is spent lol) which has helped us not bottling anything in and helps me with my anxieties.
That’s what I love the most about listening to you, you’re a person that really thinks before acting, you think about the consequences that the action will bring you (talking about the fight conversation)
I came for the last 10-pound loss info, but got so much more! I'd never heard the tip before about protecting the shoulder during lifting by focusing on grip strength. Also, I think you've articulated very clearly why I've always had a "meh" attitude about planks compared to other ab exercises. Thank you.
I would love a video on abs. I was earlier also of the opinion that it is not necessary to do them if you are doing compound lifts, but now even though I know that is not the case I still am not doing it because I am overwhelmed by the amount of exercises. It would be so helpful if you did a video showing the basic or most effective once. Thanks so much in advance!
Thanks Jordan, I had never heard the concept of squeezing the dumb bells tightly, I always thought it was the opposite. Will definitely be trying that moving forward to increase stability.
Conveniently I found that there is a new video just as I’m brewing my pot of coffee. Great video and big congratulations to nieszkag for your weight loss so far!
I would love another video on how you handle your finances. It’s always nice to hear different points of view. I’m going to try that saving a certain amount first and see how that goes!
Really enjoy all your videos. Really appreciated the advice on the last 10 pounds. Ive lost 70 pounds over the last 2 years. I agree that burnout is real but so is the worry when you increase calories to maintenance. Thats so hard to switch gears. Thanks
Loved that this video was actually a questions video while also answering the title question. And the answer to the title question was not at all what I expected! You always do a great job of providing the information in an understandable way
Currently following an eating plan that includes 2 snacks a day. Thanks for mentioning that 3 meals a day is fine if you're satisfied with that schedule. Looking forward to watching more videos.
What an excellent tip on having a right grip for dumbbells stability. I implemented it in my workout today and it helped making me feel so strong. Thanks Jordan! Love your videos for addressing such issues which most others don't even notice! ❤
I tuned in for the advice on the last 10 pounds. I'm not quite there, but I've been really focused on weight training/resistance training for the last year and adding more protein into my diet...and I'm close, but I have been thinking about taking some time off from the calorie deficit and working on maintenance for awhile. My last 10 years have been a lot of see-sawing (but down over 60 pounds since then...so that's cool.) I'd like to take the see-sawing out of the journey from here on out, and this is a different approach for me to consider. So thanks much!
Just started watching your videos….. they are very real and honest…. Been struggling with weight loss for a while and hope your videos will inspire me again👍
Love your insight on worry and living a meaningful life. I just had this exact conversation with my 15yr old daughter, who often loses the joy of the moment by worrying about negative things that will likely never happen. Agree 💯 with your perspective and how you frame it!
Thanks - I wouldn’t usually watch q&a videos but watched this one because of the title, and it was actually the bit about abs that is most helpful to me. I’ve been skipping the ab component of my program due to the perceived “extra” time it requires but I’ll make sure to keep working on them now.
been off IG for about a yr now and ive missed seeing/hearing your content. when i saw this recent upload on my YT, i was so exited to see you!!! always luffed your energy and advice.
Great video! My daughter is in Karate and some days it’s a struggle for her to stay get motivated. I’m hoping she grows to really enjoy it. Loved the finance segment! Yes for saving! Thanks for the tips!
I'm so glad you talked about snacking vs. fewer/bigger meals. My partner prefers snacking and I can manage my calorie deficit better with bigger meals, which sometimes makes me eat more volume at one meal than him. That has made me feel a bit nervous at times, so I'm glad you said it's not wrong and can actually be beneficial for a fat loss phase to manage hunger. Thank you for that :)
The last two questions were clutch for me today. "Don't focus on the outcome, instead focus on what you can do to execute the plan.". Finding joy in the journey is so important! ❤
I received your email this morning and was intrigued by the title of your video to watch. I appreciated you discussing the value of eating bigger meals vs grazing all day and allowing yourself to feel full. Currently 7 months pregnant and I plan to join the Inner Circle once I have baby and am cleared to exercise again! Thanks for your expertise and simple, no bullsh*t approach to fitness, life and finances. Great advice!
