Sarge's Heroes and Air Attack were amazing, many fond memories on the PS with friends! I also had World War and World War: Land, Sea, Air but found the difficulty of those 2 brutally hard (combined with the glitchy games) and I could never get more than a few levels in as a kid.
Most of these games qualities were totally dogsht. 3DO released too many games in a short period of time and only a few stuck in the wall as sucesses. There is a reason why the studio went bankrupt lol.
Mobile Ops are last one. Author mess with fact checking. AM3 is fan game, Toy Army Men are chinese fake trying to impersonate AM series (they added Sarge but then removed). Currently which one remain (first version removed from Play Store) versions on Mobile Stores have removed any reference in names or content to AM. Author didnt easiest fact check - try to find such game he list here. It got renamed.
Author here also miss one PS1 game (World War Operation Meldown on PS1 are unrelated game to PC World War amd part of World War PS1 sub-series) - should be listed separate; and he miss one PC game (AM3: Toys in Space).
Army Men: 3D is the first game I remember playing on console, maybe the first game I played, though I also have fond memories of playing some computer games with my Dad and Grandpa.
ARMY MEN VS LEGOS is such a good idea and would probably make a really cool story. You could have the Green and Tan have to fight against the Greys and Legos
I remember playing Army Men Advance on Nintendo Game Boy Advance and Army Men: World War - Final Front on Sony PS2 (as a PS1 game) when I was a preteen and those are the only Army Men games in the series I have every played. Army Men is probably one of the most underrated video game franchises of all time. It's a shame that the American video game company 3DO went out of business in 2003 due to their bankruptcy after poor sales of their games. The rights of Army Men franchise is owned by Take-Two Interactive after 3DO sold their brands and intellectual properties to some other companies I think. Anyway greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪
Sarge's War was the last good one. I still play Army Men RTS every once in awhile, because it was amazing. Just like how I still play Warzone 2100 some times.
yeah I remember picking up major malfunction and I gave up on level 1 when I saw that 1 they killed Sarge in a lame way and 2 the game itself was not anything like the previous titles. Even as a kid I knew it was a massive insult to the originals
There was an Army Men World War with the graphical looks of Army Men Air Tactics-first mission was a D-Day mission for PC. And also Army Men Toys in Space.
Rts was the best single player, and air attack two had the best multiplayer imo. The tug of war mode where you kept trying to move the object further along while also fighting was so much fun!
Oh lord, first games looks terrible, except for the Sarge's Heroes and the Helicopter ones. In my opinion, RTS was the pinnacle of the series, wasted hours playing that bloody game in my childhood.
Seria muito bom um jogo de RTS Army Men no mesmo estilo de Company of Heroes com varias cores e unidades de plástico. Também um novo jogo do Army Men World War.
I used to think that plastic Sarge picked up was chicken lol... I'm considering buying Army Men RTS on steam as I downloaded it back in 2009 and play it on a 3rd party software online and it was tons of fun.
1:00 I remember playing this one on playstation at my cousins. It was so hard we could barely get past level 1 and even if we finally managed to do so I would have low hp and die instantly on level 2.
On the contrary for me, I got Sarge's Heroes 1 & 2 on the N64 and I had a blast. I didn't beat the campaign, but I definitely got a few levels into it. I think I made it to the freezer level, but I also vaguely remember a graveyard with mines and a castle level, I think on the second game and idk about the first one, the multiplayer was also fun as I could destroy my younger sibblings or anyone else who dared to play me. Fridge is the coolest map in my opinion.
@@Expressmusic457 yeah the minefield would get us too cause we had no idea how to use the mine thing that showed us where we were and die and start over
@@Expressmusic457Yeah I remember getting to the final level of Army Men: 3D, but I don't know that I ever finished it because of how cryptic the ending is. Those were the days of being bad at video games, like dying on normal difficulty in Halo.
I've never played that Army Men: Air Combat game for the N64, but I Definitely remember that music that plays in your sample video, that was also used in Battle Tanks: Global Assault! Loved that game
When I was a kid and I played Major Malfunction for the first time I was hoping they would make major malfunction 2 since Hawk survived the explosion in the tool shed but guess they’ll never make it
These games are awesome, yeah I know people don't like them. I think army men toys in space was one of the best army men games I've played. I haven't played them all, but I enjoyed thee one I have! I collect the figurines to. I like how all the levels and weapons are based on real military gear. I know games such as Zelda or final fantasy are popular, but I much prefer things like this or medal of honour!!!! I used to have a PC from 1993 with some old classic floppy disk games. I came home from school in 2001 when I was 12 to find my dad hade taken it down to the dump!!! I went berserk and I have though about my PC for more then 20 years now!!!!
Only i love is Sarge's War. The game was unique and very fun in the Game Cube... the only i have issue is... i hadn't a Memory card xD But i can still playing in Dolphin
I remember an Army Men game where one of the maps was in the backyard of a suburbs home, and there was a toy train track set, and I think you could lift firecrackers using a tow on a helicopter. Does anyone remember which game this was and what the map/mission was called?
This just sums up games in general Early 90's Gameboy, top down style shooter. Fun for what you have. Early 2000's 3D Shooters which was fun as hell with each additional game getting bigger and better 2013 - Shitty childish Wii Game 2017 - Shitty Tower Defense 2024 ? Mobile monitization idle game
Sarge's Heroes and Air Attack were amazing, many fond memories on the PS with friends! I also had World War and World War: Land, Sea, Air but found the difficulty of those 2 brutally hard (combined with the glitchy games) and I could never get more than a few levels in as a kid.
I want a remaster/remake of the RTS games, the Sarge's Heroes games, and Portal Runner
find rising storm 2 they have dlc green army man
yess
They turned it into a shitty tower defense game? Look how they’ve massacred my boy!
Mini Royale on Steam will release soon.
Most of these games qualities were totally dogsht. 3DO released too many games in a short period of time and only a few stuck in the wall as sucesses. There is a reason why the studio went bankrupt lol.

