50 pounds down!! Successfully maintained that weight loss for two and a half years even while recovering from a back injury for the past 7 months, and now I’m ready to lose my last 15 pounds!!! Your videos change my life after gaining weight from years of yo-yo dieting, eating WAY too little then binging every weekend, SLOW AND STEADY really does win the race and I am so very excited to start this new chapter and crush my new weight loss goals. THANK YOU JORDAN, seriously ❤️

Hi :) I just had a baby 3 months ago and I gained 60lbs during my pregnancy and I’m currently 15lbs down. Everything you mentioned in this video is so spot on with my experience. Getting only 4hrs of sleep and small naps really affect my hunger. Dehydration from breastfeeding is real af! Regardless of all this I kept my focus and haven’t missed a training session since my doctor gave me the OK to lift weights again. It’s such a mental battle. This past weekend I had an unintentional re-feed day because I was so hungry and felt guilty afterwards but hopped back on track. 3 days later I hit a new low weight and I’m super happy. It’s tough being a mom to a baby also a 3y/o toddler and trying to work on your goals but it’s completely possible! Everything in this video is something all new moms need to hear to help them with their postpartum journey because this information is gold and will help you reach your goals sustainably. This is the reassurance I needed, thanks for posting this video!

About 5 years ago I had only protein diet , I lost 24 pounds but unfortunately I gained them again plus 20 pounds on top! That’s because of so much restrictions and overeating 😢. But now I am on a new track , I exercise and eat my favourite healthy food in a moderate deficit . I lost in 1,5 week about 2 pounds. For my past myself that would not be a result and I would quit again ! But now due to Jordan’s channel I understand that’s good result and I keep going ! Thanks 🙏 Jordan

I started my cut on 9/25 after watching you on IG. After one week, I was down 5.5lbs, wow! Then a couple days later I went up .6 and I've been hanging there for 5 days now, but thanks to you, I'm just keeping at it, whereas in the past I would have given up because "it's not working". Yesterday, for my anniversary I ate in a surplus and I know the scale will likely be up tomorrow, but I'm just going to keep going. Thank you for this new mindset!!! 💙

Hey, I wanted to start with a quick thank you with the video TITLE as well as the actual information !! The title because loosing weight is a struggle and boring and quit frankly I don't want to live a boring life any more that's why I want to thank you for your title … mostly the word ENJOYING is what's helping a lot. I understand now mental stability does affect my weight loss too. Positive words, thoughts, images are part of my weight loss. I'm at the start of regaining my healthy lifestyle back, I've been doing some reteach on the "do's and don'ts" of loosing weight and it's so much out here but this video has cleared a lot of things up "priory's and bonus 1&2" . I start my day (I'm on day 2) with just taking my baby Rosco for a walk ( yes he's my baby and he is a DOG :) ) a small walk from my house which is at the back of the community to mid way through the community, my goal WAS to reach the front and back but now midway is ok and I'm okay with that because I'm being active. Ill start actual workouts in two weeks. I don't want my body to go into over load mode and hurt myself. As for dieting I was focused on all three macros but now I'm going to make sure protein is my main focus in all of my meals. Also I'm so glad I can add some extra eating but not too much into my schedule and not feel bad about it AT ALL thanks for letting me know that !!!! So lets not turn this comment into a book and this is the START of my new healthy active enjoyable life !!! Oh yeah don't be bothered by my youtube username :)

Here's the thing...I'm a coach, I've been doing this for a very long time, but sometimes it feels so good to hear an amazing and experienced coach validate what one has been preaching for almost 2 decades. My fitness journey currently is that I am not focused on workouts and diet too much. I have changed my job, quit the job that I didnt like and for some reason Im just Enjoying my life right now eating sometimes not too healthy. Thats a weird phase in my life because I usually was on track with workout and nutrition but right now I’m reaaally balanced and Im enjoying myself. Working out every once in a while. Probably this phase will pass and I will be ready to be back eating more healthily. For now I’m so Ok with my life and just watching your vids and being inspired to be in a cut at some point :) all the best from Warsaw

And I always remember how you once said, “if your friend came up to you and told you they only lost 4 pounds in 3 weeks, would you tell them to just f*ck it and stop? No you wouldn’t. So don’t be such an a*shole to yourself.” Helps me so much. Also, so great to see Mike! The book you guys wrote is so great, thank you!!