This is exactly what I needed to watch today. Thank you Jordan for the rational words! You literally talked me off a ledge, I was in the midst of convincing myself that I needed to big time restrict today after an indulgent holiday
This video could not have come at a better time! Thank you, Jordan!! I am now at a point of struggling with a last bit of weight. Will try moving into maintenance for a bit. Thank you!!
The losing the last 10lbs question has been incredibly helpful for me. I am very lucky to be one of those people that can maintain their weight stable fairly easy, but recently I had gained roughly 10lbs. I went into the gym 5 weeks ago after a long time without exercising, trained very hard on a mild deficit and I have been able to see myself getting leaner but not gaining the muscle I have been working so hard for. And the problem is the belly fat, it takes it so long to go away, and I could see my thoughts going into a disordered direction. So I have instinctively done exactly what you have just answered, I have gone into maintenance calories and I am seeing the gains now, and I am trying to stay away from obsessing about my belly fat. Thank you for the, as always, incredibly informative video.
Thanks for all the great advice. Loved the info on what she should do after losing 40 pounds and go off the deficit for a bit. You are real and I love listening to you. So thank you.
Just learning now that you’re a fellow Masshole! Born and raised and never leaving! Would love a video on IF- finding it hard to switch to 3 meals a day when I have been IF since 2014. I enjoy a light lunch and large dinner. 🤷🏻♀️
Awesome video, Jordan! Love your discussion on the last 10 pounds vs. the first 40 pounds. It's important to understand how much more time and effort it requires. Not that it isn't worth it (probably isn't for most people), but at least good to understand to set those expectations. Also, I'm hitting up Johnny Lawrence and learning Cobra Kai if I'm getting attacked by someone or multiple people.
I was always fascinated by Jiu-Jitsu, just because it can give me an opportunity to defend myself and confidence that I can do that. And confidence has a great role to play. I don't have the confidence to lose weight or go to gym, I usually don't. It's like I am already believing that this ain't gonna work for me. Thanks for another great video though.
Those answers were super helpful! Especially the last 10 pounds. I lost 50 pounds three years ago and have maintained since then. I have been trying to lose 20 pounds more but it’s definitely SO much more difficult. I’ve been struggling for sure with consistency, especially on the weekends. It’s crazy when you’ve come so far you think you’ve got this, but you just come across a new set of challenges lol your videos have been insanely helpful on my entire journey. Thank you so much Jordan!!! You are truly changing lives with all of the information and support. You and Susan are angels!
Thank you Jordan for discussing the advantages of machines vs dumbells when discussing the shoulder press. I have started working on the machines for the past three weeks to help me increase muscle and lose fat. I wondered whether dumbells were better. I like that you said machines take the stability out of the equation and allows you to just focus on the muscle.
Please make a video about how to train core properly. I really love your response about self defense. 10years ago 2 men attacked me on my morning run. I started kickbox to learn how to defense, and first thing they told me, run away as quickly as you can. Then we learnt some self defense 👍🏻
Super great video! I really like the format! With regards to the question about BJJ for self-defense, out of curiosity, have you ever tried Krav Maga? Also, I’d definitely be interested in hearing you share more about your perspectives and approach to finances. 👍🏼
This was really solid and practical advice on all aspects. Im usually hesitant to hear advice from people in the fitness world but even down to your financial advice was practical for anyone. Newer listener but definitely planning on hearing more from you 👍🏻
I enjoyed your video especially the discussion about whether you really need to work abs if you lift heavy. I have been neglecting that ab work lately and this gave me the kick I needed to start doing it again.
Love this Jordan. Especially the “working for free” section. I hope more people join the IC when they hear this. Lotty ❤ and the Seneca too. Love that 😊
Thanks for the squeezing the weights tip for stability. I have been doing dumbell bench and shoulder presses since I do not have a gym buddy to spot me. I have noticed my lack of stability in lifting with two separate weights, so I look forward to improving this with your squeezing the weight advice.