Any PC-Steam games are same. It is fanmade ir fake references (there is both types on Steam i guess).
Author here also miss one PS1 game (World War Operation Meldown on PS1 are unrelated game to PC World War amd part of World War PS1 sub-series) - should be listed separate; and he miss one PC game (AM3: Toys in Space).
That Army Men III is just a fangame and it wasn't even finished. It was cancelled way back in 2016.
You missed Toys in Space
And attack on toys
and home wars two
Juegazo el toys in space❤
And Portal Runner
Portal runner wasn't on this list well
Idk how about yall, but for me best game and my childhood was Army Men RTS. Amazing game.
agree
Toys in Space was also an incredible one for me too
MY CHILDHOOD WAS AMAZING DUE TO THESE GAMES!! 🥰🥰🥰
Yes its amazing
Amen to that :)
The Army Men games were a long way from perfect and the controls were a nightmare but the nostalgia will still live on forever
I want a remaster/remake of army men rts and sarge's war
RTS is by far the best imo. Such a fun a contextualized game
RTS was incredible. I remember playing that for hours when I was in elementary school haha
The reason why their are no remasters because the game didn't get to much popularity and they had to shut down the company for ever
RTS is on sale on steam for 1.75$
RTS is my favorite along with Air attack, these were my childhood games, I wish they made an Army men RTS remake or at least a remaster.
I remember getting the 1st armymen on ps1 when it came out, i played that and twisted metal non stop lol
Same🙃
I played that twisted metal kids version shit so much omg
Army Men: 3D is the first game I remember playing on console, maybe the first game I played, though I also have fond memories of playing some computer games with my Dad and Grandpa.
And now your'e just old 😂
army men 1998 was seriously one of the best games ive ever played. I had SO much fun with that game!
Army Men Two was way better!

It's missing Toys in Space, but regardless, this showed me there were more Army Men games than I thought.
Sarges heroes 2. Classic. The music was badass
Land, Sea, Air was the greatest Army Men game I ever played! The intro was amazing!

