EDIT: THE MIRROR ON PC IS ALWAYS AVAILABLE THROUGH AN OPTION IN THE HD REFLECTIONS SCRIPT INI FILE. CONSOLE ONLY HAS MIRROR ON HOOD CAM MODE SADLY.

Shit. I never knew that this race is difficult because of CPU. Next time I will take the CPU out of my PC and then make a whole NFSU1 walkthrough. 😂

Btw, that S2000 looks sick, but if you actually want to have easier time beating the game take RX7 as soon as it's available
I've beat the game several times and know about the RX-7. I don't use it because it's almost too good. I like a challenge anyway

I can stand the AI being in my rear bumper all the time and coming back from absolutely wrecking their cars on the track,but i can't stand them taking perfect turns with higher speed

Yep. Unless you're on PC and have the HD reflections mod to force it on all cameras, it only shows up on the hood and bumper cams. I completely forgot to mention that in the video.
ah shit there was an option for a mirror? Ive been listening to the engine noises behind me to block them like im playing damn cs...

you need your hearing too, sometimes you just need your eyes on the racing line
My key advice is this: never restart, keep driving no matter what and drive as clean as possible. This way you'll beat it within 5 tries guaranteed

Watching the AI crash into the wall after overtaking you then rocketing off at Mach Jesus riding the wall and throwing sparks the whole way because the rubber-banding broke is the spirit of this game.

Never was able to beat this event first try, even when driving on the limit, because the AI is stupid strong here. However, by my experience, this guide is absolutely on point. Great video, dude! 👏👏

I hate ramming the other drivers, it just feels wrong... even if they're not real people haha.
I hate dirty drivers in racing games as well and try my best to not be one as much as possible. Hell, someone even said to ram them but again, I don't condone that as it develops a bad habit of hitting those you can't out-drive.
I like to fake the ai meaning on an upcoming corner i go to the outside which forces them on the inside, then i go to the inside and i end up cliping them into spinning out or crashing😂
As a Dodge Neon main, i felt that pain at the start.
Nice guide tho. I actually beat this event with the Neon on 2 profiles without restarting once due to me being lucky.
I used the Neon because they have quite a rep for... low reliability. I'm actually a S2K main normally but thanks. I hope others find this guide useful

It reminds me of the same AI opponent cheating while driving the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 C6 in Carbon.
That's why the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 C6 is the top worst overall only in Carbon.
It's a good thing I'm not super crazy about Corvettes. The Viper, however, and the Lancer Evo or Subaru WRX STI. If memory serves me right were awesome cars.

I've seen someone say that ramming the AI will disable their rubberbanding phase for just a bit, but don't quote me on that
It does, which combos with blocking their lines. Sometimes you have to be careful with that. If you defend clean air, they might just ram you into the wall lol. Happened to me a few times.
However, I don't really condone ramming others to win a race, even if it's just CPUs. Just feels dirty.

Or just tap their cars before corners and watch them understeer into the outside walls. That's how I beat it on my 15th try.

Yeaaahhh I realize that after the fact, but when it really mattered was when I showed it being useful in action on the 4th tip. As long as everything else was useful, it's nothing super distracting.
Been playing this fuck ass game on ps2 breaking a controller and currently on event 95 with a RX7 super hard what do you suggest me to do since I’m on the ps2 AND IT DOESNT HAVE THE REARVIEW MIRROR
The same tips in this video should apply minus the mirror since you're on console. Only thing different with E95 is the traffic. Anticipate traffic being in the racing line or around blind corners. Lastly, if it's really that hard, spin the CPU out whenever possible.
If all else fails, downgrading the car's performance is an option. The event takes longer but it makes it easier.

@@notshotti Try all performance parts at level 2 and if that's not enough, level 1.
@@Choccykituwua week later and I’ve steal not beaten it it’s hard keeping track of my car, the 3d map, and keeping looking back on my opponent I usually block my opponent now making the ai go crazy making me to have a good lead it really only takes me to crash into npc vehicles and my car to drift for no reason the breaking on Corners is extremely hard and I usually get passed once in a while by the green s2000 really giving up and thinking about ejecting the disc from my ps2 tray and snapping it in fucking half. What else do you suggest me to try?

AI rubberbanding dont matter if you rubberband harder than the AI
Just get gud