Thank you! Makes me so happy to hear :)
Would love to see a separate video on abs. Including at home exercises with no fancy equipment and easy on the back. Thank you!
Me too! Please, Jordan.
I’d love a separate video for core exercises! I sit at a desk all day for work and would specifically love to see exercises for counteracting that.
Hey Jordan, just wanted to take a minute to say thank you, and share how you have helped me completely change my life the last few years!

I just heard a quote the other day that goes something like, "People are going broke trying to look rich." That couldn't be more accurate!

I really like the honest straight forward way that you talk about everything
Thank you for that! That was exactly what I needed! I lost around 25kgs after pregnancies and I am at my lowest weight ever. Now I am trying to tone up and lose the last little of weight. So this information is super helpful!
Yes please!!! Ab video. Been ignoring that area. Splitting upper and lower and never doing any ab work ugh. Best effective ab exercises from Jordan!
Stopping the calorie deficit is so scary. I haven't watched your videos as much lately, and I am glad I took the time today.
Timing couldn’t be more perfect for this video! Appreciate the descriptions on how to have good form - play doh is a good one!
uf! what a relief to hear i'm not alone w/the gym anxiety (also been going anyway forever, i think it comes from insecurities in alllll aspects)
23:00 the titular "losing those last 10lbs" Q/A
Thanks Jordan! I am channeling my 90 year old self and need to be proud to get my butt to the gym.
I’m a licensed mental health therapist and you explained anxiety and worry perfectly. I also like Henry fords quote “ if you think you can or you can’t you are right”

Loved the ab section! I appreciate that you’re willing to change your opinion on something you put out in your earlier content.
Really enjoyed the ab exercises vs lift heavy section! Thank you!
The explanation of how to lift with shoulder presses was awesome- I struggle with shoulder exercises- they are rounded forward and are lax so click and pop quite a bit.
Big fan of videos like this, it’s interesting when someone has a question you might have and think you might be the only one thinking of that.
Yes, I agree on the core work and also all exercises…a lot to say for working in different planes of motion…for life 😊
That’s what I love the most about listening to you, you’re a person that really thinks before acting, you think about the consequences that the action will bring you (talking about the fight conversation)
No nonsense video! Always simplifying weight loss and and staying active.
I came for the last 10-pound loss info, but got so much more! I'd never heard the tip before about protecting the shoulder during lifting by focusing on grip strength. Yes that would be great! I feel overwhelmed with too many options!
Super helpful, as always. Regarding the size of meals, since I've been focusing on higher protein, my ravenous hunger has GREATLY subsided.
Yes please on the Core Video! I never thought of it that way (the bracing), always learning something new from you 😁
Followed you forever! Everytime you share, I learn from you!
I would love another video on how you handle your finances. It’s always nice to hear different points of view. I’m going to try that saving a certain amount first and see how that goes!
Really liked the info on small snacks vs. bigger meals.
Jordan, would love to see a core series... your content is great! Thank you!!
Hearing to take a break from loosing those last so many pounds was great! I need to apply this myself.
Yes! Would love a video on your finance strategies. I'm a huge spender and need some help over here.
Love all your content! Thank you Jordan!
Really enjoy all your videos. Really appreciated the advice on the last 10 pounds. Ive lost 70 pounds over the last 2 years. I agree that burnout is real but so is the worry when you increase calories to maintenance. Thats so hard to switch gears. Thanks
Please do the core video! I struggle lying on my back, so I'm very open to any suggestions and guidance. Thank you so much for your content!
Your videos are so informative and easy to watch. I enjoy your podcast too. Keeps me informed and on track with my health goals.
Liked the core part, please do make a video in regards to your favorite ab exercises in all the ranges and planes of motion :)
I love your comments on core work. I feel so much better now that I started adding in specific core work again.
Loved that this video was actually a questions video while also answering the title question. And the answer to the title question was not at all what I expected! You always do a great job of providing the information in an understandable way
Excellent video and Definitely YES to a video about abs exercises best/worst/frequency/etc, etc.Thank you
Currently following an eating plan that includes 2 snacks a day. Thanks for mentioning that 3 meals a day is fine if you're satisfied with that schedule. Looking forward to watching more videos.