If they remake those 3d or air attack with better graphic, its would be a big hit
Army me world war was when I was like damn this isn’t a kids game anymore felt so much more mature lol loved it as a kid
Army Men 98 was one of my favorites
I have fond memories playing this game back in my childhood days and it would be awesome to see these get a remake.
2:25 was as memorable as CODs ‘All Ghillied Up’ mission 😂
Those were the days, I remember how I used to run fast up there to save those 2 guys that jumped with the parachutes
Sarges heroes is by far one of the best games for the n64 and I wish I still had my copy.
These games deserve a second life
Nah, anything now will just be full of 60 euro DLC, heaps of bugs labelled as "early access" and a plethora of microtransactions
Anyone missing these go BUY & PLAY
THE MEAN GREENS - PLASTIC WARFARE (2020)
The devs need to update it!
Army men RTS was so good I played it back to back for years I still miss it
I miss the army men games
What I really saw as a kid playing with my army men toys on the floor:
They sure went downhill..
My personal favorites are the first one and RTS .
The nostalgia makes me tear up ngl. I miss being a child sometimes.
There was an Army Men World War with the graphical looks of Army Men Air Tactics-first mission was a D-Day mission for PC. And also Army Men Toys in Space.
The PC world war was awesome
Army Men World War for PS1 was so dope.
God I wish they would make these games again
Rts was the best single player, and air attack two had the best multiplayer imo. The tug of war mode where you kept trying to move the object further along while also fighting was so much fun!
I see no Toys In Space here, the Army Men III
2006 is on another level piece of art truly ❤
Army Men: Toys in Space?
Loved Sarge's Heroes, played that game like crazy with my sons. Green Hawk Platoon coming out soon looks cool!
Possibly one of the best game games of my young adulthood
Ugh, sometimes i miss 3DO lol
4:46 Oh hey, it's the console version.
army men toys in space was another gem
Armymen RTS is still played to this day online...
Air Attack 2 was my first ps1 game, really loved that
Armyman 3D and RTS were my childhood games, I loved that games :D
Miss playing these games played them all growing up wish they could remaster them
Oh lord, first games looks terrible, except for the Sarge's Heroes and the Helicopter ones. In my opinion, RTS was the pinnacle of the series, wasted hours playing that bloody game in my childhood.
The ISO original and ISO would war were actually pretty great on PC. Tons of online play too.
this games is one of my childhood, i played almost every tittle in the PS1 and PS2.
Seria muito bom um jogo de RTS Army Men no mesmo estilo de Company of Heroes com varias cores e unidades de plástico.
Também um novo jogo do Army Men World War.
Top N1 Army men team assault 👍
Army Men World War Final Front was awesome
The air attack games were the best! Good times
Trying to play Army Men 3D as a kid was wild
Amry men rts was not only my childhood game but also all my brothers childhood time goes fast i missed this time when everything was fun😢❤
You forgot about Portal Runner, that’s one of the best ones
I remember that i had installed army men RTS in the living room computer so much memories there i have to download it
Army Men 2 was my favorite game when I was both 9 and 10
Sarges Heroes 1&2 on the N64 and 2 on the PS2 are by far the best versions of any of these games!
Who else agree that Army Men Team Assault is the best?
I used to think that plastic Sarge picked up was chicken lol... I'm considering buying Army Men RTS on steam as I downloaded it back in 2009 and play it on a 3rd party software online and it was tons of fun.
wow what a drop in quality after 2004

Army Men as RTS like StarCraft 2 as replacement ❤ Green, Yellow, Red, Blue and White Soldiers, you have more campaings even ❤
Lol I loved my childhood had the army men games
I loved Team Assault back then...
Forgot Army Men WWII and Army Men for Gameboy Color
These games were the business!
Crazy to think how many different platforms so many of these launched on.
The ones that are missing from Windows, like Army men 3d, are damn near the only games that I wish weren't console exclusive.
Wow, amazing! Those games sound like fun, despite being about shooting.
@@amanokeita14or the army men toys seen in, y’know, real life

The only Army Men game I ever played was Soldiers of Misfortune.
I always thought this series ended with Portal Runner. Which I'm not seeing on this list.
Bring this back as a split screen game
The amount of games that released in the same year lol
I remember an Army Men game where one of the maps was in the backyard of a suburbs home, and there was a toy train track set, and I think you could lift firecrackers using a tow on a helicopter. Does anyone remember which game this was and what the map/mission was called?
Missing "The Mean Greens - Plastic warfare"
oooh much nostalgia
Army Men to serve president Woody.
Army men world War was my favorite
Sarges war was the last game of the Army men series, anything after was a mistake
My favorite army men game is Army men strike and i beened playing 5 months
Sarge's War also had a much better looking Xbox 360 version as well
2 new army men games are coming soon! Green Hawk Platoon and Mini Royale!
You have to show sarges heroes 1 and 2 on Nintendo 64, Those are the best versions!
This just sums up games in general

Early 2000's 3D Shooters which was fun as hell with each additional game getting bigger and better
