Your missing the real "Dune 2000" game. It's not the same game as "Dune 2000: Long Live the Fighters" and it's not the game "Dune 2". The Game that is just called, "Dune 2000" Should be on this list as well.
it is dune 2000 its just the console port. I had both the PS1 version and PC version later on. they are both the same games IIRC same mission etc just the pc has obviously better graphics
@@wargames43 Nah, that ain't right. The PC version of DUNE 2000 was sprite-based game, while the console version was low poly 3D, completely different titles.

Remember that the PS1 at that time was far more powerfull and cheaper than a PC in those days its why the PC versions looked way different but the mission everything else was exactly the same. Allot of games from that time where like that. I can know since i own both the PC and PS1 version ;)
I have Dune 2000 on disk somewhere. It was basically a "remastered" version of Dune 2, before remasters became the popular thing that they are today. It had some QOL updates, better graphics and some FMV cutscenes with John Rhys-Davies (Gimli in LOTR) playing the Atreides Mentat. I have never heard or seen anything about Dune 2000: Long Live the Fighters before this video. The footage reminded me of a low-polygon Emperor: Battle for Dune.
We got our first computer in November of 97 and my brother and I played Building Of A Dynasty all the time. I didn't know at that time, that that specific version was that already 5 years old. Played this and a lot of Red Alert Aftermath

The amiga Version of Cryo's DUNE had an amazing music, different from the PC version. Still have it in my mind, after so many years...