Yes please to the separate core video. Thanks for all you do ❤
What an excellent tip on having a right grip for dumbbells stability. I implemented it in my workout today and it helped making me feel so strong. Thanks Jordan! Love your videos for addressing such issues which most others don't even notice! ❤
Just found this channel, love your open and honest approach dude! Thanks Jordan 👍

Love your direct approach and honesty. The last 10 and the money bits were great!
First video I have watched on RUclips of you 👍🏻 love it
Love your advice on the last 10 pounds!!
been off IG for about a yr now and ive missed seeing/hearing your content. when i saw this recent upload on my YT, i was so exited to see you!!! always luffed your energy and advice.
You're incredibly kind thank you so much!
Great video! My daughter is in Karate and some days it’s a struggle for her to stay get motivated. I’m hoping she grows to really enjoy it. Loved the finance segment! Yes for saving! Thanks for the tips!
I would LOVE to see a core focused video!!
Great variety of q&a. Honest answers and great examples. Don’t focus on the outcome. Love it.
You are so cool, always sharing such great knowledge and giving great advice!
It's been a while since I worked out. No better way to get back to it than waching your videos and getting a free month in the Inner Circle😊
This video could not have come at a better time! Thank you, Jordan!! I am now at a point of struggling with a last bit of weight. Will try moving into maintenance for a bit.
Thank you!!

Thanks for all the great advice. Loved the info on what she should do after losing 40 pounds and go off the deficit for a bit. You are real and I love listening to you. So thank you.
Wao love this video! The finance advise was the best! Please do a video about it!
Just learning now that you’re a fellow Masshole! Born and raised and never leaving! Would love a video on IF- finding it hard to switch to 3 meals a day when I have been IF since 2014. I enjoy a light lunch and large dinner. 🤷🏻♀️
You are just amazing! Thank you for sharing so much information and you tell the truth!
I really appreciate the in depth discussion about core and core work. It's a helpful reminder that I need to do more core workouts :)
I absolutely love how you always explain in detail for us newbies to understand. Love all your knowledge!❤

New subscriber here! I'm looking forward to using the tip to squeeze during the press to stabilize.
You had me at Seneca quote😎. Love your channel, new sub 👊
Love this video. Such helpful answers, thank you for your time and work ethic
Would love the ab video! Great info. Those last 10lbs are a doozy. I’m not giving up yet though! I want to try just to see what it’s like.
Loved this video! Especially "the last 10 lbs" portion. That is something I really struggle with- time to focus on strength!!!
So glad to hear it! And FYI you win a FREE month in The Inner Circle! Email me jordan@syattfitness.com and I'll get you set up.
You are amazing, thank you!
Very helpful information on so many things! Thanks so much
Squeezing the dumbbells for a shoulder press is my next try! I’ve been struggling. Thank you!!
Newer listener but definitely planning on hearing more from you 👍🏻
You're incredibly kind thank you so much!
Thank you! 🎉
I appreciate all you do!
I enjoyed your video especially the discussion about whether you really need to work abs if you lift heavy. I have been neglecting that ab work lately and this gave me the kick I needed to start doing it again.
Yes please on core exercises.
Love this Jordan. Especially the “working for free” section. I hope more people join the IC when they hear this. Lotty ❤ and the Seneca too. Love that 😊
I would love to see some content around life and balance (nutrition, family, work, travel, lifting, hobbies....those are the things in my life anyway)
Great coaching on “the last 10 pounds” Appreciate your down to earth approach to coaching! Yes please create a video on your fav core exercises.
Thanks for all of the helpful information.
Whoa, I really needed the advice on the last 10 lbs. I just thought I wasn't doing enough. Thank you for the helpful tip!
Thanks for the squeezing the weights tip for stability. I have been doing dumbell bench and shoulder presses since I do not have a gym buddy to spot me. I have noticed my lack of stability in lifting with two separate weights, so I look forward to improving this with your squeezing the weight advice.
