Well Westwood didn't 'leave'. EA bought them out then over time, the people at Westwood who made the good C&C games, left the company. Leaving EA with the brand and IP but not the original creators
I love Generals & Zero Hour a lot! Thanks to modders, you'll get newer features in every mod they make :D I really do hope we'll see these two amazing games again, either as remaster or anew sequel!
CnC 3 tiberium wars is not bad either. I've been playing it since 2010 and I'm still not tired of it. For me, as a person with adhd, this is the only game I've been playing for so long.

Но ЕА решила пристрелить курицу несущую золотые яица, как только та стала приносить прибыль, а не сверх прибыль. Никогда не прощу то что они сделали с тибериевой вселенной . Да сгорят их акции в огне! Да купит их Майкрософт! Что бы они не делали, все равно хуже не сделают.
Ну они и сделали мобильную гриндилку RPG с прокачкой базы и героями, что ещё нужно, плебеи? Я честно когда увидел C&C на мобильных устройствах, я обрадовался, наконец Rasted Warfare (лучшая мобильная RTS) появился конкурент и альтернатива, с сюжетом и классными юнитами. Ага, это не игра, а продукт.

Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge And Tiberrian Sun and Firestorm were the best. I have every game on CD-ROM and dvd-rom. Too bad most of the games don't work anymore on Windows 10 or 11. Have downloaded the ultimate collection, but a lot also don't work. But I have played soooooooo many hours/days in these games, that I am thinking of buying a second handed pc with Windows XP on it. Just to play again Command & Conquer. And losing all track of time again hahaha
If the digital downloads aren't working on your machine then instead of buying a second hand PC just run a virtual machine on your current PC running XP or 7 if that's what you want to do :) be a lot cheaper
I was hoping when they came out with the Remastered Collection that it would be the beginning of a C&C revival, but nope. Since then EA has done nothing with the franchise except release a crappy mobile game.
I will always love cherish and remember having a ton of fun playing the C&C games. My favorite RTS with Starcraft RTS. I have played all back then and finished them all even the bad C&C 4. Maybe the first RTS is Dune 2 but the First RTS that did new evolutionary and fresh things even the box that we select multiple units we see it first in the first game back in 1995 and the vids the acrots the Kane legacy the great dude that did Kane and of course, GDI (Global Defence Initiative) fight always clash and more... My favorite of all is C&C Tiberian Sun but I love Tiberian Wars a lot with its beautiful graphics that even today rule the great Tiberium crystals a lot of well-known actors in TW and even great mods that you can have Titans and Wolverines in TW... I hope that one we will have a new C&C again with Kane Kane will not die and GDI to fight for what remains of Earth aliens and Tiberium of course...👌👌👏👏👍👍

Да блин они не смогли вспомнить для чего были нужны те или иные здания и здание поддержки пехоты превратилось в военный завод. Еще они запороли дизайн дроп подов для штурмовиков и теперь это тупо копирка дроп подов из вахи. А стрелки видать были проездом через вселенную gears of war и захватили там винтовки с цепными пилами. Музыка что в третьей части играет во время победы, играет в меню.... Что бы сделать так плохо, нужно постараться. Нет бы сделать что то по лучше. Да пускай мобильная дрочильня, ок. Но блин сделайте нормальную механику строительства базы и используйте сраные харвестеры и обогатители! Чуть чуть стараний и мозгов и вуаля! Прибыльный клон клош оф клана готов! Нет ЕА хрен ложила на нас и на вселенную....

As a RTS players since my youth from Red alet 2 till Kanes wrath..And its my favorites type of games in my life. I really hope to see soon the continues of Tiberium universe, maybe like kanes finally ascension using the Alien tech & so on maybe a new timeline in space wars start would be somethings else. I like seeing how massive the fan base is here, and ofcourse welcome back commanders.
I enjoyed all the RTS C&C games the same. All for diff reasons. Never played the 1st person shooters. I'm excited for this new RTS game coming out that's very reminiscent of C&C: Tempest Rising. It has a free demo right now on Steam.

RA2 and Yuri's revenge took up a lot of my childhood. Tiberian sun and Warcraft 3 took up a lot of my teens
RA1, RA2, & Generals were absolute game-changers in the RTS landscape.

petroglyph just released early access for 9 bit armies, its no C&C but that who to follow for another remaster like the og and RA.

I can't even imagine the old times spending 15hrs-18hrs playing pixelated RTS 😂 i am a gamer but can't catch up the evolution of PC to play new game.. unlike old days having Pentium I upgrade to 2,3,4 now I'm stuck at 8GB ram no vram and can only play smooth all 4gb ram games 🥲