For as long as I've been an instagram follower of yours, it's shameful I'm just now exploring your RUclips. But also perhaps unintentionally deliberate. Five years ago, I developed a stress fracture near me right sacroiliac joint at 28 years old. Overuse and ignoring my body's pain responses resulted in crippling pain for at least two years. Then, having a confirmed diagnosis and physical therapy, I had a difficult time coping with the loss of empowerment. Alcohol has since kept me crippled despite my physical wounds healing. I've only recently left a stressful job and am trying to focus on gaining my power back, and this video gives me positive reminders and hope that I can find myself again 💜

This was very helpful. I have been doing mine for less than a week. I am trying hard to mentally accept the lbs as not just the most important thing and if it goes up to not panic and quit. I have to work on sleep for me. After having Covid and almost losing my life over a year ago I have developed insomnia and struggle to go to bed before 3-4 am. I have developed long haulers with Covid and times I’m just drained and in joint pain but try to now not make that as excuse to not pay attention to what I eat. You have been so helpful and I love how you are showing us day by day visually how to work with this. I have well over 100 lbs to lose but I am not hard on myself like I have been in the past. Thank you

I love following your cut on Instagram! It’s opened my eyes and made me realise maybe I’m not ‘broke’ or my metabolism isn’t, not to be thrown off by the scale fluctuations and just keep going 🤞 I struggle with binge eating and easily triggered by the scale, and feeling hungry especially on weekends when I’m not training in the gym or work routine but your talk about refeeding every 7-10 days made me rethink the weekends, instead of beating myself up and binging allow myself an extra few calories on a Sunday to help my hunger and know that I’ve not fucked up, go off track and ruin my progress.. yes the scale may go up the next day but your attitude towards it has made me see the long term benefit of it rather than the short term scale jump 🙏🙏 ❤

Currently on my own cut, 40 pounds to lose so it wont be a short cut in this instance. Started out in a family where fitness and health were not a priority. I spent many of my early years hating my body, thinking I had to be stuck, yo-yo dieting, waist training, eating close to nothing, the list goes on. When my father died at the early age of 56 years old, I had a turning point and decided I needed to make a change for myself. I started off weighing 200 lbs in 2014. I am currently working to keep building muscles and recompose my body weighing in at 158. The most important thing is that I have healed my relationship with food and my self love.

I wouldn’t call it a mini cut because I have 40 pounds to go 😅 But seeing your weight fluctuations helps me stay motivated and just keep going!! In the past I've done macro counting, Weight Watchers... all the things, but just trying to lose weight as fast as humanly possible. Which hasn't worked! This is the first time I've focused on going slow and steady, and as you say, not quitting as soon as the scale stays the same or increases! I'm actually watching this as my "reignition" into my minicut/overall being healthier. I started my fitness/weight loss journey in 2017 and it completely changed my life. I became a better person over the last 5 years simply because I learned how to enjoy fitness and take care of myself. I had my first baby in May 2021 and.... Well, I've been inconsistent with workouts and eating. Lately, it's almost like I've given up and it's the least I've been in the gym in the past 5 years. I have valid excuses like exhaustion, work, shoulder injury, etc. But to be honest, they're all EXCUSES whether they are valid or not. If I want something, I CAN make it happen. So today I'm making a plan that I can stick to even on the weeks I'm not motivated. I enjoy your Instagram content so much, so I'm here watching your RUclips videos to get some fresh perspective (versus my typical "I know what to do I'm just not doing it" mindset). Anyway. Thanks for all you do. Sincerely. I message you sometimes on IG but it is IMPOSSIBLE for you to see or reply to everything. But I hope you see this or the messages that I send about you and NeeNee being the absolute best parents ever. You're changing lives and making an impact on this Earth every day.

I’ve been trying to lose weight my entire adult life, got married- couldn’t do it, had babies (one girl and then 2 years later twin girls- who by the way are doing gymnastics and ju jitsu 💪🏻). I workout and eat healthy but it feels like no matter what I do (eat less, eat more, whatever) the scale has been the same the last 15 years +/- 10 lbs. I’ll lost a few pounds- then it’ll stall for weeks, or I’ll injure myself or there’s a vacation or whatever it is and I’m right back where I started. However content like yours is so inspiring and makes me think ‘why can’t I do it too’ but it just seems like I’ll never get there. I’m in the cycle and can’t get out- currently in the frustrated pity party, but I know soon I’ll get the fire under my ass to keep it up and we’ll see 🤞🏻

Really enjoyed the content. I've lost over 80 lbs and have been able to keep it off over a year now. I've been struggling lately with wanting to build mass and knowing that my weight will increase a bit, so trying to balance that in my mind is hard sometimes. You're steps/priorities and the q&a has helped put it in perspective!

I accidentally started a mini-cut. I realized I was eating food for all the wrong reasons and the food I was choosing was making me feel sick, so I changed my mindset over food, and the weigh has gradually started dropping. Your daily weigh-ins have helped so much, as has the way you normalize weight fluctuation over time.
I used to feel bad for only using walking as my method of movement, but I know now that there is nothing to be ashamed of if that is all I can muster in a busy day.
You are one of the only fitness people I still follow, because you are authentic and don't talk sh*t.

Great video! I lost 60lbs and have been able to maintain my weight for 2 years! I recently lost another 5lbs for my wedding but it was mostly water weight. Working on losing another 30 lbs but my body seems to be comfortable at 208lbs. Your videos have been extremely helpful and I'm hoping to continue making progress!

I am on day 2 of my new journey since joining the IC! I am so happy you touched base on re feeds and alcohol as I don’t drink often but I will be this weekend only 6 days into my journey. I am just going to wake up the next day and focus on balanced meals along with hydration.

This video has really opened my eyes! I have been trying to cut my calories way too low and it’s causing me to overeat in the long run. I’m going to up my calories and see how that goes

I have recently started watching a lot of your videos and I read your book Eat It. I have been able to help a lot of moms in their postpartum journeys with things I’ve learned from your book and content. So many moms have a horrible relationship with food and restrict to the point of being miserable! I am now in the middle of my second postpartum journey and eating more than ever, something that use to terrify me. Even though I help others, I still know I do better with support and help too so being a part of the inner circle is something I have really been looking into lately! Thanks for sharing all that you do and congratulations on your daughter!

I love that you’ve taught me not to fear being hungry or fear messing up on day. This weekend I enjoyed the shit out of it but went over my calories and the scale spiked 6lb! Now I know not only did I over eat but I had a heavy leg day and feel great about the scale today! On my way to a consistent week!! Thank you for your content! And Mike needs to be on Instagram! He would make it way more enjoyable! 🤗💪🏼

Working on getting stronger and building running endurance. Completed two 10k races this year and looking to complete a half marathon next year.

This video is so jam packed with such great information and reminders! Thank you for everything you give us! For free no less!
I am struggling with consistency but I haven't given up yet. This video came at just the right time because I was ready to say fuck it on my calories today. It just helps to have those reminders to lift me back up when I'm feeling discouraged. I've noticed that overall my food choices have included more protein and more fiber. That's feeling like a win for me.
My last thing I'm excited about is that my husband is now joining me in a cut! We got a gym membership just yesterday and I'm excited to add some weights to getting my steps.

I am on a mini cut now and am down 4,3 kg in the last 5 weeks! I have been exercising three times a week, have enjoyed myself and I have not been so restrictive as earlier. You have thaught me a lot about dieting and a healthy lifestyle, so thank you!

I love so many things about this video. I hadn't really understood the full impact of a "refeed" day. I can over judge myself for eating more than I think I "should." Doing so on purpose has blown my mind a bit. I also appreciate your balanced approach with alcohol and acknowledging that there can be benefits to moderate alcohol use for those of us that can do so. Thanks, Jordan!

Thank you for this! I have been in a calorie deficit for the last few weeks and the scale is showing the downward trend, but it is going so slowly. You, once again :), reminded me that that is OKAY! I also realize that I need to look more carefully at my nutrition while in this deficit. I need to prioritize the protein at every meal to stay satiated! Slow and steady wins the race!!

Your information has been an absolute game changer mentally and physically for me, thank you so much! After watching this video I really looked at my food I’ve been eating and although I’m under calories I am way under for protein and way over for fat so that explains the way I have been feeling, hungry and unsatisfied, and something I need to focus on. Thanks for making the list today, good reset mentally for me.

Thank you for this video and it’s timing. I joined IC a few months back and I waited til I thought “yes I am ready”. I have been upset with myself because I do well for several days and I let a binge take over! Today I started out my day focusing on my protein intake. I don’t drink, so I do have a leg up on that, BUT food is my vice 😬. I am going to come back to this when I feel myself slipping. I feel so much better when I am choosing proteins and high fiber foods❤

This video is just what I needed to get my a$$ in gear. I've gained quite a bit of weight over the past year and I was not in the right mind frame to revisit what I have done in the past. Saw your email and while supervising middle school detention, I took a look (with headphones on, of course). I am so excited to get back into this journey and revisit your Instagram page and take notes to get my life back on track and become a healthier version of me.

Love these videos and the content! I am so happy to be modeling balanced eating with my kids - they request veggies all the time and will ask for seconds of those (along with their favorite Mac and cheese) without being prompted. I love that they see me eating my BAS daily and request salad too. I am down 15+ lbs since I started tracking and liking to be near 20 by the end of October. I am slow and steady - riding the ups and downs as they come. Thanks to you, I now just see data and no emotional response. Can’t wait for the next video to drop!

Last year I really crushed my goals. Since around Christmas 2021 I kind of just slowed down on my consistency then by April I wasn’t even tracking, hitting the gym or paying attention. Welcome back 20 ish lbs by September … anywho! Today was my first day back in the gym with an IC workout. Been tracking food and walking every day since the 2nd. Aiming to stick to my calorie deficit through the end of the year. SW: 212.6 CW: 210.2 solid start. Thanks for all your content and the IC 👏🏼

Watching you has helped changed my mindset on a lot of things. I'm currently on a fitness journey to gain muscles. I have the strength but dont see it 🥺 Is been so hard because it comes with gaining weight in areas I don't want but following you and having you on repeat helps my mindset to trust the process and not rush it or do short cuts during my journey. I would love to try the inner circle and get some guidance on a mini cut. 🙏 ❤️

Being in a dieting/cutting phase at the same time that you are doing this mini cut (I am also just trying to tighten up/fit better in my jeans) has been EXTREMELY good for my mentality around everything. Usually weight loss feels extremely restrictive and I always end up giving up or going too extreme for too long and ducking my body up. I’m so grateful for the content you put out, especially the anecdotal stuff. It makes it so much easier for simple folk like me to digest and apply it to my life.
